COLD

Sandy PoV's

She was so nervous that when I hooked her face, her dark lips slightly opened making me tempted to enjoy it. Good thing Alex came in and saved me, otherwise I would have done something I didn't deserve to do at the beginning of this relationship.

Along the way to the cafe he just kept quiet, I occasionally glanced at him but not in the slightest did he take his eyes off the road. Sometimes I don't understand his attitude. Sometimes he gives me a chance to be close to him but sometimes he gives me distance.

It is not easy to know his heart. She is not a woman who is open to everyone. I've tried to call her with affection but her reaction was mediocre.

When he arrived at the Zein cafe he came in just to get the keys to his car, it was what he said to thank him for delivering it and tell me to go home immediately.

Actually I still want to be with her, but seeing her seems uncomfortable with me after what I almost did to her, she said, or maybe he's still upset about the fact that he works at my company makes me reflect on my intentions.

"Sorry about yesterday" I said. He just shut up and left. His attitude makes me uncomfortable.

His car left the gate already far away and was nowhere to be seen. I don't know how I should behave to him now. Mery's voice resuscitated my daydream.

"Don't give Nayla time, Sandy don't give up" he said.

"Nayla is still afraid of being in a relationship because of her past sister"

Mery's words made me understand her condition and also encouraged me that there was the same feeling she felt as I did.

Nayla just got to her room. This morning the road to the school Princess more crowded than usual makes the journey a little longer.

Nayla remembered Sandy's apology, she sighed. It's not Sandy's fault, it's just that she is always in the shadow of Nuno's presence when with Sandy. The comfort that Sandy provides is the same as the comfort when with Nuno.

One by one they were present in the room. Now it's time for a meeting. Nayla hands over the design to Ine

"Kereeen, really simple and safe for children" Ine was satisfied with the results of Nayla's design.

"Now Fian's job is to design the furniture in detail" Ine said, handing files from Nayla to Fian.

"Can" Fian replied briefly after seeing the results of Nayla's design.

"But I need your help for more details" continued Fian.

"Ready Bang" replied Nayla.

The meeting switched to discussing the project report that David reviewed yesterday. There are few problems that make additional expenses, but they can still be addressed because the additional expenses are still under the unexpected funds set up.

For the construction of luxury homes there is no plan that fits the criteria still have to look for ideas again.

"I will help" Nayla said.

"You can draw it Nay" said Sofi, as she had run out of ideas

The meeting was over, Nayla had started scratching papers at her desk, without feeling it was time for a break.

There was no message from Sandy, it seemed like she had actually granted Nayla a request not to show their closeness.

Nayla, Sofi and Ine are waiting for the food they ordered at the company cafeteria. The place is quite spacious and the atmosphere is comfortable it is almost like a cafe to attract employees to eat there rather than eating out.

"Nay, you want to see our boss" Ine whispered.

"He's here, look there" Ine pointed to Nayla's left.

Following the direction Ine Nayla pointed to turned her face. He saw Sandy sitting with Alex with a cold face without the usual warmth when with Sandy.

"That's our same boss Alex, handsome yeah, it's cold" Ine said.

Nayla continued to look at Sandy as if Sandy had one heart and looked at Nayla, her face flat without expression. Their eyes met, Nayla felt guilty for her cold attitude towards Sandy from yesterday afternoon until this morning.

"Don't look at it, he doesn't like it when anyone notices it" Sofi said.

Their order has come and is ready to eat, Nayla chose her favorite menu hodgepodge this afternoon.

Ting. The notification sound on the Nayla phone reads

Sandy [Be careful to eat it don't choke]

Nayla smiles at the message Sandy sent. He again saw where Sandy was just talking through the eyes and smiled back at the message Sandy sent.

Only Sandy's eyes returned Nayla's gaze while her face remained with her cold face.
