CHAPTER 36 Saving the Girl in Trouble

Lu Ming had killed at least ten Level Six First Grade demonic beasts before this and there were high-value metal pieces on some of them.

He had five two-point metal pieces and three one-point metal pieces, totalling 13 points.

He also got a total of 12 points from Wei Ziyou and the rest.

Lu Ming now had 25 points that were enough for him to upgrade to a Bronze apprentice.

With a hundred to one chance of getting first place, an increase alone was not enough for him. The first winner will be awarded the Spirit Condensation Fruit prize.

He would fight for it with all his might even though he was currently trailing far in terms of points.

Lu Ming made full use of his Dragon Serpent Steps and broke through the forest. He headed straight for the demonic beast that had a fine piece of metal, skipping all the ordinary demonic beasts.

As night fell, he obtained a single-point metal piece and a two-point metal piece which made it a total of 28 points.

Suddenly, Lu Ming heard the sound of a fight near where he was.

'There's someone there.'

Lu Ming could faintly see the flickering flame light ahead through the canopy of trees from which the sound came.

'Let's see!' He moved towards the campfire in front and saw four people near the campfire: Feng Wu, Yuan Chong, Zhou Hao, and Zhou Xu.

However, things were not as he expected.

Zhou Hao and Zhou Xu were lying limp on the ground, their faces deathly pale.

Feng Wu unsheathed his sword, but his body trembled. His face had the same white color while his eyes were filled with anger as he stared intently at Yuan Chong. “Yuan Chong, why did you poison the meat?” he growls.

With his sword unsheathed and an arched expression, Yuan Chong sneered, “Why?! Feng Wu, you*****, I chased you non-stop for the past two years. Why don't you accept me?! You even yelled at me because Lu Ming b*stard was before this. I've had enough!

“You have now been poisoned by my Fragrant Unscented Tissue Paralysis Drug. Let's see how you'll fight it! I will make you my woman today, haha!”

Feng Wu's face turned furious as he shouted, “How dare you, Yuan Chong!? Big brother Mu Lan will make you pay for this after the exam is over!”

“Mu Lan? Hehe. The woman****** that sooner or later will become a toy of the Duanmu Family. Also, do you think you will leave this place alive?!” Yuan Chong sneered.

“Are you going to kill us ?!” Feng Wu stuttered. He could barely stand up straight as he struggled to maintain his balance.

“Heh heh, Feng Wu, I will take care of you personally after I 'keep' you, so you will only be mine,” Yuan Chong sneered.

“You... pervert!” Feng Wu's face was as pale as death. Shaking, he fell to the ground.

“Senior brother Yuan, don't kill me! Whatever. Take your time with Feng Wu. I promise I won't bring up anything that happened today!” Zhou Hao cried.

“I too, Senior Brother Yuan! I swear I will die a painful death if I say something!” Zhou Xu added.

“Unfortunately, I believe that the dead are the best secret keepers.” Yuan Chong walked towards Zhou Hao and Zhou Xu with a sinister smile on his face.

“No, noooo, have mercy on me!” they both screamed in great fear.

Cut it! Cut it!

“Now, just you and me.” He then turned around and walked towards Feng Wu.

"You don't!" Feng Wu's face was deathly pale as he fearfully tried to retreat backwards. Unfortunately, he was barely able to move his limbs after being poisoned by the Fragrant Unscented Tissue Calamity Drug.

Excitement filled Yuan Chong's heart as he looked at the crippled Feng Wu. He walked to his side and grabbed his arm.

Riiiiiips! Debris was flying everywhere.

“Death to a terrible death, filthy beast bottom!” Feng Wu shouted in despair. At that moment, he was desperate. He treated Yuan Chong like a friend, so he naturally did not expect him to be such a monster.

He should have enjoyed life, especially his youth, but he would have died here. Besides, he'll be defiled before he dies. Feng Wu wanted to end it right then and there.

“This place is very remote. Do you think someone will save you?” Yuan Chong sneered at Feng Wu as he leaped towards him.

Just then, a voice sounded, “Sorry, my apology.”

Worried, Yuan Chong turned his head after hearing the voice. Feng Wu was overjoyed as hope shone in his eyes. Both of them stared intently at the direction where the voice came from.

“Lu Ming!”

"That's you!"

Yuan Chong and Feng Wu exclaimed at the same time.

With his hands folded, Lu Ming stepped towards them with a faint smile on his face and said to Yuan Chong, “What? Disappointed to see me alive?”

“I am a little disappointed. You survived the Duanmu Family and Wei Ziyou. Too bad you are a fool.”

“Since you escaped, you should have found yourself cornered and hiding like a dog until the exam was over. Instead, you are here. Wh why? Are you going to play the hero and save the troubled girl, you piece of trash? Ha ha ha!" Yuan Chong chuckled as killing intent flashed in his eyes.

“Lu Ming, why are you here? Quick, go now. You are no match for Yuan Chong.” Feng Wu had expectations when he saw someone find them, but those expectations turned into despair when he realized that it was Lu Ming.

“Senior brother Feng Wu, I am very firm with my gratitude and grudges. I will reply to him according to that. You once helped me with Wei Ziyou, so I will repay his kindness now by saving your life.” Lu Ming smiled.

"Save her? Lu Ming, you scum, how can you save him?” Yuan Chong laughed.

“Of course with my fist!” Lu Ming's face hardened as he swung his fist towards Yuan Chong.

"Do you want to die?" Yuan Chong brandished his palm and attacked Lu Ming. He would increase Feng Wu's despair by destroying Lu Ming's cultivation. Only that would increase his excitement.

Unfortunately, ideals are not reality. When his palm collided with Lu Ming's fist, he felt a huge burst of Essential Qi from the fist that immediately dissolved his Essential Qi.

A bone-chilling pain appeared on his arm. Yuan Chong shouted as he was forced to retreat. “Master Nature?! Impossible! How are you doing at the Master Realm, Lu Ming?” he screamed in disbelief.

“Master Nature?” Feng Wu's eyes shone full of hope as he watched what had happened.

“Yuan Chong, I told you I'd beat you in two months. Well, it looks like I only need half a month.” Lu Ming grinned coldly.

“Why beat me? Don't even think about it! Go to hell!" Yuan Chong shouted furiously as great intent to kill shone in his eyes. He raised his sword and charged towards Lu Ming.

Lu Ming and Feng Wu must die. Otherwise, when the exam was over, his journey in the Mystical Sword Sect would be over as well.
