"Dad, wake up let's pray in congregational dawn." Aslan said slowly. He tried to make Aisyah's eyes open, but was confused as to how.
Aslan swallowed his saliva then brought the face closer to Aisyah.
"Dad, dawn." He quietly whispered in Asiyah's ear. His hands began to palpate, gently caressing the head of Aisyah who was still wrapped in pasmina cloth.
Aisyah was aghast due to the gusts in her ears. He shuddered amusedly and then shuffled open his net. Both eyes are light brown in color. His face was red because the distance between him and Aslan was so close. Aisyah never imagined that her husband would change so quickly. This was too fast for what he had imagined. It only took a few hours for him and Aslan to become a full-fledged married couple.
Aisyah gave a smile, then rolled her eyes teasing Aslan without making a sound. Not ashamed she was singing lips hoping her husband would be sensitive then kissed her.
"Dad."
"Dad."
"Aisha."
Aisha was horrified to hear someone shout her name so many times. Now her tiny body is under the bed. Half conscious, he moved then rubbed his thigh in pain.
Aisyah snorted in annoyance because what had just happened was just a dream. Aslan was standing far away from his body.
"Udah dawn, dawn is gone. Cepet take water wudlu, trus we pray together." Aslan said carefully without looking towards Aisyah.
Aisyah smiled. Although Aslan had shortcomings, at least Aslan was a priest figure that Aisha had longed for.
Aisha was moved to hear the melodious chanting of the holy verse of the Qur'an flowing beautifully from the thin lips of her husband. Her tears are puffing. I don't know why suddenly his chest was so tight.
"Assalamualaikum warahmatullah"
"Assalamualaikum warahmatullah"
Aslan looked back. He realized the sadness his wife felt, but was confused what to do. Even to let his wife kiss the back of his hand he could not.
"Sorry Aisha if our marriage only gives you a wound in your heart."
Aslan rubbed his face rough. He is very frustrated with his current situation.
Aisyah shakes. Aslan's words made her cry even more broken. He kept his head down and kept his hands cupped to his face.
Aslan could not bear to see his wife's tears. Even now the water is on his right left cheek.
"You can blaspheme me as you please, but I really love you." Aslan's voice trembled, sounding extremely surrender.
"Egoist gate. Nothing should be covered up in a marriage."
"If I tell you the truth, you won't let me question you, Aisha."
Aisyah beristighfar heard her husband's last words. Of course, it was not just her woman who would refuse to be married by someone with this kind of strange phobia. If only Aslan is a chronic disease, maybe Aisyah can still sincerely accept it.
"I'm sorry, Ayesha." Aslan pasrah. He went out of the room leaving Aisyah alone in her slump.
...O Allah, O hope of those who long....
...Prepare for me a portion of your great mercy....
...Guide me to Your light teachings, and guide me and my husband to Your loving willingness....
Aisha raised her hands, honoured the almighty. He let the clear details continue to fall from both of his own net.
