Scholarship

Early in the morning Dhyanda went to Imel's house. He asked his best friend to drive him to school to see the Headmaster.

"Now we're free, Dhy! Why did the captain suddenly tell Lo to go to school early in the morning? and I involved who do not know anything" said Imel who was not sincerely asked for help.

"Gue doesn't know either, Mel. Yesterday the homeroom teacher contacted me, he said I was asked to hold the secretary because there was something important today" replied Dhyanda.

"Emang should be early in the morning huh? before the bell comes in? chief didn't tell us to go to XII class again, did he?" imel said upset and successful made Dhyanda laugh out loud.

"Not so, Mel. Except if we didn't pass UN yesterday" said Dhyanda.

Imel shook his shoulders, then followed Dhyanda's steps towards the principal's room.

.

"Well sir, I got a scholarship to Tunasjaya University?" dhyanda's eyeballs were unexpected when Mr. Kamil informed and submitted an invitation letter from the campus concerned.

"Yes, Dhyanda. You're really lucky. Because at this school only you get it. Scholarships from start to finish if your achievements are stable meet the standard" said the middle-aged man who is very respected at this school.

Imel sat down next to Dhyanda. His little heart was a little envious because luck was always on Dhyanda's side which was basically a smart girl and had proud achievements. Unimaginable elite campuses such as Tunasjaya offer scholarships to Dhyanda.

"But sir, I plan to join UTBK-SBMPTN. My mother still wished I could go to college at UI" said Dhyanda confidently.

Mr. Kamil smiled, "Father knows you're pinter. We must be optimistic, but the name of the state college entrance exam is difficult easy. And it is undeniable that in addition to the intelligence factor, passing the entrance exam of PTN is greater than the luck factor" he said giving an idea that Dhyanda has a second alternative to his education.

"I agree!" imel began to comment. "Former PTN exam is indeed a standard for smart children, because public universities are considered more qualified, cheaper, so must compete to get into it. but I think now for sure SBMPTN is not the only one, if it fails is also not the end of the world. There are still many good and quality PTS one of which is Tunasjaya" said Imel excited.

Dhyanda was wide-eyed to hear Imel's comments which he thought needed to be thumbs up. The thought of Imel makes Dhyanda start not to feel burdened anymore must pass PTN. Especially now he has a gold card, a PTS bona fide scholarship card in the class of Tunasjaya if later he does not qualify SBMPTN.

"Saran Mister, you still join UTBK-SBMPTN as your mother wishes, but just in case you also take this scholarship program. Let the school take care of everything. How's it?" said Mr. Kamil sage.

Dhyanda nodded in agreement, "Yes sir, I want to"

"Good!" sahut Pak Kamil while pointing one thumb. "You're in SBMPTN too, aren't you, Imel?" ask him about Imel.

"Huh?" Imel gasped, "Sa...I Sir?" he asked back.

"Yes, your name is Imelia right? is there anything else called Imel here?" sindir Pak Kamil's.

"Hehe. yes sir" Imel smiled hesitantly, "I want to work first Sir, maybe in the future start thinking to continue college" he said.

"Work?" Mr. Kamil was a little surprised, "No try SBMPTN?" tanyanya seriously.

"No sir" said Imel, shaking his head. "I happen to have already been bound by a contract of employment at the cafe for a year"

"You work at a cafe?" asked Mr. Kamil narrowed both his eyes suspiciously.

Mr. Kamil as the principal was so sorry for one of his students, who decided to work rather than continue his education. But he understood, there may be a reason behind the decision of Imel who chose to work first after graduating high school.

Many people crave college as high as possible for a better future. Unfortunately, not everything can make that happen. Including Imel, a lot of obstacles to be able to go to college. Among them is cost barriers. If his mother who is a single parent is already unable to finance, what else? Imel can only be sincere and try to remain enthusiastic.

Arriving at Dhyanda's house immediately told this good news to Arumi's mother. Arumi is unceasingly grateful that Dhyanda got a scholarship that guarantees the cost of her child's education until graduation.

"If so you don't have to take the PTN exam, just Dhy" said Ms. Arumi so changed her mind.

"Lho, why?" Dhyanda frowned confused. "not the mother who asked to enter PTN so that the cost is cheaper but still prestigious?" said again.

"Initially it was. But if there is a free lecture like this what is the delay in its name if we refuse? Tunasjaya is the best private campus in Jakarta, Dhy" said Arumi still not expect. He felt the abundant fortune.

"So mom is not enthusiastic anymore tell me to join SBMPTN?" ask Dhyanda while propping up her chin with one hand.

"It's up to you, whatever the mother supports" said Arumi grabbed Dhyanda's hand, reassuring her son that he meant it.

Dhyanda smiled looking at the bead of Arumi's mother's eyes that seemed to shine, "Logikanya yes Ma'am, if I pass PTN we still have to spend money for the semester fee. The scholarship program is free. We don't have to pay any more semester money. So I guess I'll go to college in Tunasjaya" he said.

"Terms and conditions apply, Dhy. Your GPA should always be above 3.0" Arumi said.

"Yes, I understand" said Dhyanda. But suddenly the girl remembered Imel. Dhyanda hopes that Imel can go to college with him again.

"What do you think?" tanya Arumi pat Dhyanda on the shoulder when he realized his son was even daydreaming.

"heuh?" Dhyanda was shocked. "There's nothing, just imel's inget" he said.

"why Imel? where's he going?"

"That's exactly it, Mom. Imel chose work and did not want to go to college" said Dhyanda disappointed.

Arumi's mother sighed for a moment, "Mother is sure Imel has thought about this well. You respect his decision, Dhy. You must always support him, your friendship should not be cut off just because it is not the same anymore."

Dhyanda agreed. A strong friendship does not require daily or mutual needs. As long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends never part.
