A Slap

It was a busy day after they moved. Darko began his day as a rancher continuing his family's long-dormant business. They were all busy because some of the animals he bought had already been brought in. In addition to breeding they will also plant some types of vegetables and corn on the land that is quite large.

Angela and Bitsy were pulling grass around the house that they were going to grow vegetables while Darko and Mia were busy elsewhere. Rian sat in a special baby chair made of rattan. Rian is not far from his two sisters to let Angela and Bitsy know if Rian is crying.

Today Bitsy is not as usual, she is more silent even she does not speak if it is not needed. Bitsy plucked the grass without caring about Angela's question. "Bitsy, Daddy said he got us a school" Angela said, but Bitsy did not answer. A school? When they go to school what about Rian? No one is keeping Rian at home, how is Rian eaten by his mother when her mother is hungry?

Bitsy stopped plucking the grass and looked towards Rian who was playing. Unwilling, she doesn't want to go to school because she's afraid that Rian is eaten by her mother. It's better not to be smart than his sister to be his mother's food.

"Why are you quiet, Bitsy? Are you sick?" Angela looked at her brother who was silent from morning. Bitsy just shook her head and pulled back the grass.

"Daddy said he'd take us to that school tomorrow. Daddy also said the school was not that far away. School buses also pass in front of our house. I can't wait to get back to school!" said Angela. He looks excited but not with Bitsy.

Bitsy thought, would anyone believe if she told others about her mother's condition? Would his father be angry if he said so?

Angela stopped working and ran away because she wanted to tell her father that Bitys wouldn't talk. Bitsy stops her activities and holds Rian. He wanted to take Rian for a walk around his house.

"Bit.sy," Rian called out his name while patting Bitsy's face then Rian pointed the other way, "Mama!" said it.

"No Mama, come with sister!" Bitsy took her sister, only for Rian to talk.

"Mama... Mama!" Rian called back while pointing in the same direction but Bitsy had already taken Rian away.

Bitsy stepped over while taking a look, she wanted to go by the side of her room because she was very curious. Maybe there's something there. Bitsy also saw a dense forest and after that Bitsy again stepped towards the side of the room she occupied.

When the light is not scary but when the night, he is afraid to look out the window because of the dark forest especially his mother. She was afraid her mother would enter through the window of her room. Bitsy was already by the window, the trace of her mother's palm was faintly visible on the glass. Bitsy stepped back in fear. Scared, he was really scared.

Bitsy stepped back without looking again and when her foot stepped on something that felt soft, Bitsy's footsteps came to a halt. Bitsy looked down, both eyes glaring at the skin of the beast she was stepping on. Both legs were trembling, Bitsy shouted loudly and then ran away. What is the skin of the animal that his mother ate? Is that the leftover that his mother ate?

Scared, he was really afraid of living there. Did he just run with Rian? But what about Angela? Did he seek help and then come back to bring Angela? Bitsy kept running while crying, whatever she said would definitely not be believed. It seems like he has to make his father believe first but how?

Bitsy kept running while crying, her eyes blocked by tears and because it made her almost hit her father who came out because he was called by Angela. Darko was very surprised to find his daughter crying with a breath that almost broke due to running while holding Rian.

"Bitsy!" Darko shouted and after that a slap landed on Bitsy's cheek.

Bitsy shouted, Angela shouted. Angela stepped back in fear while Bitsy looked at her father with a disappointed look. Darko was even in shock when he hit. He did not expect that he would hit his daughter.

"If Daddy doesn't believe Bitsy's words, Daddy shouldn't ask!" bitsy shouted as she ran into the house. The frightened Angela also ran in after Bitsy, preferably she along with her sister.

Darko rubbed his face and fell down. What the hell is he doing? Why not the happiness he got? Though he had brought Mia back but why not the happiness they got? Why does his daughter always say the same thing? Darko looked down and seemed to regret his actions. Looks like he has to explain to Bitsy. True, he has not given any explanation at all to his two daughters to date. Maybe because this is what makes his daughter misunderstand and think their mother is a ghost.

Bitsy was crying, and Rian was crying because it was dark. He's just a ten-year-old kid who can't do anything. Darko enters Bitsy's room with Angela because she wants to talk to her two daughters. Knowing his father was inside, Bitsy closed the door of the meeting closet. He hated, he really hated his father who did not believe his words.
