Chapter 1, Part 1: Prologue

"Hey, you know nothing about that?"

"Hmm? About what?"

"Ituloh, about PK which has lately become more common in EWO."

I was quite surprised by what Rossa gave me. It was a raffle coupon with the main prize being the Eternal Sphere. Eternal Sphere is a Full-Dive tool developed by Eternal Company. They themselves claim that the Eternal Sphere is their creation, and not the result of the development of Ether Maxy. But until now, no one has listened to it. Though who conveyed it himself was the President Director and founder of Eternal Company.

"Wait, Rossa! I can't accept it, you know? What if I don't get it, and instead get a consolation prize?" obviously me.

"If that happens, you'll just have to give it back twice as much!" rossa replied with a smile and her fingers formed the letter "V" near her cheek. I could only smile resignedly, and received the lottery coupon after thanking her.

The currencies in Eternal World Online are divided into five namely, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and the last one is Mythril. 1000 Eternal Bronze Coins are equivalent to 1 Eternal Silver Coin, 100 Eternal Silver Coins are equivalent to 1 Eternal Gold Coin, 100 Eternal Gold Coins are equivalent to 1 Eternal Platinum Coin, 100 Eternal Gold Coins are equivalent to, and 10000 Eternal Platinum Coins were equivalent to 1 Eternal Mythril Coin.

"Until now there is still no one who gets 1 Eternal Mythril Coin, the richest player currently only has 200 Eternal Platinum Coins," explained Rico. Then, he continued to explain the basic things.

The second basic thing was, the players would not earn money from defeating monsters. But in exchange, they obtained Monster Core which if sold would result in a fairly large Eternal Coin corresponding to its Star Rate. Then lastly, Rico asked me.

"Not only that, those who kill the player, will turn into PK. Then do you know what that means?" ask Rico back.

"PK or Player Killer, that's a name for those who kill players just for their personal pleasure, that's what you mean, right?" my answer.

"Just right! But unfortunately, not only did they kill players, they also killed NPCs or Non Player Characters" Rico replied.

Uh! I almost forgot that it is a game with the theme Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Role Playing Game or VRMMORPG. So, killing those NPCs was commonplace. There were even NPCs asking players to kill other NPCs. Whether it is in the real or virtual world, these 7 human vices will never disappear.

After basic character creation, I am now devoted to race, weapon, and status. I had a little bit of interest in the Demon race, but immediately broke the intention and took the Human race by the sword and immediately set the status I had.
