FIVE LEGENDARY LOSERS

FIVE LEGENDARY LOSERS
Bag. 11, Chapter. Pay, ch's. 1

“Gather all the bodies.” A man gave orders to the royal soldiers from his horse.

That man was Pay, a Hulubalang of the palace. He was one of the leaders of the palace's chosen army. He and his army never failed in carrying out their duties.

That day, he had just managed to carry out a task to eradicate the thieves who often acted against the passing merchants to trade to the capital.

“The rogues on the southern route connecting the southern coast with the capital are getting bolder day by day. They keep messing up. Many traders are afraid to cross there.” A man with a thick mustache was talking to Pay.

“True Sir. Servant has also heard of it.” Pay listened with a respectful head.

“The king is very unhappy with this situation. Supposedly the arrival of the merchants could add tributes to the kingdom.” The thick-moustached man was the head of the Hulubalang palace. His name is Tok Gakgak.

In the palace of Samasta itself there are eight Hulubalang. These eight Hulubalangs were commanded by a Hulubalang chief who received direct orders from the King.

Each Hulubalang commanded a hundred highly trained selected soldiers. The task of these chosen soldiers was to guard the palace from outside attacks. Also securing the King's family. Sometimes they are also assigned specifically to carry out missions that can not be done by ordinary soldiers.

There was once a coup d'etat of the royal throne. Another nobleman, named Sangkamudian, had carried out a rebellion against the ruling King. At that time, the reigning King was King Shamangkasa.

Sangkamudian with the help of Tok Gakgak succeeded in overthrowing King Shamangkasa who had been in power for thirty years. The Space Dynasty has been in power for more than four generations in the Samasta kingdom.

For the role of Tok Gakgak who controlled the entire army command, Sangkamudian eventually quite easily overthrew the power of King Shamangkasa.

King Shamangkasa did not struggle against the coup because the troops who should guard and secure the fort and the palace also defected on the orders of Tok Gakgak and Sangkamudian.

The King's resistance to the Coup lasted no more than one day because the plan had been made very carefully and calculated.

King Shamangkasa was killed in an unequal fight. Sword Tok Gakgak ended up tragically ending the King's life. He was killed in front of the troops who were supposed to be there to guard him.

After the coup of power succeeded, at the whisper of Tok Gakgak, finally Sangkamudian who had been appointed as the new king gave his first decree.

“Clean all those who bear the name of Angkasa behind its name from the Samasta royal territory, finish them all.” A commandment that made the beginning of terror for the people of Samasta kingdom.

Since the decree in the gaungkan, dozens of men and women who are considered to bear the name of Angkasa died in the hands of the royal executioners.

Old and young, even babies if indicated to have a bloodline from the ancestors of Space, it can be sure it will end its life soon.

Sangkamudian reigns by spreading terror, and Tok Gakgak is an excellent terror executor. The reward is now Tok Gakgak can even rule like a King. Sangkamudian was the reigning King, but Tok Gakgak was actually the one who ran the kingdom.

All the soldiers were very afraid of the power of Tok Gakgak because he would not hesitate to behead every soldier who disobeyed or did wrong.

At the time of the coup, Pay was the commander of the regular forces guarding ten hamlets in the kingdom's outermost territory. When the coup occurred, even Pay and the other soldiers and the villagers did not know about it.

A change of guard then required Pay to return to the royal capital. Once every two years the soldiers are indeed in rotation to perform tasks in new posts.

Pay and his army of twenty men came to Tok Gakgak to report.

“I've heard a lot about you. You are a good and obedient soldier and can count on. Your fighting ability I heard is very good too. I'll continue to monitor your every progress.” Tok Gakgak said to Pay.

“Thank you Mr.” Answer Pay.

“How long have you been a soldier?”

“It has been more than ten years Mr.”

“So commander?”

“Six years Mr.”

“As I heard, you are enough to meet the requirements.”

“Thank you Mr.”

“I'm in need of a Hulubalang. Are you interested?” Ask Tok Gakgak.

“Please Lord, I feel unworthy of this honor.”

A kick landed on Pay's cheek. Pay was surprised and fell, but quickly crouched back while still showing respect.

“It wasn't you who determined. You are a royal warrior. Follow orders!!” Tok Gakgak seems angry.

“Ampuni servant Tuan.”

“Jom Maidiiii...” It's not like calling someone's name.

“I Mr.” A man with a sturdy body came over while showing his respect.

“Kill him!!” Tok Gakgak gave the order.

“Good Mr.” Jom Maidi stared intently at Pay.

“You ... kill Jom Maidi if you can.” Tok Gakgak said to Pay.

“Mr...”.

“Whoever wins, I will raise it to Hulubalang.” Obviously Tok Gakgak then pulled over and took his seat.

The other soldiers also pulled over like giving space to Pay and Jom Maidi.

Both know, this is a direct order. To deflect, is to give up his head to separate from the body.

Now Jom Maidi and Pay are facing each other. They took a swing. Jom Maidi pulled the spear that was behind him. So did Pay immediately draw his sword.

CIAATT

Jom Maidi took the initiative to start. He threw his spear at Pay. Pay moved to the side and fended off the spear thrust that was pointing at his body.

TING

The sound of swords and spears clashing.

Jom Maidi nimbly continued to urge Pay with his spear-style game that flashed looking for a target. But Pay wasn't a soldier yesterday afternoon either. Before becoming a palace warrior, he was a capable fighter.

Pay deftly can still compensate for the spear game of Jom Maidi.

TING TING TING

Pay is attacking. He swung his sword towards Jom Maidi. By twisting his body and fending off Jom Maidi's spear thrust, Pay slapped his sword towards his opponent.

The two urged each other and attacked with agile movements.

Jom Maidi is seen getting into the range of Pay's sword as he feels like ending the fight. Jom Maidi came in and threw his spear into Pay's head and tried to stab it into his opponent's body.

Pay managed to dodge the attack and fend off the spear.

TING

Then with a quick and measured movement, Pay lowered his body to move away from Jom Maidi's spear that was lifted up and quickly managed to slash Jom Maidi's stomach.

Jom Maidi staggered backwards while holding his stomach which was hit by a sword. Pay quickly caught up with him, then with a single lightning move he took his place behind Jom Maidi's back and mercilessly then slashed his sword down Jom Maidi's neck.

CREESSSSSS

Blood immediately slashed from the slaughtered neck of Jom Maidi.

“Arrgggggg..

“I'm sorry Mr.” Pay softly whispered the sentence to Jom Maidi's ear while hugging her body that would droop to the ground.

Jom Maidi was killed instantly. He collapsed covered in blood.
