42. Jacob was not happy.

Naomi had not realized that a pair of eyes were looking at her from earlier with a sharp gaze, not turning anywhere looking at her to serve some shop customers who were buying bread.

When Naomi looked at the door, she realized that the pair of eyes were looking at her.

And, to Naomi's surprise of course, Jacob's sharp eyes looked at her unblinking.

"Sister..!" he muttered with a shocked face.

Jacob quickly walked over, and suddenly made Naomi take a step back.

"Why are you here.explain it to me!" Jacob stood in front of Naomi.

"I.I..!" Naomi got nervous, she lied to Jacob.

"So you said there was business with a friend.the night just came home, is this what the business is called?" asked Jacob sharply.

"I plan tonight to explain to you, brother.Why do you know I'm here?" naomi asked back, she tried to soften Jacob's angry heart.

"If it wasn't for my client promising to meet a fast food cafe across the street, I wouldn't have known you were working at a bakery!" jacob said still in an angry tone.

"Sorry brother.I was wrong, I want to work sis.make my own money, time in the village I also work part-time also for my tuition, so I want to get my own money for my allowance, sister.no other means!" naomi explained.

Jacob pressed his temple, not expecting Naomi to need pocket money.

"Why don't you tell me you need pocket money.I can give it to you if you need it!" said Jacob.

"No brother.I want to work alone, I have to be independent!"

"Naomi.you are now my responsibility, whatever your needs.I will fulfill, no need to work!" jacob said in an annoyed tone.

Jacob feels that Naomi doesn't want his help, and doesn't want to get any closer to him.

"I want to be independent and I want to be responsible with myself!" naomi explained.

"I can give you anything.You just say it, I will give it!" Jacob was getting annoyed by what Naomi said.

The store manager saw Jacob talking to Naomi coming closer, he was astonished to see Jacob seemingly scolding Naomi.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" ask the store manager kindly.

"This is my sister-in-law Madam.no problem!" sahut Naomi explained to the manager of the bakery.

"Oh.I think there's a problem!" the store manager said, then left Jacob and Naomi.

"Let's go home.Don't work anymore!" jacob grabbed Naomi's hand.

"No brother.I want to work, I've signed a contract of employment, can't just go out!" Naomi held back the hand Jacob pulled.

"Well then.later we will talk again!" jacob said, then left the bakery.

Naomi breathed a sigh of relief, and resumed her work. He'll be ready tonight to talk to Jacob again.

"What are you riding home on?" linda asked Naomi as she walked out of the store.

"Relax cab" Naomi said.

"I was picked up by the driver, or.how about I take you home first?" ask Linda.

Tin! tin! tin!

Not to mention Naomi replied, the sound of a car horn on the side of the road.

"That's probably your car coming to pick you up!" sahut Naomi saw a black luxury car parked on the side of the road.

"That's not my Papa's car!" linda said seeing the car, she certainly recognized her father's car.

But that's not his father's car.

Tin! tin! tin!

The car horn sounded.

"The car is very noisy.don't the bad guys want to catch the girls.ayo quickly walk to a crowded place!" naomi pulls Linda's hand.

"Naomi..!!" a voice called out to Naomi's name.

"Eh. The guy in the car called your name!" linda stopped her steps.

They both turn to the car that seems to be walking slowly on the side of the road, because Naomi and Linda suddenly walk quickly want to go from there.

The car's glass dropped slowly wider, and Jacob's face was seen inside the car.

"Sister..!" sahut Naomi.

"That's the Master who came to the bakery this afternoon!" linda said as soon as she saw Jacob's face.

"Yes.he's my sister-in-law!" naomi said, "It turns out I was picked up.You're okay I'm staying?" ask Naomi to Linda.

"Yes, it's okay.Go, see you tomorrow on campus!"

"Yes, I'll see you tomorrow!" Naomi then rushes towards Jacob's car.

As soon as Naomi approached, Jacob got out of the car, and opened the door for Naomi to get into the car.

Only then did Jacob climb up again, and closed the door with a slight bang.

Makes Naomi flinch a little out of shock.
