Emergency Meeting

Rafael who has arrived at the office immediately entered the boardroom of directors. Rafael walked with a very sad face. His eyes were so cold and sharp. Making some employees who cross paths with the CEO of Miller's company was terrified. They were seen whispering to each other seeing the gripping aura that Rafael gave.

A guard opened the door for Rafael. Everyone who was inside the boardroom immediately turned their heads at the same time.

Eric Barnett and some of the members of the board of directors and some of the investors of Miller's company. Rafael immediately walked towards his seat of distress with the cold aura he had been carrying since earlier.

Rafael sat in his great chair and received the document containing the agenda of this sudden meeting.

“Now I'm here. Tell me what exactly is the purpose of this emergency meeting?”rafael asked as he stared one by one the members of the board of directors who attended the emergency meeting.

Eric Barnett, who is one of the third-largest shareholders in Miller's company, holds the baton of his greatness. Eric sat opposite Rafael despite the great distance.

“We are here to discuss your removal as CEO of the company” Eric replied

Rafael smiled cynically at Eric Barnett's reply.

“How dare you guys want to remove me from my post!”rafael Sindir

“We consider you unfit to be CEO of the company. Jason Miller's illegitimate son doesn't deserve to be CEO of this company. Moreover, your behavior in youth has tarnished the image of the company”, Eric revealed

Rafael inflamed hearing insults from Eric Barnett.

“Who said I was an illegitimate child? How dare you spread slander like that!”snapping Rafael with a sharp and murderous look at Eric Barnett

“Mr Arthur has hidden that secret but I know you're not actually the heir to the Miller family. You're just the son of Jason Miller's affair with his girlfriend and gave birth to you”urai Eric Barnett

“You must have heard that from your favorite grandson, right? Unfortunately, all of this is not true. I am the legitimate son of Jason and Isabelle Miller”ucap Rafael firmly

The members of the board of directors who originally supported Rafael's removal and sided with Eric Barnett were confused by Rafael's statement. They are now confused as to which stronghold they should support.

Eric Barnett began to falter with Rafael's statement.

The board of directors whispered to each other again. They doubted Rafael.

Rafael laughed lightly at Eric Barnett.

Rafael just smiled cynically at Eric's bluff.

“The board of directors I respect, the woman referred to by Mr. Eric Barnett is his favorite grandson. Celine Barnett's. He and I dated when we were young. But that woman tricked me and cheated on me behind my back. And the baby she was carrying had already been aborted. But I'm not sure that baby is my son because when he was with me, he slept with another man.”

“The company shares that Mr. Barnett complained about, have indeed decreased since I became the CEO of the company. But this is not just Miller's company. Don't forget that there is a global recession. All the big companies in the world, are struggling to survive in these uncertain circumstances. But I assure you, that I will strive to fight for everything. I will do everything to keep the company standing in the middle of the global recession that is currently squeezing all of us.”

“I hope you can support me because all of this will also have an impact on you too. Don't be selfish just thinking about the benefits for you. You also have to think about how many employees depend on this company. That's why I ask you to be patient. I will definitely get us out of this uncertain condition and the company can go back to normal as usual”pinta Rafael at length.

The atmosphere of the debate at the emergency meeting was fierce. The board of directors is split into two camps. Rafael and Eric Barnett. The two threw each other insinuations and argued fiercely.

Eric wants to remove Rafael from the CEO position and take control of Miller's company. With information from her favorite granddaughter, Celine. Eric wants to remove Rafael because he considers Rafael not worthy enough to occupy the position of CEO of the company. Eric does not know if Celine also had an affair with Ramon Miller during a relationship with Rafael. So Rafael refuses the blame for the baby Celine aborted.

Amidst their debate, suddenly Arthur Miller, the owner of the company, came to the emergency meeting. The meeting which was scheduled for the removal of the office of the grandson.

Everyone who was in the meeting room immediately turned to look towards the old man who was full of authority. Arthur walked towards the seat that Rafael was wearing in the middle.

“Big master? What's the big master here for? I can solve this problem.”sahut Rafael as soon as he sees Arthur coming to this emergency meeting.

“There's more important business you have to take care of. Go now!”arthur said, handing over important information about Jessica's abduction.

Raphael receives the file that Arthur proposes. Rafael was shocked to read the news of his wife's abduction.

“Jessica kidnapped?”rafael murmured in his heart.

Without waiting for long, Rafael immediately ran out of the emergency meeting without caring for all the members of the board of directors who were still arguing fiercely.

“Where is your grandson going! Our business is not finished!”grouse Eric Barnett

“You guys are with me! Let my grandson look for his wife who just kidnapped an unknown person”getak Arthur with a sharp look

Everyone who heard the news that Arthur had just delivered seemed shocked. And Eric too. While Arthur continues to stare sharply at his colleagues who have dared to disturb the company he has founded decades ago.
