Fallen Devil: The Resurrection of the God of Death

Fallen Devil: The Resurrection of the God of Death
Young Cultivator Competition (2)

Likewise with the other three opponents of Lin Xuan, it was the same thinking as the number four participant that Lin Xuan was not a cultivator that was too easy to fight so it would be taken care of at the very end.

Lin Xuan was just silent, there was no need to talk much and throw away voices for useless things. Nevertheless, he wanted to end this match so quickly that he could see other contestants.

“Start!” Shouted a referee starting a match in this first arena.

The four participants in the first arena chose to attack each other first so they dashed to the same point that was the halfway point regardless of Lin Xuan. This was Lin Xuan's chance of being able to attack all four at once while they were off guard.

“Sword of the century of death!” Lin Xuan pulled the tattoo on his arm, revealing a red radiant sword with a fairly powerful aura. Not only that, he moved very quickly towards the other four contestants while slashing his sword horizontally at such a great distance.

“Vermillion sword slash!”

A vermillion flame-shaped blaze lunged forward, emitting a sound so mystical coupled with the sound of a thunderous blaze. The four participants who had not previously focused on Lin Xuan and were off guard, they were all startled and instantly jumped to the right side simultaneously.

But right then and there, Lin Xuan again moved very quickly towards them, again, again a blaze erupted that left them shocked and unable to pull out a qi shield to protect themselves.

All the participants crashed out of the arena at once, making Lin Xuan turn around and sigh with relief at finishing in less than a minute. Then, he also put the sword back into place.

“Can't be trusted! The number one participant finished the fight in less than a minute!” Shouted the referee.

There were no cheers, but there was only silence, even from the other participants. Lin Xuan's gaze from them suddenly turned 180 degrees. However, there were those who realized that what Lin Xuan was putting out was not something careless.

At least it wouldn't be synchronous if it was issued by a low-level cultivator, they realized that Lin Xuan was a cultivator, yet could hide his cultivation so well. Cultivators of at least Dao fusion like the patriarch had absolutely no idea what Lin Xuan's cultivation realm was much less below it.

The hand clap was then started by the city king Jin Wu who was in the main seat, giving an appreciation. That was then followed by the other spectators who then clapped and cheered for Lin Xuan.

Then, the four people who had crashed out of the arena were cut to be given a treatment because the blaze released by Lin Xuan should have been able to leave them heavily injured. Especially their condition without preparation.

Ji Huang stood up from her seat, as well as Chang Ai who was similarly shocked. They realized that something was beyond reason.

“Ago fast! Then is the sword that was issued a legendary level spiritual sword? That's a legendary level spiritual sword right?” Ji Huang asked herself, but Chang Ai heard it.

Actually Chang Ai stood up not surprised by the sword, but a pattern of attacks that looked elegant when trying not to attack his opponent using a sword, but a stance that came out of the sword he was holding. However, after hearing from Ji Huang's statement, Chang Ai turned her head towards him and came back startled.

“Pe-the legendary spiritual swords? A few days ago we faced the boy, he also used the same sword, I think it is not any spiritual sword. But why did you just find out that it's a legendary spiritual sword?”

“I don't know, but I just guessed it. Because if it was indeed a legendary weapon, with my current abilities I wouldn't be able to analyze it.”

“King of the city, who can not refuse it. I don't want the others, the boy has an unusual spiritual sword, obviously he is also not an ordinary person.”  Ji Huang replied to what Jin Wu had said.

“Can't be a patriarch, you already have three core disciples which are already too strong which they are all nine-star Nascent Soul cultivators. Are you really greedy?”

Ji Huang did not care about it, she would still strengthen her sect by taking Lin Xuan in. After all, Lin Xuan was certain that even he would bet 90% that he won this fight.

“You better not be too rash, have you not suspected since we faced it? All his powers are related to darkness as well as death.” Said Fen Jihyang who was not so happy.

“Lantas, will the power related to light always be good? clearly not, do you remember the story that the former eastern dragon leader was a light dragon? Think rationally and make sense Patriarch Fen Jihyang.” Java Ji Huang spontaneously.

........

Lin Xuan sat back down, he noticed the second arena and the third arena that had not stopped at all to show who was able to survive in a single arena. For the one arena that has been empty, they fill it using the next participant so that the event gets faster.

He then sighed while commenting on his own abilities.

“My understanding of the speed silk technique has now increased to 80% already really so fast that my movements can barely be read and followed. Unfortunately just the vermillion slash technique, my comprehension is still low which is about 10% saa.”

No wonder, in fact he had also just learned the vermillion sword slash technique recently. This is so that he does not rely too much on both techniques that he thinks are too high and should be able to kill them at any time. However, he was quite happy that 10% was already too strong.

Each fight, Lin Xuan saw how their fighting style was, this made it easier for him to analyze and use battle patterns if one of them became Lin Xuan's enemy in the next round.

But, after looking carefully, there was nothing good, all the martial arts they released were not at all striking and only visible to the market. Perhaps the cause was because they were not disciples of a particular sect or family that obtained special training.

Despite that, he had no intention or attitude to belittle someone as weak as anything. The teaching from Zhang Wei that one's person should always respect others no matter what others have.

Lin Xuan was still sitting quietly in his place, watching the next fight closely. He studied his opponent's movements and techniques very thoroughly, looking for weaknesses and mistakes that could be exploited to defeat them easily.

Some fights take place quickly, only lasting for a few minutes before the winner is determined. However, there was also a fight that lasted quite a long time, draining energy and making the audience even more entertained.

Lin Xuan looked at the few participants who were expected to be his opponents in the next round. He began to plan strategies to deal with them, thinking about what attack to use, what moves he would make, and what moves he would take.

“This damn string is so boring. Besides I want to see the ability of Wu Yan which is still very long.”
