EVERNA Ring of Fire

EVERNA Ring of Fire
DANTONU Part 9

"No! You go! You won't be able to...!"

"With the power of the four, we are definitely capable!" In general, the Komodorai are not only hard-skinned, but also stubborn."

"The sign wants to fight help dad! It's an opportunity to practice the power of the sign!" exclaim the powerful firstborn commodore.

"Thika wants to prove that being intelligent can also be strong, like dad!" exclaim the middle child.

Dhaka just nodded quickly in response and refocused his mind. Dibu was right, slowly but surely the combined strength of the four powerful commodore pressed back on Vrithra, so that his head was pushed back. Even the divine dragon started roaring, his lightning energy instead turning around to injure himself.

This proves that unity, let alone the bonds of affection in the family is an infinite source of strength and is able to overcome any power.

"Delinally bad! You selfless traitor! Feel the most terrible lesson of challenging the gods!" A moment after saying so, Vrithra stomped the energy gathered in his head. Lightning gushed freely and completely from the dragon's muzzle, hitting everything in front of him.

As a result, Dhaka, Dibu, Rambu and Thika are hit hard and are located in all directions. The worst pain of all life made Dhaka roar, his body slumped on the rocky ground.

However, in the position of the face down Dhaka can still lift his head an inch from the ground. Hard to turn, Dhaka then called out in a hoarse voice, "Mom! The r-bamboo! Thica!"

What Dhaka saw was precisely Nirya, Arumi and Taksaka were taking the golden opportunity that he and his family opened. Nirya plunged her chain creak in the Vrithra skin crack with energy swirling like a drill from her flagship line, the Forever Whirl of Hurricane Terabas.

Arumi's fire arrows laden with energy as powerful as the Heart-Tracking Fire Dragon's were striking the same crack point as Nirya's target.

Lastly, Taksaka's turn plunged Dhaka's spear loaded with his ultimate fire energy, the Fire Train Warrior Raid. As a result, the artificial wound that was Vrithra's sole weakest point began to bleed.

"Agh! Wh-what...this? This taste...pain? Thousands of years since I last felt it. I hate this, I hate it! I must destroy everything as the antidote for this pain!" With a single roar, Vrithra again struck his lightning energy.

In the next second, moaning sounds were heard. Dhaka was flabbergasted, again Nirya, Arumi and Taksaka bounced away. Crazy, is Vrithra's energy really endless?

Finish already. All the energy has been mobilized by all the warriors that exist. All capital has been drained in this last gamble, but it is almost certain that the chances of winning from Vrithra or the minimum of survival have completely disappeared.

Before dark and empty to pick him up, Dhaka's observant eyes caught the figure of a man passing by. The man then plunged the machete with a bolt of lightning into Vrithra's wound hole. That was when Dhaka knew exactly, the man he saw was Sthira.

"Feel the end of Indra, the Earth Shakes, the Sky is Inching!" While saying so, Sthira immersed Gharma deeper down to the base of her blade.

Vrithra roared. It was as if a thunderstorm was raging, destroying his body from within. When his fall in the Age of the Gods repeated itself.

"No...! There is Vrithra, why should there be Indra? I can't take this, no!" his yell.

"Because if something breaks the balance of the world, there will appear a figure that will restore the balance as before." Sthira took off her grip on her large mandau handle while kicking Vrithra's giant body with all the rest of her ultimate energy.

Running out of energy, the giant dragon that was already dazed continued to fall while being pushed back. Worse, the kick Sthira was as if deliberately directing Vrithra into a giant crater hole in the middle of the caldera.

Although it seems that victory is definitely in hand, Dhaka's attention is instantly distracted by something far more important to him. With his energy starting to recover, he instantly moved as fast as his legs were able to drag his body.

Dhaka turned his head left-right, calling out in a hoarse voice, "Mother... Thica... The sign!"

The next thing Dhaka saw was precisely Arumi and Taksaka who were kneeling beside Thika's body and the scattered sign. As their gazes collided with Dhaka's gaze, Arumi, then Taksaka bowed while shaking slowly.

Dhaka felt his heart being crushed to ashes.

Even more broken Dhaka's heart saw his soul mate, Dibu Anam also sprawled on the ground, on a pool of his own blood. The bottom of the mother Komodo dragon's body was crumbling, from the tip of the foot until her waist twisted until facing the wrong direction.

Without thinking long Dhaka scattering and memapah the body of his partner. "Mom! It's fu!" He called out, as if hoping that there would still be a speck of life left in the body of the crumbling commodore.

It turns out that Dibu is still breathing, even though his breathing is only one. With half-opened eyes, Dibu stared back at his partner.

Dibu then said softly, "D-Dhaka... Is Vrithra dead?"

Dhaka's eyes glazed over. "Yes, Dibu. It was Sthira who dropped the dragon into the crater pit."

Dibu did not respond to Dhaka's answer and instead asked something else, "B-how? The signs? Thika?"

Dhaka's tears are growing. "They have returned to the shade of the Srisari."

"Currently... Soon I will... Dhaka... It feels.it's cold... I... I'm scared...!"

Dhaka knew that what was frightening to Dibu was not death itself, but a sense of loneliness that would torment him in the afterlife without his soul mate.

So Dhaka stroked the face of his partner and said softly, "Don't be afraid, Dibu. Sooner or later Dhaka will surely follow Dibu and the children into the arms of the Srisari.'

"Ah. thank you... Dhaka..." Dibu Anam, the head of the Komodo dragon tribe in Watas took a deep breath, then closed his eyes forever.

"Mom! It's fuelled! Nooo!" No matter how loud Dhaka is, he has no power to hold his hysteria. No matter how great their victory over Vrithra was, it was nothing compared to Dhaka who lost almost the entire family. Though Dhaka's original intention was to save the entire family and his tribe from the wrath of Vrithra or the eruption of Dantonu. Fate said otherwise, he instead had to pay for this victory with an enormous sacrifice.

Moments later, lava suddenly gushed out from within the crater hole of Mount Dantonu. Lothawat! The lightning magic script the key of the volcano must have opened the door to an incredible eruption.

Does this mean that warriors, including Dhaka and Taksaka, have to sacrifice even more, even losing their lives? Worse still, the cessation of their struggle in Dantonu will give an opportunity to one or two other powerful countries to bring disaster and even greater tempest throughout Antapada.

If this is the case, instead of the peace-making hero, history will further worsen the names of Dhaka, Sthira, Nirya and Arumi as the bearers of a series of disasters.
