Dowager Bohay
Meet Jamal

As promised, Djiwa invites Roses to meet with Jamal. Jamal's request to apologize directly to Rose so that his heart was more relieved and the guilt in him was slightly reduced.

"You're strong, aren't you?" ask Djiwa.

The rose nodded, the smile on his face etched even though his heart was pounding. Meeting the man who had slandered her so cruelly, was she ready?

"If you are not strong, do not be forced" said Djiwa. He noticed the change in the face of the Roses that looked paler as they waited for Jamal to come.

"I'm strong, Mom. I've been trying hard. You take it easy" said the Rose.

"Really?" ask Djiwa again.

"Just calm down." The rose grasped the hand of the soul, feeling warm and protective as ever. "I'm doing fine. Just as Mas Jamal was willing to let go of a bit of his guilt, I also want to let go of a bit of bad memories in the past by forgiving."

"God, dear God, your heart is really good. Replying to the evil of others with good. How lucky I am to have a wife as good as you" praised Djiwa.

The conversation between Djiwa and Roses came to a halt when the prison guards escorted Jamal. Jamal's face was embarrassed. He sat across from the rose and was still silent for a while.

Djiwa gave Jamal a little time to prepare himself. Until finally Jamal began to speak even though stammering.

"Ma-war, what's ka-bar?" jamal asked still lowered his head.

"Good, Mas."

Jamal was silent again. The rose is like that too. Djiwa won't interfere. Let them solve their own problems.

"Ma-af .. I'm sorry, Rose." Jamal started sobbing. "Sorry." Her tears are starting to wash over her face.

"Sorry, Mom. They are evil with you." Jamal covered his face with both palms. "Mas has sinned with you. I have done dzolim. Mum .. wrong."

Djiwa pulled out a tissue from Rose's handbag and gave it to Jamal. Jamal took the tissue and wiped his tears that dripped did not stop.

"Either in what way can Mas wash away the sins of Mas just like you. What Mas did has made you pay for mistakes you didn't make .. hiks ... Sorry, Rose." Jamal's crying broke again.

The eyes of the Rose that had been glazed over since then were now not strong enough to hold it anymore. Roses also shed tears. Flashes of past stories flashed in the Rose's mind. The death of Mas Purnomo who never thought Roses, the shadow of the body of Mas Purnomo rigid with foam coming out of his mouth.

The rose also recalled how the entire populace had accused him of being a murderer. Their hateful gaze upon seeing the Rose and the feeling of being denied her existence. It all seems to play back in the minds of the Roses. Like a trauma that is hard to lose.

Fear of Roses when they have to crouch behind bars. The attitude of the prisoners who at the beginning came to treat him badly but when they knew the truth of the story instead treated the Rose like a family of his own.

Now all the misunderstandings that have occurred so far are clear. Djiwa succeeded in making the wrong perpetrator accept the consequences of his actions. Djiwa managed to make the name of the rose clean again.

"I'm sorry, Rose. What I did to you is so wrong. I slandered when I killed Purnomo with my hand. I'm a cruel friend who killed his own best friend. I am inferior to an animal. Forgive my mistake, Rose. I don't want to die guilt-ridden. If heaven is not my place, at least I got a little apology from you. I don't want to live with guilt forever. Let me take off a little, so that I can serve my punishment more sincerely." Jamal stood up and suddenly knelt beside the Rose.

With a trembling voice and tears in his eyes, Jamal begged for the forgiveness of the Roses. All eyes were staring at Jamal. They wondered what had happened.

"Mas, don't be like this. Awake up!" Roses tried to get Jamal back in his place.

"Mas sinned with you, Rose. Forgive Mas's mistake, Rose," Jamal said in a hoarse voice.

"I. .. have forgiven Mas Jamal. Arise" said the Rose with a sincere heart. He is willing to untie the painful past and wants to start a new life of calm.

Jamal did not stand up. She's still crying. "Thank you, Rose. Thank you." Thank you."

"How are you feeling now?" ask Djiwa when they have left the field. The soul drove the car and the Rose stared out the window blankly.

"It feels relieved and there is a heavy burden lifted" replied the Rose.

Djiwa. He was proud of the Rose who would be proud to forgive Jamal who had much to denounce him.

"You're great. If I'm in your position, I can't forgive Jamal. It's hard for Jamal to admit wrongdoing and apologize but I know it's even harder for you to forgive all his mistakes. All the bad shadows of the past must come back. It takes courage to be at peace with yourself. You've already passed it. I'm sure your life will be peaceful from now on." The soul smiled and gently rubbed the Rose's hair.

The little smiling rose. "You're right, Mas. I am more peaceful now. I can make peace with the past. No more questions, why do I have to go through all this? Why do I always suffer? I am sincere now. Without this suffering, there is no way I can be found and get a good man like you? It was like I got a big reward for all the misfortune I experienced, that gift was you, Mas. The good guy who fought for me. Cleansing me from a stain that does not come from my hand but from someone else's. I realized, the truth will find its own way as long as we want to work, because without any effort the truth will be covered by black fog. Thank you for letting me see the black fog in my life."

Djiwa grabbed the Rose's hand and kissed it gently. "Thank you back, honey. You have given me a different life. A more beautiful life because I appreciate what I have. I also appreciate the people around me. All because of you. You are the great woman God sent in my life. I think I should thank Aksa. If he didn't send me in shorts with no money and no cell phone, how could I know you."

"Destiny, Honey. I also did not expect that you would be my soul mate. Who would have thought the hypnotized young man turned out to be a young businessman, a rich businessman? How innocent I told you to have chicken feathers every day, honey."

The Rose and the Soul laughed together. Remembering the beginning of their meeting. The laughter disappeared as they reached a place that had once harbored wounds.

"You ready?"
