Don't Touch Me, Aisyah

Don't Touch Me, Aisyah
First Night

Aisyah slowly inserted the key then turned it around. Her face was met red imagining the beautiful things she would dive into as a newlywed. She turned her body and stared at her husband. Water was pooling in both of his eyes. Today she is the happiest woman in the world and tonight she will be a wife.

He slowly stepped towards Aslan. His smile did not come off the tip of his lips.

"Assalamualaikum, Brother." Soft talk.

"Getishalight." Aslan replied stammered with a trembling voice. He looks very upset. Maybe because all this time he had never lived side by side with women so he was confused when the first time he had to be both in one room with his wife, Aisyah.

Aisyah got closer and sat down next to Aslan. His hand was about to grab Aslan's hand and kiss him with reverence. He ducked, but the hand he was about to reach did not find. Without raising his head he groped what was in front of him.

He looked up a little and found Aslan folding both hands on his chest. Aisyah was upset, did her husband deliberately do that to tease her. Or Aslan did not realize that Ayesha was about to kiss his hand.

But what is possible, Aisyah even ducked. It was impossible for Aisyah to do that without any intention.

Aisyah tried to khusnudzon then re-launched the action. She raised her hand hoping that her husband would be sensitive and then grabbed his right hand.

But Aslan did not budge, she still folded her hands in front of her chest.

Aisha was getting upset. She moved closer to her husband's body.

Unexpectedly Aslan even slightly shifted his butt. Aisyah frowned not understanding all this. Aslan was avoiding him.

Aisyah did not run out of sense, she continued to follow what her husband did, shifting their bodies almost to the edge of the bed.

Aslan who was already full of sweat increasingly avoided. His hands were cold and his tongue was thick.

Aisyah did not understand the attitude of the man who a few hours ago had just become her husband. But he was undaunted, there was no longer any gap for Aslan. He had no room to escape. For a moment he shifted, his body would fall.

Only Aisyah would move her body, Aslan had already blocked her using one palm.

"Stop, stop right there." His speech stammered.

Aisha was getting clueless. Aslan should be happy because Aisyah has taken the initiative to approach him first.

Aisyah did not heed Aslan's words and shifted her body again. As fast as lightning Aslan stood away from him.

"Don't come any closer." Aslan said as he walked back with a tense face. Cold sweat just kept wetting his forehead and palms.

Aisyah was undaunted. It is not that retreating is becoming. Now she stood up and stood down her husband.

Aslan was drunk, he had already reached the corner of the room. There was no place for him to run.

He closed his eyes, fearing that Aisha would touch him.

"Please Aisyah stop there." Now even his back was wet from fear.

"Believe it or not I have Hephephobia." Aslan said hesitantly. He crossed his hands like a man afraid of being stained.

Aisyah snorted annoyed at her husband's words. There may be people who have haphephobia. All this time he only knew if there was such a person but had never seen him in person.

Aslan nodded in the same position.

"Only women." Its effects.

Aisyah threw out her rough breathing increasingly distrusting her husband's behavior.

"Maybe this morning even Brother kissed my forehead in front of the ruler."

"I didn't really kiss your forehead. I smell the cloth that covers it."

"I mean my hijab brother? But I kissed Brother's hand. How would you explain it?"

"The two of us are wearing Aisyah's gloves, you forgot?"

Aisyah rotated her eyes recalling every scene this morning. True what Aslan said, they both wore gloves.

"Well how can we both have children, if you can't touch your brother?" Said Aisyah getting closer to Aslan's face. Both of his eyeballs stared intently at Aslan.

Aslan swallowed his saliva roughly hearing Aisyah's chatter. He thought the same thing. But what to say, being this close to Aisyah alone makes her heart jump.

The soft roar of Aisyah's breath she could feel on her face. He was getting nervous and his mouth kept on clenching.

"Do Abi and Umi Abang know?" Aisyah asked. He did not move a single inch from his position letting Aslan continue to hold his breath and close his eyes tightly.

Aslan nodded because that was the reality.

"So you all set me up?" Aisyah shaking her waist was aware of her condition. How could Abi Hamdan whom he respected so much lie to him all this time. Even in his taaruf proposal he did not find Aslan's shortcomings a little.

Aslan. That's true said Aisyah. But he didn't mean to trap Asiyah in this marriage. He really wanted Aisha as his wife. It was just that his lack of it made him unable to do anything.

"Well, let's prove whether what you're saying is a truth or a lie."

Aisyah swallowed her rough saliva. She then moved her face towards her husband.

"Bismilahirrahmanirrahim." Said loudly. As fast as lightning Aisyah landed a gentle kiss on Aslan's cheek.

Aslan collapsed. The vibration caused by the actions of Asiyah made her knees not strong to concentrate her earthquake body.

Aisyah frowned. He looked at the husband's limp body. He shook his head to watch the tall man faint.

Aisyah was silent for a while thinking about the step she should take next. Was he going to let Aslan lay on the floor just like that until morning.

Aisyah snorted annoyedly. He gnawed at Aslan's legs and then took pains to carry the body that weighed almost twice as much as his tiny body onto the bed. Aisyah took off her husband's shoes and threw them away.

Now he sits on the lip of the bed. He could not hide his extremely annoyed expression. She kept looking back at the innocent face of her husband. This was not the first night he had ever imagined. How could the bridegroom pass out at a time like this.
