DEATH PASSAGE

DEATH PASSAGE
Chapter 13 Assumptions

From the direction the bodies were, Jack still looked around. His eyes never escaped what he thought was strange. Starting from a stiff corpse lying dry. Up to the speck of water falling from the ceiling of the dark cave.

Everything is caught by Jack's eyes and ears.

Jack smiled. Like getting something that challenges him. The body is really strange. And Jack was getting excited. The contents of his head began to be neatly arranged for all the possibilities that occurred.

Man dies without that head and the heart also disappears what an unnatural death. It was not death that made the corpse strange, but a hollow chest and a missing head, which was the question Jack had in mind at this time.

The speck of water continued to drip like a second that just passed. The dark cave where the corpse was located, stiff in the black sandy soil, the carcass of a human who gave off an unpleasant smell now began to fill the nose. Jack went around the body. Looking with his blue eyes, kissing from behind a white mask. Jack brought the face closer, as well as a torch lit on the right hand. He saw a dead body that was stiff. Although not bright but the torch in his hand is enough for Jack to see the corpse.

“How do you know something?” Kelar asked. The wide-hated man finally made a sound. The eyes also ask for answers to what happened. Jack had no answer.

“Still not yet, just a speck of water and a lump of lifeless meat here. It's not difficult, it's just that it takes time to know everything that's happened” Jack said flatly. That hoarse and heavy voice echoed in the cold dark passageway.  “Do you know this man?”

“My attention is not very good, even more so it is very difficult to know if it is just his body. I guess, I don't know who he” replied Kelar.

Jack can judge. The words are honest as they are. It is also true what is said is kelar, who can know others if they do not have a head. Jack too, never did he feel himself who made the corpse a messenger for the Bandits Gang.

Even though the one before them was a corpse, the aura coming out of the corpse was so black and dense. Jack widens a smile “ bad life” Jack said as he looked at the pale body that was drained of blood. “Sorry sir, it looks like you should go shower” Jack's hand comes into action. “Title, please put this torch briefly” the little dagger began to smash the slum still attached to the slave.

“Jack, you seriously” asked Kelar who looked in disbelief.

Jack stopped the activity of ripping the corpse shirt. “What do you think Kelar, if you want to know, we have to be as thorough as possible” said Jack who continued ripping. There was no doubt in his words just now. All of this is what he wanted.

Now the corpse leaves only a bag of pants that cover the little bird hidden in it. One of the bodies showed a black bird feather tattoo crossed over his right chest. “Can you, 1 piece has been found” Jack smiled. “Let's find another piece” he said

feisty.

“What is it, tattoo, black bird feather. Lest it be related to the White Eagle Fortress” Kelar also began to guess like Slimin.

“Entah, the road is still foggy now. But one thing's for sure, we got a precious piece and you know, it all started with one” Jack smiled.

“Yes, you're right” Kelar just allowed Jack's words.

Kelar also brought his face closer to the corpse. On his monitor was clearly every corner of the corpse. “Try to see, the slices on his neck stem are so neat and measurable. I haven't seen pieces this good in a long time. It is not ordinary people who do it” Kelar said.

Jack knew Kelar was very good at using small knives. Which is almost like a knife to dissect the human body held by the Doctor. One of the skills of Kelar.

“I'm very sure who did it is an expert” Kelar looks to believe in what he said.

“Heart?”

“Let's see first, it's hard to know how a human can do it, his chest looks not hurt by a sword or sharp object like that. Rather it looks like a strong and sharp puncture” bright Kelar.

“Beast” said Jack who guessed.

“No, smaller than that. Like a human nail, look at this puncture mark” Kelar shows that chest wound. “Four shreds above and one below” Kelar inserts his own fingers. “So, it's human, but

what kind of man is he” said the smiling Kelar.

 “And arms and legs?”

Kelar moved the broken arm and leg, like a palm midrib “I'm not sure, but it was kind of hit hard. Like an iron stick that destroys it. And again seen from the way this breaks. It was like being hit in one hit. His hands are also so” Kelar was silent for a moment. Move from his seat. “This is really strange, not a single wound they received looks the same. The three Injuries look mismatched” Kelar shook his head. “And you're right that man didn't die tonight, but rather when the sun was shining”.

“And how about the Tattoo, there's something you know” asked Jack. Jack gave so much for Kelar to express what was on the head of the man in the hat. Jack deliberately did it, otherwise he would not get any other reference other than his assumption.

“That's black bird feathers, but it's not clear what birds are there. Deep black, it could have been a crow or indeed it was Elang” Kelar paying attention back on the man's body. “If this is related to White Eagle Fortress. It means we are being watched” Kelar rise.

“All right now is clear how he got killed. But who and for what is still hidden. It's okay. 2 pieces are already in our hands” said Jack who widened his smile.

Jack felt himself challenged by Nature to play that role. Even if someone did this murder like a game. Jack would be happy to be in it. “If even this was done by someone, I'm sure he would definitely show himself”

The third person who died at the scene returned. With a bright face he stepped. “Did you guys get something” he smiled like a winner.

“The answer is yes and no” sergeant Kelar.
