Astapura

After fourteen days of sailing, the entourage of King Daneswara arrived at the port of Astapura. They leaned Dwipajaya's ship to the port of Astapura.

At the port, King Daneswara's entourage was greeted by King Sri Narendra and his bodyguards, as well as Utari and her husband Sri Rama.

“Greetings King Daneswara, welcome to Astapura”, said King Sri Narendra, clenching his hands together in his chest.

King Daneswara did the same, and returned the greeting of King Sri Narendra.

“I came with my daughter Gayatri” said King Daneswara while introducing his daughter.

“You are very lucky to have a beautiful daughter” King Sri Narendra told King Daneswara.

Gayatri returned the greeting of King Sri Narendra, while blushing in shame.

King Sri Narendra took King Daneswara's entourage to the royal palace of Astapura.

They boarded a horse-drawn carriage and were paraded towards the palace.

“My sister is welcome to Astapura” Utari told Gayatri

“This place is very beautiful” said Gayatri who saw the beauty of the road to the palace through the horse carriage window.

“The memorial service will be held in two weeks, how about you and I look around the city of Astapura”, said Utari enthusiastically

“Of course it's a good idea. I can't wait to see the beauty of this city”

Gayatri's eyes sparkled to imagine the city of Astapura that he would visit.

“We are almost there, prepare yourself” Utari said as soon as they arrived at the palace gate.

“We will be welcomed by Suri's mother-in-law”

Gayatri confirmed her clothes and hair. He wanted to give a good impression at the first meeting with the palace family.

The horse-drawn carriage stopped right in front of the palace, parallel to the other horse-drawn carriage.

Utari helps Gayatri get off the train. They were joined by King Daneswara, Sri Rama, and King Sri Narendra together to greet the mother of Suri and Lakshita, the Wife of King Sri Narendra.

“Who is this beautiful princess?” said Suri's mother while extending her hand to touch Gayatri's chin.

“This is the youngest daughter of King Daneswara” said King Sri Narendra

The Queen Mother looked at Gayatri in admiration.

“Nusantara women have a distinctive beauty, I do not mind if the daughter-in-law of Nusantara increases in this family” said Suri's mother.

“You are too praising Ratu”'s mother Gayatri said politely.

“Look! even said very graceful” Ibu Suri again praised Gayatri.

Everyone who heard Suri's mother's words smiled while Gayatri's face was red.

“Let us have prepared

dishes and resting places” Queen Lakshita invites her guests in.

After eating together, each of them bids to the resting place. Utari helped Gayatri bring her things.
