Kanata and grandfather walked into the city gate

"Say, is there a place you want to go?" ask grandpa

"I don't know anything about this town, so I don't know where. But kanata was eager to see the fountain in the city hall as grandfather told, surrounding there is a flower garden that is many and colorful" replied Kanata

"It's early afternoon, we'll eat first by the fountain and then go to your grandmother's house" he said

The grandmother referred to by the grandfather was his wife, he worked as a teacher at the magic academy in the capital and this month he was on vacation. Kanata met her grandmother until she was 6 years old, who nurtured Kanata from infancy to teaching Kanata to read. Although Kanata is not their grandchild, they treat her as they treat their grandchildren. Kanata feels that she does not need to know who her real parents are or her grandparents, enough they both have enough to be her family.

They reached the middle of the city and there was a fountain with a statue of a dragon that spouted water up with a garden around the fountain. The place was very crowded and filled with people who enjoyed the atmosphere there.

"The place is very cool and soothing" Kanata said

"Here used to be used by people who date, young people today like that. Grandpa's son gets his partner here." said grandfather

This city is called the adventurer city because of the famous adventurer guild here. The guild was called fairy heart. There grandfather will introduce Kanata with his adventurer friend who will teach Kanata some basic fairy techniques. Grandfather had taught Kanata the basics of dragon martial arts and some sword techniques.

They visited the kebab shop on the east side of the park, they ordered 2 spicy kebabs. Grandpa knew Kanata was strong enough to eat spicy food like him, so he did not hesitate to buy spicy ones without asking Kanata. Grandpa gave Kanata a pack of kebabs, too,

"Grandfather, what is this?" ask Kanata

"It's a kebab, kebab here is delicious and grandfather always visit here with grandfather's friends after doing the mission" replied the grandfather

"Are you interested in how to make it?" ask grandpa

Kanata nodded with the food still in her mouth.

The sun began to sink, they also arrived in front of a house that had a wide enough depth with a two-story house whose lights had been lit. Grandpa opened the gate with the key brought and the light in the garden was lit up showing a beautiful garden.

" It's been a long time" said grandfather reminiscing about the past

They knocked on the door, then came rushing footsteps towards the door. The door opened and without a black-haired adult woman with her hair tied up, she immediately hugged Grandpa and called him "Dad". Grandfather returned his warm embrace, he also introduced Kanata to him, he pinched Kanata's cheek while saying

" You must be Kanata who is called the father in the letter, you are so cute" he said

He let them in and came a white haired grandmother in house clothes. He hugged his grandfather and Kanata

"You guys look like sauce, it looks like you're taking a walk in the city first huh" said the grandmother

Grandma's kiss was so great, she immediately guessed without asking.

"Let's go in for dinner, it must be exhausting to travel far" he said

At the dinner table there are 2 adult men and 2 girls. One of the men is the son of grandfather and the other is the son-in-law and 2 grandchildren grandfather.One of the other women came from the kitchen to put a bowl of salad, he is also grandfather's son-in-law. They welcomed Kanata like their own family.
