After getting ready, I then took the bag, carrying the HP, as well as the necessary books. Don't forget I locked the door to keep the house stuff safe. Time still shows at 8 pm, the atmosphere of the Nur Complex tends to be quiet and quiet.
That is because the people who live usually after 6 pm, they settle in the house because there is a belief that says that.
Whoever goes out after 6 pm, then his life will not bring blessings.
Surely I don't care about any of that, even I don't believe in it one bit. It's just a myth, no one can explain it and no one can prove it anyway. I thought the story was just made so the kids wouldn't go out at night.
I kept walking through a narrow alley not far from my house. Right in front of the alley there is a kiosk that provides snacks for children who usually play in the field near the kiosk. I approached the stall and was greeted by Mr. Tomo the owner of the stall.
"You want to go to Nanda's house, Sarah? Usually comes the afternoon. Rarely do Adek go out gini nights." The middle-aged man's friendly smile. "Yes sir, want to do the job, this afternoon asleep." I was embarrassed as I lowered my head.
"Not to be ashamed, Adek want to buy what?"
"You buy milk chocolate 2, same few snacks for Sarah same Nanda."
"Just a moment."
The man then walked up to the storefront and picked up some of the things I asked for. "Adek is really close with Nanda." I smile. Nanda and I have known each other for a long time. He is the most precious person to me. Loved her. I'd do anything for him.
Many things we have been through together, one of which is when we race on a bike.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nanda and I decided to race on a quiet street so as not to disturb people. We then set the starting line and finish quite far from where we are. We then prepare at the starting line. Before it started, I bought some snacks and also medicine at one of the stalls.
"Make what?"
"It's useful."
"We're just racing doang, not trying to get sick."
"You'll know later."
Nanda stopped asking. She knew that Sarah had predicted everything that would happen. Sarah is a smart kid. He's not academically smart, but he's good at strategy and other things. At a young age, Sarah often resolves conflicts around her.
It often resolves internal conflicts or other serious conflicts. He is often called the "Magic Child" by those around him. But even so, Sarah is not good at friendship. To date, only Nanda is Sarah's only friend. Nanda had to go to great lengths to get along with Sarah.
Sarah. We're 5 years old. But you're amazing, I wish I could be like you...
"Myan? What are you thinking?"
Nanda flinched from his seat. I smiled at him and helped him up.
"Let's start!"
"Okay"
Nanda quickly ran towards his purple bicycle. For a moment I saw the happy face that emanated from his face. I'm glad to see it.
Nan... I'm not as good as you are. One day you'll realize it...
We have prepared at the starting line with our respective bikes. We also started a countdown of 3... 2... 1... "Wusss" Our bike went fast.
We both precede each other. I then increased my speed to get ahead of Nanda. But Nanda won't budge he'll also increase his speed.
Ahh.no! He's too fast!"
Just as I thought. Nanda pedaled his bike too fast until he fell into a big ditch. I, who witnessed the incident, laughed out loud.
Nanda was angry at the people who had made his ditch here, so he fell into it. I just watched it while trying to hold back my laughter. Because I was standing too far aside, I suddenly slipped into the sewer. In the end, we were trapped in a deep sewer.
"Yey there's a temen!!"
"Now how do we get out!? Sepi tau here. Climb up?"
"Ehh!? That's..."
We both fell silent and thought about how to get out of here. There are 2 options, first scream for help but because our voice is small so the possibility of escaping is only a few percent.
Both of them climbed this ditch but we had to leave our bikes because it was impossible for us to take them.
"sickness..."
I looked towards Nanda. Nanda sat on one of the largest stones with wounds on his legs and hands. He seemed to hold onto the part of his body that was sick while holding back tears.
It seems.. I have to find another way..
I picked up a small black sling bag near my bike. I then walked over to Nanda who was trying to endure the pain. I then took out a bottle of mineral water to wash the wound before giving him the medicine.
"Silver.."
"Hold yeah. It's your fault too."
"I..Yeah.."
After clearing the wound, I then gave the wound medicine to the injured area. After that, I wiped the area. For the leg area, I'm keeping it so that germs and bacteria don't infect the wound.
"Done. How's it?"
"Udah.. Thanks..."
"Can we walk?"
Nanda was silent. I understand the point. I looked around this ditch. This sewer is quite large, a lot of sharp rocks scattered everywhere that makes me have to be careful in stepping.
I touched the sewer wall. The walls are made of rocks, so it still allows me to climb them. But, Nanda...
"The walls are of stones... But... It will be hard to climb... Hm..."
I thought hard. Trying to find another way. I looked around again carefully. I'm paying attention to the details of this gutter.
Hmmmm.. It seems... I have to think off track...
I then saw some short plants growing on some side of the gutter. There are also some piles of trash that residents throw away.
I know what I'm supposed to do..
"Double! Here for a minute, yeah! I'm going for a second. It's medicine and food."
"Eh!?"
I smiled and took both of our bikes.
"Nanda is fine. I'm sure it is."
"Well.. Ninggalin again.. Sebel.."
Nanda then threw some stones into the water which made the stone bounce.
Like melody music..
Nanda ate the food Sarah gave him. Then drink the mineral water that was also given by Sarah. Nanda is confused by Sarah's attitude. Nanda really could not guess his behavior nor his way of thinking.
Nanda thinks Sarah is like an adult who has a 5-year-old form. Nanda had never met or seen a child as calm as Sarah.
For Nanda, Sarah is a person of greater value than anything else. Nanda was always helped by Sarah. Nanda often takes cover behind Sarah's back. This often makes Nanda feel very dependent on Sarah.
"I love him. I love him so much. I pledge.. Sarah... Someday.. I'm the one who's gonna protect you."
Nanda then pulled out a butterfly-shaped gold pendant from his pocket. It was a gift of friendship from himself to Sarah. They wear the same pendant with the same motif.
Tears began to wash her soft cheeks. Nanda had no idea how much longer this friendship would last. Everything has an end and no one can escape from it. Nanda then decides something, the thing he will do when he grows up.
I'm not gonna avoid it. I won't avoid the end. I don't know when we'll hold out...Sarah...
I was so hopeful... I see your smile when we grow up
