The Trap For Lin Xuan

Lin Xuan started to study the speed sutra scripture. Perhaps it contained language that Lin Xuan did not understand, but he did his best to master the speed written on the manuscript sheet.

Even he learned it after returning or descending from the top of the hill. More precisely at night, Lin Xuan seemed willing to stay up late from being excited to study the book.

Lin Xuan continued running, but who would have thought that the many traps that seemed to be attached were not only the wooden rods that were bound and swinging earlier, but a moat covered in grass and it did not seem the slightest bit that it was a trap. Fortunately, Lin Xuan instantly put on a strong instinct and directly jumped in order to not fall into the trap.

“Sial, why so many traps. This is making me stifled! Who set the trap here? Though yesterday there was no trap at all!” Lin Xuan said with great annoyance.

But often he was also eaten by a trap that made him hurt. So inevitably, Lin Xuan had to endure those injuries for a while.

“I'm very tired. The sun has gone up but I'm not halfway. Shit!” Said Lin Xuan. “If only I had mastered the full technique of speed silk, surely I have arrived since earlier.”

Despite wanting to walk slowly, at least to ease the growing tiredness, Lin Xuan was still trying to keep running even though there was somehow a trap that had hindered him.

He may think positively because someone deliberately set a trap last night to trap the animals.

“Today you're four hours late.”

“I'm sorry teacher. This student will do the usual punishment.” Lin Xuan bent his knees before Mei Lin who was sipping the tea that was in the cup.

“No, wait. Drink this herbal tea.” Mei Lin thrust a cup of turbid-brown tea at Lin Xuan.

 “Te-thanks teacher with this herbal tea.” Said Lin Xuan with slight hesitation accepting this herbal tea. However, he somehow felt a very fragrant aroma from the tea that made Lin Xuan curious about the taste that came out of the distinctive aroma.

“I'm really amazed at you. I understand your situation that all night you have studied the book I gave so that you wake up late. But when I understood that you were trying last night, I also set dozens of traps as you tried to climb to the top of the hill.”

“A-what?” Asked Lin Xuan couldn't believe hearing it.

“If you only learn just a theory from the book, then you will not be able to master it. So you also need to practice directly. Did you realize that your speed instincts increased a little while trying to avoid some of those traps? that's what you did because you tried to learn a little bit of what the book wrote.” Answer Mei Lin.

Then he politely sipped the cup of tea that Mei Lin gave him. But who would have thought, that his body was slightly better than before which made Lin Xuan feel extremely happy.

“Ba-good teacher.” Lin Xuan replied excitedly.
