The Past - XXXV Parts

Darkerio chuckled, then he glared at Xyon and said, "Goodbye, General Xyon!! We'll meet again later, and I'll make sure the planet is destroyed forever!"

He then disappeared behind the black fog that had just enveloped his entire body. While Treya who was almost killed, seemed to try to turn to Xyon who was a distance away, then smiled at the young General.

“Goodbye, General. I'm sending Planet Palladina to Arnea. Take care of this galaxy with your life,” whispered the King of Palladina slowly, then his body turned into fine dust that disappeared in the air.

“Your Majesty! Nah! Your Majesty!!” xyon shouted with tears soaking his face, blood still flowing from his mouth, while holding the stomach that now felt excruciating pain.

The black fog that enveloped the entire corner of the palace then disappeared, and the air that was there now returned to normal, without any more toxic gases spreading everywhere. Xyon suddenly growled while glaring sharply at the blood-filled floor.

Both of his palms clenched hard. He then tried to get up and hit the floor very hard using both fists, crying.

"Fuck, shit, shit! Why me, why?! Why?!" scream with a high tone.

Suddenly he fell silent, then took a deep breath. A white cosmic sword then appeared within the grasp of his right hand that seemed to be filled with wounds. A face filled with disappointment and deep sadness now forced him to ..direct the sharp end of the cosmic weapon right in front of the chest, where his heart was.

"Then what am I here for? My wife and son are dead. Father, Mother, and His Majesty the King and His Majesty the Empress. They were all killed in just one day, which even I just came back this morning. I'm really useless. Why get the highest test scores, if I can't even protect them all?!" yelled Xyon while crying loudly.

He suddenly laughed for a while and continued, "This life that is in me, isn't it just a flow of energy from the atoms that make up the universe, is it? I'd better go with them all, than I. .. alone here!”

He then closed both eyes and began to bring the sharp edge of the cosmic sword close to his chest, however, someone suddenly knelt before him and immediately grabbed the sharp object, xyon was startled and immediately opened his eyes and stared at a man he knew very well.

"His Highness the Crown Prince?" asked the young general while glaring sharply.

"You can't kill yourself. This is an order. You can't be killed. This is also an order" said the man, Arnea, with a firm face.

Xyon then sees Clare and the four young warriors he knows - Weim, Sey, Arex, and Nordian - standing behind the Crown Princess of Palladina. They then approached him and knelt down before him, along with Arnea.

"Me and His Highness the Crown Prince came to a realization from the foul-smelling poisonous gas, and suddenly someone knocked on the door. I opened it immediately and these four young soldiers were already outside" Klara said slowly.

"General, we know that you have come back here and are about to greet you in the backyard of the palace, but suddenly, we see that the entire palace building is shrouded in black fog" Weim said.

"We went into the palace, but what we found was all the servants and guards lying on the floor, and some people have apparently been killed by bleeding from the mouth" Arex replied.

Xyon could only stare at them with a sad face, but did not reply to all those words.

"We immediately remembered your words, to always be careful and vigilant, so we immediately covered our noses with a cloth, and immediately ran to look for the whereabouts of His Majesty the King and His Majesty the Empress, but because of the sound of screaming, we were forced to hide in a secret room in the corner of the palace," said Nordian.

"After a few hours the black fog that enveloped this palace suddenly thinned out, then we started knocking on every door in every hallway, he said, but the first thing we found was His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Crown Princess in their room" Sey said.

Arnea then gave a small smile to Xyon, then clasped the young General's right hand gently, saying, "You've managed to train them to become the best soldiers ever. Look.”

But suddenly, Xyon bowed his body in front of Arnea, until his head touched the floor until they were all shocked.

While crying, he exclaimed, "Your Majesty! I'm sorry that I can't protect anyone at all! His Majesty the King and His Majesty the Empress, even the Senior General and the Chief Servant, they have all been killed! I am so incapable of becoming a general, Your Majesty! I'm ...I'm very prepared to bear all the punishment you're going to give me, for all this foolishness!"

Arnea began to shed tears, and even Klara and the other four soldiers cried. The Crown Prince of Palladina was actually very sad after listening to Xyon's words since earlier. Their sad faces began to be followed by a slow cry, and began to mourn the deaths of Treya, Veina, and Derix, and Wyona.

"I'll punish you, Xyon. You must remain my personal bodyguard because you are the only one alive and know who the perpetrators have infiltrated and wreaked havoc in this palace. You must stay alive, and avenge him. This is an order! You can't be killed except on my orders!!" arnea exclaimed with a reddened face and teary eyes.

He clenched both of his palms. Her crying was indeed slow, but the sadness in her heart really felt deep.

Xyon then raised his head and looked at Arnea with a sad face, also with tears that were still wetting his face.

"Your Majesty! That intruder, I don't know and don't know him at all. Even I don't know what cosmic power it uses, but as I must have known, it's called Darkerio" Xyon replied in a voice that was almost lost in tears.

Suddenly Arnea stood up, then looked at the young General with sharp eyes and exclaimed, "I command you, General Xyon, to stay alive to find out who Darkerio is, and what's the point here, and then avenge me for all these deaths on him!"
