Don't Forget Me (Forget-Me-Not)

Chapter 1

The sound of an alarm awakens Cass from a dream that has been with him lately. The dream that made him remember the beautiful and bitter memories that he really wanted to forget. Cassidy raised her left hand and with the back of her hand, she closed her eyes again.

His hunting breath roar slowly began to weaken. For some reason, these few days he had always dreamed of that man. A man who used to be so important in his life. As the man's face began to flood his mind, Cassidy opened her eyes again and quickly got up and sat down on the bed, shaking her head. Trying to throw away the shadow of the man who had never managed to forget.

Mondays. It was the day he hated the most. The day he had to get up early and return to his boring routine after two days of lazing around. With her eyes half-opened, Cass pulled her foot up and walked towards the bathroom. Get ready to get back to his super busy life.

It's been five years since Cassidy moved out of her parents' house. At first he felt lonely. But over time he felt his own life was no less fun.

Cassidy's father wanted him to continue their family company. But unfortunately, Cassidy was never interested in leading a company. Especially large companies like his family. He rejected it completely.

His family company is one of the leading companies in Indonesia. They have many branches spread all over Indonesia. You could say, he was born with a rich family.

Half an hour was the accumulation of time it took Cassidy to finish bathing, dressing and dressing up.

Cass stood in front of the mirror watching his appearance. Satisfied with her hair, makeup and clothes, Cassidy smiled broadly.

Karina Felisa is Cassidy's best friend from High School. Her best friend is beautiful, smart, fashionable but a little shy with strangers.

"Lo why use the event nebeng all? Honestly aja. I know your car didn't enter the workshop." Cass looked back at Karin suspiciously.

"Cassidy is my beautiful and kind friend. Gini. Lo tell me tomorrow my work place is welcoming party that..." Karin hanging.

"Hmm, just keep the same connection with my car, what?"

"Well, this special event was arranged for the welcome of my new co-worker."

"Okok, chill out missy. I want to take me to that show. You know I'm the one who's really getting bored. Please, you want to?" Persuade Karin with a face of blemish.

"Have a girlfriend, right? Take your girlfriend. I'm sure Jo will be happy with your nemanin lo."

"Jo who does ll Cass mean? I don't know his name Jo." Karin pretended to be confused.

"Be careful, I don't know anymore."

Cassidy believes that Karin and Jo, her boyfriend, are in a cold war.

"Ckckck, make a mistake, let alone Jo?"

"I'm not in the mood. It will be later." Karin opened the Cassidy refrigerator and then took out a bottle of mineral water, "So how, you want me to go? Come on Cass, help me. This once. Plissp..."

"Where are you, Kar..."

"Plisss, the beautiful and meek Cassidy was also fond of saving."

"Terasah lo aja deh. This time I helped you." Cass agreed to Karin's call.

"Thankyu fluettt, Cass. That's my best friend who knows me the most. The best anyway." Shouted Karin happily.

"By the way Davin was back when to Jakarta?" Karin asked while leaning her body on the sofa.

Davin is Cassidy's boyfriend. He is now in London on a job. Davin works at his family's company. He served as CEO. His family company is also one of the leading companies in Indonesia. Davin is the son of his father's business partner.

"Yesterday malem was right when he called, he said tomorrow"

"Ohh..."

"Will you sit there?" cass asked after picking up his car keys at the kitchen counter.

"Is it ready?" Karin stood up.

"Yep."

Cassidy opened the door of her beloved red Honda Yaris. This car he bought last year using his savings while working as a lawyer. He prefers to use a car bought in his own sweat rather than a jazz honda parked in his parents' garage.

"Lo go straight to the hospital or what?" Cass started the engine.

"Live the hospital alone" said Karin checking her cellphone.

Karin is a pediatrician. He just finished taking his S2 in the pediatric field. Karin's fondness for children made her choose to become a pediatrician.

After driving Karin, Cassidy went straight to his office. Cassidy works at one of the most well-known law firms in Indonesia. His kind nature, hardworking, optimistic, not easy to give up and friendly make him much liked by the community and its clients. The cases that are often given to Cassidy 80% are usually successfully handled.

Co-worker Cass, greet him as he passes them. Arriving at his room, Cassidy opened his laptop and checked his email. Clients often send information by email if they are busy and cannot see Cassidy directly. While Cassidy was busy reading emails from her clients, she did not realize that someone was watching her.

"You're Ad, if you go in the door first why." Cass said after finding out who the owner of the voice surprised him.

"Already, Cass. You are a budek. I've been stuck since then until my hand hurts, you don't look..." Adrian blamed Cass.

Adrian was one of Cassidy's co-workers. He's a good lawyer in every case. Despite being young, Adrian is very serious about his work.

Smart, handsome and rich, all owned Adrian. You could say, Adrian is the type of man every woman dreams. But unfortunately, Adrian is Playboy Cap Crocodile. Cassidy cut Adrian off quickly before Adrian finished his sentence, "Can I not, Ad? In the morning, your work gave me a headache. What do you want anyway?"

"Want me? I just want to get my favorite ex." Adrian grinning.
