DARK NOTE
Part 2's. The Orphan Child

Diandra was born and raised in Jakarta. So did his father Adel or his only brother Diandra. Their families overseas from Central Java were successful, opening a sembako agent shop in the northern region. But a year after Danis's marriage, Diandra's older brother, their father dies fighting off robbers who are trying to take the merchandise. The incident made their mother's heart hit, depressed, and finally breathed her last forty days after the father's departure.

Fortunately Diandra is a strong woman. With Danis, he resumed the efforts of their parents. A year goes well, although the profit gained is not as big as it used to be. Many customers disappeared, after finding out the owner died in the store due to murder. For some reason, they believe the place of the ex-murder is making less than good efforts. They are buying to resell.

Two years later, Adelia Princess Danis was born. The child was born on Friday night when a rainstorm hit Jakarta. With great difficulty they resisted the rain, penetrating the flooded streets to the hospital. When the car managed to park, his mother broke the amniotic fluid. Soon he was born, right at the door of the ER. Fortunately the nurse was sprightly and the baby could be saved before falling on the floor.

From the age of three, Adel was a little strange. He often talked to himself under the front of the store. Often at noon and afternoon after ashar. Diandra who often caught, when asked he said he was talking to grandparents white. To Diandra's horror, Adel pointed to the deceased father who was still hanging in the prayer room and said the same as the property of grandparents who like to shelter under the cherry tree.

At the age of four, Adel was fluent in reading even he was very interested in books, especially comics. Diandra also bought him a complete series of famous detectives. But what makes him regret, Adel became a nerd who forgot time. Finally on his fifth birthday, Diandra had to give him a gift of glasses minus.

The first day Adel entered SD, coinciding with his father who managed to buy a new car. Danis and Amel want to surprise their daughter by secretly picking her up from school. Since morning, as far as Adel tantenya who will pick up. He also waited at the school gate while talking to the seller of flea books. An old mother with white bones.

At 12:00, one hour Adel was waiting for an invitation. Suddenly a red car stopped, the glass immediately opened. Adel stared at those in the car.

"Dad, Mother! Where's Aunt Dian?" he nodded while approaching the car. But his father just stared at the street with a blank look. So did his mother, just silently pecking. Suddenly the father waved and drove his car before Adel could pull the door lever. Adel shouted to them, but the car had already sped up.

"Son, who are you shouting at?" reprimand mom bookseller amazement. The atmosphere was indeed quiet because the other children had all gone home.

"That, dad's mom. They got in a new car but left Adel, "he said. The mother gawked, but immediately read the situation while staring warily.

"Come here. Sit here and wait for your appointment," he gently persuaded. Adel sat back in the small chair provided.

"You.can see anything else?" ask the book seller carefully.

"What other things?" Adel again sorted out comic books held on the mat.

"That, for example, is under that banana tree. Did you see?" Bu Lastri, the bookseller pointed to a banana grove in an empty garden across the street.

Adel stared for a moment and then shook his head.

"Nobody," he murmured. Miss Lastri nodded slowly.

"You know your weton?"

"Watten?" Adel shrugged his shoulders. He found an old comic from Japan. But after knowing it was an adult comic, stockpiled the book with other books.

"Yes. Your birthday is in a matter of Java," explained Bu Lastri.

"No idea" said Adel. He mentioned his date and year of birth. Bu Lastri was seen squinting, then nodding with a bit of uneasiness.

"One suro, Friday night Legi," he murmured.

Before long, a matic motorcycle stopped in front of them. Diandra waved to Adel who immediately greeted him cheerfully.

"Tante knows. I was with my mom here, using a red car. But Adel was left, Kirain wanted to pick Adel up," he reported with a sour face. Diandra frowned, "when?" tanyakanya.

"Hmm, it was about 12, '" Adel said as he watched the black watch on his wrist. Diandra's blood rippled, there was a chill touching his nape.

"Yes, wear the right helmet. Come with auntie for a minute, yuk." Diandra thanked Bu Lastri before turning the engine back on. Bu Lastri caught a bad thing in Diandra's gaze.

Around the railroad tracks there is a yellow line. The atmosphere was still crowded with people who crowded, although it had been dispelled by several police officers. The smell of combustion still stings, a piece of four-wheeled vehicle that is barking still reflects smoke. Diandra took a quick glance, before finally taking the road to the right, towards the hospital.

In the parking lot, Diandra was no longer able to support his body. Both knees were shaking violently, tears were pouring out. Adel was terrified to see his aunt collapse in tears for some reason.

"Aunt Dian.why? Huhu..tante is sick? Let's see a doctor," soaked Adel while pulling his arm. Some people approached because Adel's cry was getting louder.

"Eh.eh why are you?" ask a fat mom. Diandra tried to master the emotions, he slowly got up and sat on the edge of a large flower pot with the help of a girl who was still wearing a helmet.

"Well, the mother is not the family of the accident victim earlier? Who came here with the police," said a parking attendant. People were getting crowded, Diandra immediately pulled Adel's hand and left.

"A crash victim at that rail crossing?" a driver waiting for his employer.

"Yes. Seram terribly, his body destroyed. Husband wife anyway. And reportedly, it's a new car," said the parking spokesman, shuddering.

The driver looked at his car with an inexplicable look.

Diandra awakens during azan maghrib with pulsating head. He rushed to find his dark room light switch. The other room was very bright, especially the kitchen. Sounds clanking kitchen utensils and the smell of a typical instant fried noodle. Adel was stirring hot noodles with a sprinkling of chilies cut into five pieces.

"Aunty wants?" bargained for. Diandra shook her head and immediately entered the bathroom.

Finish their bath praying together. Adel always linger while praying. There were never any tears, but Diandra knew very well the fragility of her little heart.

"Tante hasn't eaten yet. Want to eat out?" he said when folding mukena.

"You know, if you're out of payday," prank Diandra rattling her curly hair. Adel nyengir's.

"Eating martabak, yuk." Diandra grabbed the keys to the motorbike and his wallet. Adel gave a thumbs up.

The maghrib has just moved on. Their house is fairly strategic, in addition to the downtown complex area, close to the square as well. Diandra decided to sell their store and house in Jakarta, he also invited Adel to return to his father's village, in Java even though he was not very familiar with relatives. Besides in Jakarta there are no more brothers, there are other things that make him forced to keep Adel from his birthplace.

After the death of his parents, Adel was more often silent and aloof, only accompanying reading books. Diandra tried to take her to a psychiatrist, but only a few changes were made. He remains a quiet child.

But that's not what matters. Once Adel disappeared while he was busy serving buyers who came non-stop. Diandra was almost desperate, he did not want to lose for the umpteenth time. Fortunately, while he was at the police station, someone came to deliver the child in a condition that was not okay. Diandra hugged him all night. When everything calmed down, he tried to figure out the cause.

"Adel where have you been? Why go quietly?"

The boy frowned, then looked at the open door of the house.

"So Adel saw the father of the mother, the road there did not reach Adel. That's why Adel is chasing, Adel wants to come," he said with an empty view.

Diandra breathed a heavy sigh. He moved and closed the door and locked it. The shop was closed this afternoon.

"Where do Adel keep going?"

"The road that has a train," he answered briefly but made Diandra drowned. How not, the distance of the railway crossing is quite far if taken by foot. Especially for a 6-year-old.

"Adel's after mom's father, but they don't care" he whispered later. Diandra stroked his shoulders gently. The girl was still ringing the words of the fathers who drove Adel to the police station.

"So I found this kid in the middle of the tracks, almost got struck by the train. When I was carrying, he kept pointing to the place of the former accident a few months ago while calling father and mother. Was this the victim's child at the time?"

The bright lights of the city make the atmosphere warm even though the sky is studded with stars. The aroma of various snacks from the store that lined up made the stomach increasingly rumbling.

"Tante wants wedang ronde dong," whined Adel when passing through the ginger-flavored cart.

"Later on, aunty was really a laper. Buy martabak same satay first, yes," said Diandra. Adel nodded while watching the seller wedang round that always lowered his head. At first glance the boy saw something on the left side of the wagon, near a neatly arranged bowl. White clumps with red tongue.

When at the martabak seller, they heard a young conversation that was quite ear-loving.

"I was scared to go home at night. Afraid to meet the mouth ripper," said the able-bodied girl while tightening the jacket.

"Yes. It was the horror itself, the Vika last night was chased by the same figure. Good thing he ran and there were still citizens in front of his alley" said another girl with straight blond hair. His hand then grabbed the phone tucked in tight jeans clad in his fat feet.

"Eh, look at me. Si Nur said he wanted to change schools. Also by Vika. His mouth is like a jalapeno, it's so spicy. Haha."

"Yes, crazy. He's an expert at the disgrace of others."

Adel was stunned looking at them. Tear the mouth said. What is that figure that is now the subject of the warm-warm horrible news? His feet were about to step closer to them, but Diandra immediately prevented.

"Come, he said he wanted to buy wedang ronde," he said. Adel snorted in annoyance.

"Aunty didn't hear what they were saying? Adel's curious," his mouthpiece.

"It has. Little children do not interfere, you will be betrothed to them," said Diandra while pulling his hand. Adel is pouting.

Passing the seller wedang round, Diandra stopped but Adel flinching.

"Where to buy, then the hammer to go cold," orders Diandra. Adel shakes.

"Someone licked the bowl. Adel didn't want to" whispered the boy. Diandra was wailing around looking at the wagon. But all he saw was people who were engrossed in the warmth of the ginger drink.

"Don't joke, Del," he said. Adel pointed to the left side of the wagon.

"That's, a wad of cloth tied over it. His tongue is red."

Instantly the feathers of Diandra bristled. He took off his bike without looking back.
