A woman who had just become a mother was smiling looking at her tiny baby who was breastfeeding on her chest, the woman named Julia Kurniawan.
For a moment they looked so happy that a man opened the door rudely and shouted “ I will give you one more chance, if you give me another daughter then I will divorce you!."
The man is the husband of Julia Kurniawan named Arya Kusuma, a cosmetics businessman in Jakarta.
Since childhood Arya was cared for by her father named Tikno Kusuma because her mother had died since Arya was five years old.
Arya has an older brother who prefers to work abroad after she gets married, her older sister has absolutely no interest in running the Kusuma family business she has her own business.
In the eyes of Arya and Mr. Tikno Kusuma, a boy is worth more than a thousand daughters because only a man will carry the lineage which is why Arya is so upset with his wife Julia for giving birth to a daughter instead of a boy.
Julia just fell silent to the screams of her husband's threat, in her heart she said “basis weird people are I who determine gender.” Julia took a deep breath while looking at the beautiful baby on her chest.
Arya Kusuma does not care about her wife. Julia takes care of a baby girl named Dina Kusuma alone, Julia often wakes up in the middle of the night to breastfeed Dina, replace the Dina press, clean up Dina's poop. Even Arya is unwilling to spend money to pay a baby sitter to help his wife take care of her first baby, as new mother Julia is overwhelmed.
In addition to caring for her baby, Julia also has to serve her husband's wishes because Arya wants Julia to get pregnant quickly and give him a son.
Arya's efforts were successful when Dina was seven months old Julia was one month pregnant. Tired of caring for Dina who has started to have to be given MPASI Julia also has to face pregnancy drama in the first trimester.
The love that he used to feel is now turned into hate because of Arya's very opposite attitude as when they were dating.
When dating first Arya treated Julia like a princess, Julia thought after marriage surely she would be treated like a queen but it turns out Arya really does not care even Julia had to go to the gynecologist for a routine check alone.
“If later the results of his USG show a boy then I will accompany you to go to the obstetrician.” Those words were what Arya said when Julia whined asking to go to the gynecologist.
“Arya, this month you can see the gender of the fetus, do you not want to accompany me to go to the obstetrician?." Julia hoped that this time Arya would accompany her.
“No! you go alone later if the USG results show the sex of the male fetus, next month I will accompany you to the obstetrician.” Answer Arya cuek.
With annoyed Julia went alone to the obstetrician, the doctor told the sex of the fetus in Julia's womb.
“How's the USG result, what's our baby's gender?” arya asked when Julia had just walked into the house.
It turns out Arya deliberately waited for Julia's return from the obstetrician because she was curious about the sex of the fetus in Julia's womb.
With a lethargic face Julia looked at Arya then said softly “ Arya, sorry yes I am not God who can determine the sex of the fetus, the fetus in my womb is female.” Julia lowered her head.
“ WHATAAA??? Women again? Now also I divorce you get out of my house.”
“But let me here until this child is born.” Julia pleaded with Arya.
“No! because I don't want any more baby girls crying in this house, now you're out!.”
“OK well I will pack first, may you not regret having divorced me.” Julia smiled cunningly towards Arya but Arya did not care about it.
Julia quickly tidied up all her belongings and also Dina's baby equipment.
On the porch of a not-so-luxurious house, two elderly people were sitting on their porch enjoying fried cassava and a small glass of warm sweet tea, their middle age.
They talk about the success of their two daughters. Their second daughter had just graduated from college with satisfactory grades and was immediately accepted to work at a large company with a fantastic salary even though now they had to be separated by distance but they were still happy. Their first daughter is now married to a big businessman in the city of Jakarta they hope their daughter lives happy.
“Aduh...pak..aku kangen loh same Dina she is very cute beautiful like her mother, now if not wrong already seven months....that's funny again-fussy sure it's like his mama first.” Said Mrs Kurniawan with anxiety.
“Ya..patient later if we play there.”
Just as they finished talking suddenly a car stopped right in front of their house.
Seeing a car stop in front of the fence of his house Mr. Kurniawan immediately stood up and walked over to see who came.
The car door opened a female figure who was no stranger to him out of the car and shouted
“Papa....mama...”.
“Owalah..realata you Jul.”.
Seeing Julia came Mrs Kurniawan immediately ran up to her and carried Dina into the house while Julia and her papa brought things into the house.
“Loh son, how to play here bring this Segede bag? How many days do you want?” asked Mrs Kurniawan confused.
“I want to spend forever ma.”
“Hah...actually what happened nak?”
“Arya divorced me.” Julia answered casually
“Seriously? How in divorce do you not look sad even smiles so anyway?”
Julia tells what the cause of her until divorced Arya and how Arya's attitude so far.
“Yeah son, your pantesan is fond of being divorced Arya, yes it is better you are here someone is taking care of you fortunately my child is healthy.”
“It is very rude of Arya if you know this, I will not allow her to marry you.”
“Ya, I also sir, if you know Arya like this I do not want to marry her, wong time dating her is very good, sir.”
Despite being upset, Mr and Mrs Kurniawan feel grateful that their children and grandchildren are doing well.
For a while Julia hitchhiked from her parents because there was no way she could find a job while she was five months pregnant.
Fortunately both parents are quite located plus her sister regularly every month always send money that is quite large but for the cost of labor, Julia already has savings.
