Crazy Rich Girl's
CH. 2 | Loss of The Fox

"Actually I don't care if you don't want to help us. But, my grandfather once said that your father had promised us something so that our clan could become friends and not continue to fight cold wars" he continued with one corner of his lips drawn upwards.

"Ck! All right, what do you want?" reply Jessica finally.

"I want you to find my brother" Joshua said.

Jessica frowned. Her sister? The person he was referring to was The Fox the leader of Revengreed? Why should he look for her? Has he disappeared?

"The Fox you mean?" jessica asked him to make sure that his guess was correct.

"Who else, my brother is just him."

"Maybe he's at your base, or maybe checking the weapons supply at the Southern Warehouse?" jessica replied a little. Come on, what's he looking for that Revengreed leader for? He must only be in his habitat—meaning in Headquarters or his magnificent Mansion.

Joshua snorted in annoyance. He looked at Jessica with guts before leaning his body towards the woman. "If he's there, why would I ask you to help him find him?"

Jessica nodded small. He is seen thinking for a moment with both fingers flanking his tapered chin.

"Then, how did he disappear? I need to know that to be a clue to where we should look" Jessica said.

It's a pretty hard choice. Jessica actually did not want to deal back with Revengreed, because based on the information she got from Grandpa and her Father, she said, Revengreed is their strongest enemy and of course a lot of clans who do not like the existence of Revengreed which always tops the top in the underground. Jessica certainly does not want if she has to lose her members again just because her clan is involved with their internal problems. Many Thimotheous members who had been victims of Revengreed cruelty were also enemies of him when these two clans still did not get along. However, if Jessica doesn't agree to Joshua's request to help her search for The Fox, then she will bring her members into trouble.

Revengreed would definitely re-raise the flag of hostility towards his clan, and it would not be a good choice if it were to be true.

"He disappeared while our Headquarters was being attacked by members of the Glocks. But, we have sent spies to their headquarters and have found no information about my brother's whereabouts" Joshua said.

Akhinya Jessica nodded after struggling for quite a long time with her thoughts. "Fine, I'm gonna have my team scour the city of London and search for The Fox."

Jessica squinted towards the man, feeling a little strange with his attitude. That calm did he tell you what could be a tyranny of their clan's weakness now? In fact, Jessica didn't ask even a single bit about it and she just opened it up.

It's only fair that their father entrusted their clan's leadership to The Fox. Apparently, not only because he was the first child but his sister was still very careless.

Come on, even though Thimotheous is not an enemy, Joshua must learn to shut his mouth first before the internal matter is resolved. Otherwise, he could have told the info to the wrong person, who would instead use the opportunity to destroy them. Moreover, their leader was now disappearing. Wouldn't this be a very nice gap to beat them when the heart of Revengreed wasn't around?

"I hope you can keep your mouth shut on this matter in the future, or your brother might sew it up because your words just now could have been your master's dinner weapon." Jessica got up from her seat, walked up to the man in the red suit and patted him on the shoulder.

"You should be even more careful next time, lucky that I'm the only one to hear this news." Jessica stepped towards the door of her study room and opened it and gestured to them to leave the room immediately.

Joshua grinned faintly before inviting his two men to leave immediately.

"They're right, you fit in" Joshua said as his body passed Jessica.

The woman frowned, but stopped to ask the meaning of the man's words. He simply flicked his shoulders indifferently before calling Nathaniel who was already on standby at his doorstep.

"Nath, please tell The Eagles I'll have an impromptu meeting at North Headquarters. Oh, and I hope all the members attend today" Jessica said.

"Roger that, Madame," Nathaniel replied.
