Ep 18's

Reina and Alex arrive at Alex's parents' house at 01:30 in the morning. In addition to the happiness of the feelings of the two, they had resigned, unable to imagine how panicked their two children were when it was already midnight they had not returned. However, it was really two little angels.

Upon Reina's arrival, their two children, Railo and Raisya, were fast asleep with anxiety.

Precisely waiting for the arrival of the two are Mommy Jessica and Daddy Albert. The two compacts were unable to close their eyes before Alex and Reina got home.

“See, your son is very good Reina. They did not even cry at all when they found out that the mother was not beside them. Both Reina and Jessica who heard it felt very touched. Even Jessica could not believe that the notoriously cold child could not empathize with such a speech. This felt like a miracle to Jessica.

“Aaah, Mommy was very touched to hear it.” Jessica acted as if she melted hearing Alex, making Alex slightly re-raise her ego. According to the man, the mother was too much.

Alex sniffed his shoulders, the man's right hand moved around Reina. “Should I learn that from someone else? It was Reina who made me talk like that Mommy knows?”

Jessica closed her mouth. He intended to clap, but was worried about the noise and woke up his two grandchildren. The middle-aged woman then let out a clap of her hand. “Bravo! Reina you managed to soften a heart that used to be as hard as a rock!” praise Jessica.

Reina smiled clumsyly, she was flattered by Alex's newly changed attitude.

“It's night, quickly you guys also come to sleep. I ask you not to go out again tonight, even if it's about work,” pinta Jessica.

Alex and Reina agree to the middle-aged woman's request. The two immediately went into the room and cleaned themselves before laying down on the bed to rest. Not to forget, Alex clasped Reina's hand when they entered the room, making Jessica again touched by the changes that happened to her son.

The door closed, Reina breezed toward the closet to look for her pajamas, but stopped when Alex's burly hand prevented her. Reina looked at the hand that prevented her and then turned towards her face.

While finishing taking off his jacket, Alex said, “Don't, let me just get you.”

Reina was surprised, she felt as if Alex knew what caused her to leave the house a few hours ago. He complied without asking much. In addition, Alex immediately found a suit for Reina.

“You only wear this one. It's always canik when you wear.” Alex handed me a pair of black pajamas. The last sentence he made Reina blush enough, she immediately went to the bathroom to clean herself and change her clothes.

After Reina's return from the bathroom, Alex appears to be lying in bed. It just so happened that before Reina left the house, Alex had already cleaned himself and changed his clothes.

Reina sat herself in the corner of the bed, her heart feeling a little awkward being in one bed with Alex. Reina thought that Alex was asleep, apparently the man just closed his eyes. Alex gets out of bed and approaches Reina when she realizes she is out of the bathroom.

“You don't want to tell me?” ask Alex. The man apparently still remembered what Reina said when the woman cried in the old house that Alex did not recognize.

“About?”

“You said you had a past I didn't know about. What is it?”

Yeah, Reina remembers she said it to Alex. But, instead of answering, Reina took a deep breath. Makes Alex a little sorry for asking.

Seeing that, Alex immediately embraces Reina, invites her towards the sofa, away from her two children so that they do not suddenly wake up from hearing them talking too closely.

“We talk here, they won't hear it.” Alex took off his embrace when Reina was already sitting on the sofa.

“How? What do you want to tell me?”

Reina took a deep breath. The woman ventured to look at Alex, she whispered, then replied by the master with a smile. The smile Alex threw was enough to make Reina's heart calm to start talking.

“I don't know where to tell you. But, the night I met you back then, I was devastated.”

Alex was silent waiting for Reina to continue. “I just came home after wandering, but I found out the fact that my mother had died without my knowledge.”

Reina started to tear up, Alex immediately cupped both sides of Reina's cheeks. “Wait-wait, you can't continue the story if it makes you sad.”

Reina smiled as she shook her head. “No, I have to tell you what happened. Know it? I couldn't tell anyone at the time, because after the fact that my mother was gone, I was told that she wasn't my real mother, but it was Mother who raised an orphan from the orphanage twenty years earlier.”

“A-what? M-you mean ..?” sela Alex's.

“Yes, I'm not Mom's biological child, I'm an orphan who never even knew who my biological parents were. I don't know who they are.”

“That night, the wife of the uncle who became guardian at our wedding blamed me for Mother's death. He said that I was the one who caused Mother to go without because Mom had an accident when she was about to catch up with me.”

“As you know, I don't have a father. And aunt brought up Dad's death as my fault too.”

“She said, Dad died because saving me from a truck collision was a form that I was an unlucky carrier. I heard all the insults until I finally got out of control.”

Reina crying.

Yes, he no longer remembers it. She couldn't hold back her tears from coming out.

Alex swiftly approached Reina and hugged her. He felt very guilty for what he did that night to a girl who was in a state of destruction.

So what can he do to make up for his mistake? Alex does not know.

For the first time, Alex cries in front of Reina. Yes, she could not even hold back her own tears as she tightly hugged Reina to calm her as hard as she had. But behold, even he who is now wiping away his tears.

“Reina, please forgive me for making you worse that year. I apologize for the selfish and arbitrary nature that I have apparently made you so tormented.”

Reina was filled, she only stayed in that embrace until that night became the best night for Reina in her entire life.

“I will make up for all my mistakes as best as I can.”
