Chapter 2, Part 3: VS NPC

"FINE!! IF YOU LISTEN TO ME, THEN HOLD ON TO SOMETHING SOLID, NOW!! I hope he hears it" I hope.

"SIR HERO, PLEASE DO IT!!" reply Fina shouted. Hearing his reply, without hesitation I immediately released Fire Wave towards one of the wheels of the horse carriage.

Right on target, now the horse carriage has lost one of its wheels. The face of panic on the archer's face, I smiled sinisterly at him. Then after the Cooldown ended, I used Fire Wave once again on the other wheel and the result was the same. But the horse carriage did not stop. I also heard their panicked screams.

"I'm sorry, horse master! But I have to do it!! Shadow Hands!!" Feeling unable to stop their movements, I also used the Crowd Control skill. A shadowy hand came out from the ground and restrained the movement of the horses which then ended up falling.

A few moments later, a girl came out and ran towards me and hugged me tightly.

"Thank you. hiks... if not. hiks.. because Mr. Hero... hiks.. maybe, maybe," Fina cried on my shoulder, I also stroked her head.

"Yosh, yosh. You've been fighting well, Fina," I said to calm him down. Even though her height is almost on par with mine, she is still a girl. But the moment did not last long, because an arrow had just shot and was eyeing Fina. I immediately protected her and ended up unable to move my body.

"Oh, that's what it looks like." I replied and immediately showed a green pill with an oblong shape. ".. It is Paragon Pills, by consuming it, makes us able to remove the effect of Paralyzed Debuff easily. So that's why I'm still fine" continued me who then grasped the pill until it was destroyed.

I actually bought the pills from the auction site after I sold various items from the Inventory I had. The price is quite cheap, for 1 pack is priced at 100 Eternal Bronze Coin. 1 pack contains 10 pieces, and I bought it for 10 packs. After seeing this, it seemed to upset them.

"Barrett! Prepare your strongest attack! Me and Axel will hold him back!!" the command of someone I pushed before. The person whom Axel summoned by him immediately took out a spear from inside the carriage, while Barret who was holding the bow immediately nodded slowly and began his preparations.

"What do you really want, huh? Why are you guys after Fina!?" ask them.

"Our goal is to save the girl from them! A player like you would probably be able to understand it!!" the answer.

"Saving? No kidding!! What you did was a mistake, you must have known it wasn't!!" my reply.

"Mr Deo, it's useless for you to tell him! Basically all those players are just selfish," Axel said.

"Don't equate me with them. If I do look like such a coward of trash, then why would I bother coming to save Fina!!" I immediately checked their status, but all that seemed complete was Deo.

"Had spoken enough! Die!!" Deo immediately jumped towards me and swung his sword from top to bottom. I immediately parried him and pushed him strong enough that he retreated backwards.

"Thousand Strikes!!" This time it was Axel's turn to go forward and try to attack me with repeated punches. I tried to dodge it and several times fended it off with a sword. Then Deo who saw the opportunity immediately seized the opportunity by attacking me from behind. But having learned this, I immediately lowered my head and the result was that Axel and Deo's weapons clashed with each other.

"Wave Word!!" I used the Sword Wave Skill with a bit of MP in order not to hurt them too much, it also made them push away from me. I also activated my Sword Magic Skill, which was Fire Cloak.

"Ax!! Huh uh? Uargh!!" Right after the duration of Dark Prison ended, I immediately kicked Deo in the same direction as Axel earlier.

"Mr Deo! Master Axel! Get out of there!" barret's perspiration that was holding the arrow that was coated in wind magic was quite strong. I immediately replaced Fire Cloak with Dark Cloak.

Deo and Axel immediately got out of the way and Barret released the arrow. "Magic Arrow: Hurricane Shot!!" The arrow creates a mark on the ground when passing through it, also a strong wind is created around the arrow.

"Chaos Soul, Sword Magic: Dark Slash!!" I slashed the arrow, making the wind that enveloped the arrow spread to all the surrounding areas. Even I was pushed a few meters from where I stood.

"I wasn't too surprised anymore, when I saw him being able to slash my magic arrow just now" Barret murmured.

"What's the matter, Mr Deo?" call Axel when you realize Deo is thinking.

"I just realized one thing, that guy really has no intention of killing us" Deo replied. I who heard it could only sigh, because it was true.

"Wait, Mr. Deo. What do you mean by that?" ask Barret.

"So when he managed to blind us temporarily, he had a chance to kill us by decapitating us. But he didn't do it" Deo explained.

"Huft. If you understand, you better go. My current goal is to save Fina, if you want to retreat, I will not chase after you," I replied, re-inserting my sword.

"Sorry, even if you don't want to kill us. But our duty remains the same, we will take the girl to a safe place. That's why, trust that girl to us. But, if you also still don't want to let us do our duty, I will really kill you this time," he said. I immediately put on a guard, while he told Barret and Axel to stay away. But the moment he wanted to launch an attack, someone came carrying two people who were not too foreign to me.

"Enough get there!" he said stop Deo's doing.
