ENTANGLED IN MARRIAGE

ENTANGLED IN MARRIAGE
Chapter 48

Al and Amera are now on their way to Anna's and Abdi's mom's house.

"Happy, yes, my mom. Mama didn't come along" Amera's tone sounded disappointed.

"Yes, but my mom is sick. Mama often has sudden abdominal pain after surgical removal of the uterus." Amera was shocked to hear that.

"Operation of uterus removal?"

"Hem," replied Al still focused on driving.

"Why mom, why?" Amera was curious and happy because Al wanted to chat about his family.

"Mama has a tumor in her uterus."

"Oh my God, pity my mother."

As a woman, Amera can feel how it feels in the position of Mama Ressa.

At the house of Anna and Daddy. The middle-aged woman was already impatiently waiting for the arrival of Disa who she thought would come with Al and Amera. The woman had just finished serving a lot of food at the simple dinner table for dinner.

"Well, Amera's been on the phone or chat you she's on the way or not?" papa Abdi shook his head.

"Yet. He just told me that Al's mother didn't come. He said he was suddenly sick. Maybe they're on the road now."

"Oh, so. It's a shame, yes, pah. And this should be our meeting with his mother Al. But yes, tomorrow we go there to look."

Papa Abdi nodded in agreement. "Yes, mah."

Revan and his parents are having dinner. The man's appetite disappeared instantly as Marina's mother began to talk about Disa.

"Vans. If you think that Disa fits you. It was beautiful, well, she was also independent, hard work had her own boutique. My mom likes him."

"When you're gonna play back home, yeah!" added the middle-aged woman.

While Revan remained silent unmoved. Mr. Indra, who noticed his son's face speculated that his son did not like Disa. Because there is no happy face there. Unlike the case, Revan was always happy if his mother started talking about Amera.

"I went back to the room first" said Revan flatly as he moved from his seat.

"Van, mama still wants to talk about Disa, baby. Revan," the man didn't budge at all, he kept walking towards his room.

"Revan why, yes, pah? How come he looks so moody not like the bias."

"Maybe Revan there's another job problem. Let's just go eat it, ma." Mr. Indra tried to neutralize the situation, Marina nodded weakly.

"Yes, pah."

Inside his room, Revan sat pensively on the lip of the bed. He's still thinking about Disa's confession this afternoon at Cafe Amora.

I really don't think the same with Disa. He was so obsessed with me that he did things in various ways. What if what he said about that night was true? Did I really do that to Disa? It doesn't feel possible. My position at that time was unconscious, I also could not remember anything about that night. If everything proves true and then Disa gets pregnant, what should I do? Do I have to take responsibility for mistakes I didn't realize? NAY! this can't happen.

The man rubbed his face a little rough.

Al's car is now parked in papa Abdi's yard. As soon as it was about to go down, Amera looked troubled to open the seat belt wrapped around her body. Al who witnessed the most

Ebut frowned.

"This, mas. Difficult." A little embarrassed to say it. The woman tugged the seat belt.

Al exhaled, again Amera made him bother. He also helped Amera open her seatbelt.

"This is how you can't. You're usually just ngerepotin sa-"

Al hung up his sentence when he realized that his face was now very close to Amera's face. And now their faces were about two centimeters apart. The distinctive aroma of mint and warm breath Al slammed into all parts of the face Amera.

The woman's heart returned to racing quickly beyond normal limits. And he had trouble breathing. Amera bit her lower lip nervously, not daring to stare into the pitch-black eyes of the charming Al.

Amera had closed her eyes as Al's face slowly approached. Even the man had already tilted his face so that their position was balanced. But a second later, Al regained his senses and immediately dismissed that thought. He quickly unlocked Amera's seatbelt and got out of his car.

Somehow, there was a feeling of a bit of disappointment when Al did not do something he should have. Amera felt like she had just been flown, then at the same time she was back on the ground. The woman immediately got out of the car to arrange her husband. Each of them now looks awkward.

From inside the house, Anna's mother welcomed someone who had just knocked on her door. His smile expanded so perfectly that it opened the door, and gave rise to Al and Amera there.

"Assalamu'alaikum, mah," Amera and Al greet Anna's mother in turn.

"Greetings walaikum. Finally you come too," said mama Anna glad, but instantly faded as she did not find the figure she was waiting for.

"Emm, Where is it? Ra, you said the same Can't you have dinner here with you?" Amera turned her head towards Al, their pair of eyes meeting.

"Yes, mah. I apologized to my mom because she couldn't come to dinner. Couldn't come because I have to keep my mom at home," Al's answer made Anna's mom a little disappointed.

"Oh, so. Yes, come on, come on! I've been waiting for you guys since."

Al and Amera said they went to the dining room following Anna's step. There, they greet papa Abdi. The big, burly man looked very happy when his daughter set foot back at home especially now with her husband. Without wasting any more time, they started their dinner.

In the middle of their dinner, Al asks permission to go to the toilet for a while. I asked where the toilet was.

"You're straight, mas, the toilet will be next to the corner. Do I need to take you?" bargain Amera.

Al also refused. "No, you continue to eat. I can do it myself."

Al stood up from his seat leaving the dining table.

"Ra, Mama can ask for help, right? Please get my mom's phone in the pantry! You forget you just finished cooking mama did not bring."

"It can be taken later, ma," said Papa Abdi.

"It's okay, pah. I'll take it first, yeah, mah."

Mama Anna nodded. "Yes." Yeah."

Al had just come out of the toilet and was about to return to the dining room. But his steps stopped when his eyes caught a small figura and there were photos of two children of different ages there.

Al approached the figura, then stared fixedly at one of the three-year-old children in the photo.

Why does this house have a picture of this child? ask Al in my heart.
