Season 2 - La Liorona - Chapter 1

The ghost of La Liorona, that's the name that Mexicans always mention for female ghosts who always haunt like looking for something. The ghost was wearing a white dress and was wandering around. According to the news that circulated, the ghost is a mother who had killed her own child and committed suicide but the spirit of the mother actually roamed to look for her child. Therefore, the ghost always kidnaps the little boy he sees so that the ghost of La Liorona makes the residents become restless.

Many do not believe such stories because no one has seen them yet but some people believe. The story that unfolds is certainly different. Some say that La Liorona is the ghost of a bride who died tragically.

A horrifying figure was seen on the street, the sound of his crying made some people who could hear of course run in fear. Although sometimes the ghost can not be seen but the sound of crying makes anyone run away. The ghost that people call La Liorona and hangs on the streets of Manhattan is actually looking for help, he needed someone who could help himself otherwise he would continue to sway and disturb the passers-by.

Bitsy who has the ability to see supernatural beings has grown up and she is already used to that ability. He used to be afraid but the more he got bigger, the less his fear even he did not bother about the creatures he always saw everywhere.

Bitsy who has been working suddenly gets a task and will be moved to New York. Surely it was a tough decision he had to make because he had to leave his elderly father. For the sake of his love for Mia, Darko did not remarry like what he said. For the sake of living costs, the farmhouse is sold and fortunately there are those who want to buy. His wife's grave was re-exhumed and moved to where Mia was buried before she was resurrected.

Angela also works while Rian is still in college. At least their finances are good enough even though Darko can not work because of age. Bitsy covers Rian's tuition and Angela covers the household's needs, so Bitsy cannot refuse when she is about to be deported to New York. After all his salary would be raised so he took the opportunity even though he had to be away from his family and would be in New York for five years.

"Does five know you're not coming back, Bitsy?" ask Angela who is helping Bitsy pack because tomorrow she has to go to New York.

"Of course I'll be back. Christmas and New Year will definitely return. If I have more money, I'll send more. Anyway another year Rian will pass, our burden will be reduced."

"You don't have to worry about that, Bitsy.  We'll bear it together!"

"Sorry, Girl. Because Daddy is no longer working makes you have to bear a heavy burden!" said their father who had heard.

"Daddy, why are you standing there?" Bitsy pulled her father's hand inside.

"So you're really leaving tomorrow?" ask Darko.

"Yeah, just five years, Dad. My salary will be raised by twenty percent. I got a place there, so no need to worry."

"Daddy was happy to hear it and didn't take issue with it but are you sure?" Bitsy who can see supernatural beings will definitely continue to see it even though it is in a new place.

"Of course, I'm used to everything so Daddy doesn't have to worry."

"Who knew Bitsy could meet her soul mate there, Dad," said Angela.

"I'll get married after you get married. I'll also get married after Rian graduates and works!"

"Hey, don't make your two sisters a burden. If you've met your soul mate, then you should get married!"

"Alright, don't talk about marriage first. I still want to work! The ghosts need help anyway."

"Sister, is it true that you're leaving?" now Rian who went into his brother's room.

"Hey, are you done studying?" Bitsy who was tidying up her things paused for a moment and looked towards her sister.

"Of course, brother. But I don't want my brother to leave. Why not just move to work?"

"Can't, Rian. It is not easy to find a new job. I won't be long anyway."

"Snick, brother must go. If you don't work, what about your tuition? I can't possibly let Angela endure it alone."

"I'm going to quit school and work!" said Rian.

"Can't!" angela and Bitsy shouted at the same time.

"You can't quit school, watch out if you dare!" angela's threat.

"I'll order the spirits to beat you every night if you dare to quit school!" now Bitsy's threatening.

"Bitsy's threat is scarier. I don't like playing with ghosts!"

"If you dare to stop then you will play with them!"

"All right, I'm just talking. Is there anything I can help you with, brother?" Rian began unpacking her brother's belongings that were already in the suitcase.

"Hey, troublemakers. Don't eject!" prevent Bitsy.

"Huh? Unload everything?" Rian pretended not to hear and unpacked all his brother's neat stuff.

"Rian! You're a bad boy!" Bitsy was about to prevent but Rian actually deliberately brought his goods to run away. Angela laughed at her brother and sister who were so noisy. Darko watched them while smiling. Soon Bitsy will be gone, her house will be deserted.

"Come here, Daddy wants to hug you for a second!" pinta Darko with her three children. He almost lost them first due to his stupid actions but now, seeing they are adults he feels happy even though Mia is not with them.

After Bitsy leaves who may soon be married, Angela will leave her. Only Rian, who was sure to leave, would eventually leave and live alone in the house. Time does pass quickly, it does not feel the three children are adults and will go from him one by one.

Bitsy and Angela had already hugged him, as well as Rian who was sitting by Bitsy's side. They hugged their father who was sitting on the side of the bed until he made them lie down.

"Daddy, if Daddy wants to remarry Daddy can do it!" bitsy.

"Yes, Dad. We don't mind" Angela said.

"But with a rich widow!" this time it was Rian who spoke.

"Abroad! Don't say a word that doesn't!" Bitsy who was on Rian's side fussed at his ears.

"I'm just kidding, brother!" Rian held onto his aching ear.

"Thank you for worrying about Daddy but Daddy won't marry again because for Daddy there is only your Mommy in Daddy's heart. Daddy's old, after all, can't make any more money. Daddy doesn't want to make your burden grow."

"We just don't want Daddy to be lonely."

"Stupid, Daddy's never lonely because of you guys. If that time you leave Daddy then Daddy feels lonely."

"We love you, Dad!" said his son and daughter.

"Thank you, Daddy loves you too!" Darko hugged them tightly. They were truly his priceless possessions. Tomorrow Bitsy has to go, it's really tough but she hopes Bitsy lives well in New York and finds her happiness there. As his father he could only wish his daughter the best.
