Chapter 2 The Old Man Kandungkah?

"Have you come?" laura asked, when Anna had arrived at the Bridd residence

"Yes, I just got to the mistress" Anna replied with a look of a not so comfortable face.

"From now on call me, ma'am. Okay?" adam Laura, Anna's birth mother.

"Well, mah," replied Anna briefly.

"Yes, you rest first. Later you will join a dinner together and meet your papah," said Laura.

"Please tell Anna's room" Laura ordered the maid beside her, and she left Anna in the living room.

"Let's go, lady, I'll take you to Miss Anna's room" said the maid.

Along the way to the room, there are many very strange sights. The sinister and tattooed people who wore black uniforms then immediately bowed each time they passed Anna, most of them men. And the figure of the woman can still be counted by the fingers.

"Who are they?" mumbling Anna

In every hallway they passed, so many weapons were on display. Starting from long swords, daggers, knives, pistols and many other forms of weapons that Anna does not know.

"What is this place? why so many weapons, more like a slaughterhouse," Anna's inner.

Arriving at the room that will be occupied by him, Anna immediately threw her body into the mattress after previously evicting the subtle steward of her mother.

"I'm more curious about this house" Anna muttered.

Still remembered by Anna, when the day she met her biological mother, which was right after the fourth day of her brother's funeral. An uninvited guest suddenly came to his house, and unceremoniously asked how Edwin died.

The guest is a woman with three men with a spooky face, perhaps called the guest bodyguard.

Anna explained in detail without missing a single story, and without tears flowing in her eyes.

After Anna told him everything, the woman nodded as if she knew the circumstances of the incident, just as she was in that place.

"Anna, I'm your mother" said the woman suddenly.

Anna who heard him could only shut up, and she thought that the woman was just joking around to comfort him.

Seeing that Anna's reaction was silent, the woman knew what Anna was thinking.

"I'm really your real mother, Anna," the woman said.

"No way, my parents died a few years ago," Anna snapped, Anna was very emotional at the time because she felt made a joke by the woman.

"I know, you definitely won't believe me. I have proof that you are indeed Annastasia" said the woman, and handed her a photograph and a DNA test to prove that she was her flesh and blood

The photo contains family photos, portrait photos with a husband and wife and a pair of children. Anna who saw it was very surprised, because the face of the child in the portrait was very similar to Anna and Edwin as a child.

"No way, my parents died 14 years ago!" answer Anna.

"You were taken away by your brother when you were 3, how can you remember me?" ask the woman.

"I've brought the evidence, what should I prove again? now that Edwin is gone, I'm worried about your safety here" she said.

"What's? what does security mean?" asked Anna with a very upset face.

The woman immediately sighed in despair, as if she did not know how else to explain her situation to her daughter.

"All right, now this is it. You come and stay with me, I'll explain to you slowly and prove that I'm your real parent" he said.

Anna thought for a moment, and agreed.

"All right, I'm going. I'll take care of my things in this house first" Anna said.

"Well," said Laura and left Anna.

Anna just wants to know the truth, even though her heart is devastated after learning her brother lied all along.

Tok tok tok. heard the sound of the door being knocked by someone.

Anna had just woken up from her sleep, after she recalled yesterday's events making her drowsy and accidentally fall asleep.

"Miss, are you inside? it's time for dinner" said a waitress who was knocking on her bedroom door.

"All right, I'm going down" replied Anna.

Anna rushed to change her clothes, without rinsing her body that had just woken up from an afternoon sleep.

After changing clothes, Anna was escorted by a female servant to the dining table.

Anna was really nervous and emotional about having to meet her parents.

After arriving at the dinner table, Anna sat down.

In the dining room, Anna only saw a middle-aged man who was less than 50 years old, and a woman who was none other than Laura.

"Are you Annastasia?" ask the old man.

"Yes, um," replied Anna.

"Don't call me your parents. I'm Robert, just call me papah, and later after you eat come to my office on the 2nd floor" Robert said without seeing Anastasia's face in the least, and just focus on the steak she cuts.

"Well, Dad," Anna answered briefly.

Anna immediately ate the food in the dining room.

After finishing the dinner, Anna rushed to leave the room and went to Robert's office.
