ENTANGLED IN MARRIAGE

ENTANGLED IN MARRIAGE
Chapter 49

Amera, who had just picked up Anna's cell phone, rushed back to the dining room. Her steps slowed down when she saw her husband standing staring at the wall while daydreaming.

"What are you doing, mas?" amera's question made Al's body jump in shock, even though Amera did not surprise him at all.

"Sa-me, I'm not doing anything. Where'd you come from?" Why did I go to the bathroom? Don't you want me, okay?" al's accusation just made Amera smile amusedly.

"Oh my goodness, Mr. Al. Why also I follow you to the bathroom, especially until you all. You're there anyway, mas. This is me taking my mama's phone in the pantry, she said she missed the time she was cooking earlier." Amera showed her the phone in her hand which was Anna's mother's phone, the man nodded in confidence.

"Oh."

"Jude, we're back in the dining room, yuk! Mama's just as papa's gonna wait."

"Yes" replied Al briefly.

After dinner at the house of Abdi's father, Al and Amera say goodbye to go home. And now they are in his room.

Time shows at one in the morning, but Al has not been able to sleep. Because he thought about the photo of a small child in figura in the Amera parents' house. Amera herself has been sleeping since they came home from Papa Abdi's house.

Why at Amera's house there's also a picture of the boy, huh? Does this have anything to do with her sister's accident like Amera once told me? Al thought in his heart.

Al rubbed his chin and scratched his non-itchy nape, looking like a person who was thinking hard.

Amera, the woman who previously slept in a supine position now changed her sleeping position to face Al. She opened her eyes and found her husband daydreaming, and so glanced at the hour hand late at night. The woman finally woke up.

"Mas," Amera called out softly, Al was a little surprised to hear Amera calling out to him, he turned his head with a long sigh.

"Why did you wake up? It's still night. Sleep on!"

"I should be the same as you, Dad. Why aren't you sleeping? It's malem, you know. Wh why? Think what?" Amera justifies its sitting position to a more comfortable position.

After a moment of silence, Al answered Amera's question. There was no harm in him telling me what he was thinking.

"You told me once that you hated Anna because Anna thought you were the cause of your sister's accident until your sister died. If I may know, what is the chronology?" amera's face turned sad when Al again asked about the things that made her slump at that time.

"So that time, when I was with my sister I was still both small. We're just like Mama going to the park. Mom said she wanted to take some food home. Coincidentally the distance of the garden to our house is quite close."

"So I'm with my sister playing balloons. My sister's balloon flew and she ran after her balloon. I tried to chase but-" Amera began to sob, the tears that had originally accumulated in her eye patch were now flowing without permission from the owner.

"But at that time there was a car that hit my sister. I, I want my sister's nyamperin but there are already many residents directly in groups. I don't want to see my sister. I was really scared that time. I decided to hide behind a tree. Until finally mom came and asked where my sister was. She was angry, she hated me until she told me I wasn't her real daughter."

Amera's tears were getting broken, so Al could not bear to see Amera crying as much as that. The man took a piece of tissue and gave it to his wife.

Amera wiped her tears using the tissue.

"At that moment I knew that I was not Anna's daughter. I'm the daughter of my first papa's wife, who died when she gave birth to me" she added.

"Udah, enough, yeah! I'm sorry to make you sad because you remember your past. Yes, yes, the crying!"

Amera nodded weakly.

"Emc .. I'd like to ask you one more thing, a picture of two young children in your house, who is it?"

"That's just as beautiful."

The name that Amera just mentioned made Al remember the chat that Arsen sent some time ago.

Shadow On

Good night, sir. I just want to tell you about the name of Abdi's daughter and Anna's mother. Her name is Beautiful Arandita.

Is beautiful? What does Amera mean by her picture with her sister, huh?

"What's wrong, mas? Do you know anything?" Al looked at Amera.

"I just want to know more about you and your family."

Amera's smile came up. He was happy because he thought Al was starting to care about his life.

"Why smile?" again Al looked at Amera with a strange look.

"It's all right, Mom. Wanna. As the saying goes, after a storm is gone there will be a rainbow. After crying there will be laughter. And it turns out that's true."

"Who's proverb?"

"From ..." Amera seemed to think.

"Don't think of anything unimportant! Sleep on! It was dawn and adhan."

There was a feeling of pleasure and happiness when Amera got such little attention from her husband.

"Yes, mas. Good nights! Uh, it's dawn means no night. What's the dawn of English, mas?" amera's silly question just now made Al again make his flat voice.

"Sleep!"

Amera immediately pursed her lips. "Yes, my mom."

***

"There is a tumor in the mother's uterus, so we have to do the surgical removal of the uterus of Ressa's mother. Because if it's not done it will be very dangerous to Ressa's mother's life," explained a doctor.

Mama Ressa looked shocked and could not believe what the Doctor had just said.

"Relevation of the Uterus?" The doctor nodded in confirming.

"Rubber, ma'am."

"That means I won't be able to have any more children, Doc. I don't want to, Doctor. Is there no way other than my uterus being lifted?"

The doctor took a long breath. "Sorry, mom. This is the only way. I have to be sincere, yes!"

Mama Ressa shook her head in fear. "No, Doc. I don't want to. I don't want to lose my womb! I DON'T WANTUUU!" hysterical shouting.

Both of Ressa's mama's eyes were open, cold sweat on her forehead running all the way to her neck. His breathing was stinging and he could be heard hunting. He circulated his gaze to every corner of the room and came to a halt when he saw Disa sleeping beside him. The woman rubbed her face using both palms.

"It turns out I'm just a dream" he said with a heavy sigh.

In his face Disa face was attached. Somehow there is a feeling of fear that radiates to the heart of Ressa's mother if one day she loses her daughter. Like when she lost her uterus that made her experience severe stress.
