Curse of the Xbreed: Silverian & Blackerian
The Past - Part IX

They went back silent for a few minutes, then Xyon broke the silence by saying, “I'll be back to my room.”

“One-time inconvenience. If the other room dwellers see you, they will not hesitate to tell this to Madam. Oh, my God, just take off your clothes!" exclaim while looking to the side with a completely flushed face.

Xyon just looked at Hyerin with a flat, expressionless and cold face that made Hyerin become even more annoyed after turning her head again towards the young man.

"Gosh, today I'm supposed to be working through the night. But it turns out I have to take care of someone who saved my life. I want to repay his kindness for helping me from those thugs, but it seems that person does not want to accept my kindness" Hyerin said with a sad face this time.

"Ah, alright, alright," Xyon replied as he turned his eyeballs, and after that, he undressed yet slowly.

As soon as the young man had already undressed and left his upper body open, Hyerin immediately turned to the side while blushing in embarrassment. Of course, as a person who always uses the sword and often does continuous physical exercise, Xyon's body is arguably very.

After rolling her eyeballs once, Hyerin then said softly, "Can you give your back to me?"

Xyon let out a long sigh, then he twisted his body, letting his back which was now in front of Hyerin. The girl then began to squeeze the wet clean cloth inside the bucket filled with water earlier. He looked at his back and rubbed it, slowly.

"You've never seen a man's body before" Xyon said.

Hyerin's face suddenly became sad. He was silent for a moment, while still cleaning the blood on Xyon's back with the cloth earlier.

"I don't actually have parents. Since the baby, I've been tucked away in an orphanage. No one wanted to raise me as a child until I finally decided to move from the big city next door, to this beautiful little town" Hyerin replied with teary eyes.

Xyon listened to him while showing a serious face.

"The woman who owned this inn kindly gave me a room to stay, but I was required to work for her sister and her husband at the restaurant. They were very nice to me. As you say, I've never been close to a man other than you in my ever lonely life" Hyerin said.

He then stood up, brought the bucket full of blood into the bathroom, and threw the contents away. After that, he refilled the bucket with clean water, then walked up to Xyon and sat behind him.

Hyerin began to re-clean the blood that was still in Xyon's body little by little.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you sad" whispered Xyon softly.

Hyerin shook her head, then she said, "I'm glad someone would listen to my story."

The girl suddenly stood up, walked towards the wardrobe beside the bed, then opened it, and picked up a long cloth and a small towel. After that, he again sat down behind Xyon.

He placed the small towel to cover the wound on Xyon's back, then pressed it with one hand while his other hand began to wrap the long cloth around Xyon's body, to stop the bleeding from the wound on the man's back.

"I didn't throw away the sword, Hyerin," said the young man slowly.

"You're right, Xyon. The government will fine you because they think that we've dirty the city. But they did absolutely nothing to the thugs. You may have saved me today, but somehow it was the fate of another girl" Hyerin replied.

"Well, it's done. Can you go back to your own room? I need to get back to that restaurant. Even though the sky was getting dark, they must be waiting for me to come back" Hyerin said with a smile on her face.

"Thank you, Hyerin. I'll go back to my room" Xyon replied.

He then tried to stand up, but apparently the pain he felt in the torn wound on his back was still very agonizing, so he shouted, "Argh!!!"

Hyerin instantly became panicked, even she glared sharply at the young man.

"Gosh, you better be here first! Lie down, so that the bleeding on your wound will quickly stop!" yells.

He immediately helped Xyon to lie back on the bed. After the young man was comfortable.

“Alright, I go first,” whispered Hyerin.

He then stood up straight again, but Xyon suddenly pulled his arm until he fell on the young man's body. They were now staring at each other, but with reddened faces.

"If I say that I'm not from Planet Earth, will you still treat me this well?" ask Xyon slowly.

"Whatchu mean? Aren't you also a human like me?" hyerin asked the young man.

Xyon smiled slightly, then asked again, "If I tell you that I am a soldier, will you still be my friend?"

Hyerin looked at him deeply, then replied, "Xyon, I don't see you as a bad person. You even gave up your life to save me. Then why should I be afraid of you?"

Xyon smiled again, then whispered softly, "Because I seem to like you."

Hyerin's heart beat so fast that she fell silent after hearing the confession. He suddenly distanced himself from Xyon and sat down beside him, with a sad face.

"I'm sorry, Xyon. I'll be right back and bring you dinner when I'm done with work" Hyerin whispered, then she stood up and walked straight to the door.

However, Xyon tried to stand up, and said, "I'm sorry, Hyerin. I ... won't linger here, inside this planet. I'll be heading back to my home planet soon, so you can forget what I just told you. I ... just can't lie alone.”

Hyerin paused her steps, then replied, “Aren't you still sick? Rest.”

He then resumed his steps and walked out of his room. Before he closed the door, Xyon apparently walked up to him. Hyerin turned to look at the young man with a flat face.

"I'll rest in my room, sorry to bother you. Thank you, Hyerin," said Xyon softly, then he walked towards his own room.

The young man then reached into his pants pocket and took the key, then opened the door and went straight into his room. After that, he closed the door without saying anything. Hyerin could only stare at the door, with a sad face, then walked back to the restaurant where she worked, sighing.
