Chapter 3 Hell in the House

Anna came to see Robert in his study, the room was quite spacious and very neat. Only, the room was not comfortable enough because the color of the walls were black and the atmosphere was so awkward that it made Anna feel claustrophobic.

Robert walked over to Anna and told her to sit on the sofa.

"Sit down" said Robert,

Anna never thought of hearing the nonsense she heard from the old man's mouth.

"You know we're Bridd, your brother is Edwin Bridd, you're Annastasia Bridd, and I'm Robert Bridd. Your brother still uses the name Bridd, which means he's still in the Bridd family. You may not understand, but after everything happens you will understand" said Robert.

Robert was silent for a moment, taking a deep breath..

Anna looked shocked, and she still did not understand what Robert meant.

"I still don't understand this nonsense" Anna replied.

Anna kept silent for a moment, "What do you think, by being an ordinary person. Will you be able to take revenge?" ask Robert. "I could've killed him if I knew who the mastermind was. But don't you want to kill that person?" ask her again.

Anna was silent when she heard what Robert said, and she opened the door and left.

With shaky footsteps, Anna walked towards her room. His mind began to be filled with the words of his father.

"Actually what he was talking about was true, with my current status I have no way of knowing who killed Brother Edwin, I need a strong connection and protection. Because it must be very dangerous, "inner Anna.

Being too busy with his thoughts, he finally arrived at his room. He immediately threw his body on the bed. He was too tired to bathe and change his clothes, his mind still drifting about the great risks he would face if he were to get involved with this family, but he also still could not accept that his Big Brother died in such a tragic way.
