Tio came home with a box of ice cream from Calista. His little wife called him to buy him some brownie ice cream.
Tio walked into the apartment and saw Calista who was watching while lying on the sofa. Tio kisses Calista's lips and gives her ice cream.
"This is the ice cream. I take the plate and the knife first" said Tio. Tio returned with a small plate, spoon and knife. Tio cut the brownie ice cream and gave it to Calista
Calista woke up from her sleep and took ice cream. Calista ate the ice cream. Tio looked at Calista with glazed eyes.
Tio imagined at the age of Calista who is still 8 years old, having to lose both parents because of the carelessness of Dance and herself. If Calista was angry, for Tio it was natural.
Tio imagined the times when Calista had to live a kara as he had told. His aunt cared less. Though Tio has given a lot of money while at peace.
Tio immediately hugged his wife, making Calista so astonished.
"Daddy why? I'm good at ice cream again. Got his shirt, Daddy," Calista said.
"I'm sorry, honey. Ii'm sorry. I didn't do all that on purpose."
"Daddy, what the hell is that talking? I don't understand. Did what?"
Tio let go of his embrace. Staring at Calista with watery eyes. Tio held both shoulders of the woman, in order to face her.
"If you knew who hit your parents, what would you do? Can you forgive their mistakes?" ask Tio slowly.
"Why did Daddy ask that?"
"The answer used to be my question, dear."
"I'll pull her hair. I'm gonna hit. That man has made me an orphan. Why has that man never met me? Didn't they want to know how I felt at the time?"
"Maybe they're seeing your other family. You were a kid back then, so you might not have been able to chat."
Calista could not hold back his tears, seeing his wife crying Tio tightly hugged Calista's body. Her tears also spilled.
"Ocean, deep sea cannot describe my longing for my father and mother. Their departure made me understand that the most sorrowful longing is when someone is gone. However, their departure teaches that God is always there to listen to all prayers and hopes. After the departure of my father and mother, my life felt so complicated. I wanted so badly to tell them all the hardships of life, but I realized it was useless. I have to be strong. I have to be an adult at a age that's supposed to still need affection."
"I understand how sad you are, I know how you feel, for that I apologize. You can do anything to me, but one day, don't ever go and run from my side" Tio said.
"Why is Daddy apologizing? Does Daddy know who my parents hit?" ask Calista slowly.
"Yes, just found out if the victim is both your parents. But trust me, Calista, it was all an accident."
"Who? Tell me who hit my parents!" calista said in a high voice.
"Tari, at that time she learned to drive. I've been trying to help Tari avoid that collision. But it all feels so fast. We can't avoid it."
"Auntie Dance is crashing?" calista.
"Yes, Honey. Forgive me and Dance" said Tio. Tio wanted to hold Calista's hand. But cut the woman. Calista retreated to get away from Tio.
"Daddy was also in the car with Auntie Tari" Calista said.
"Yes, Honey. I'm sorry," said Tio. Tio tried to get close to Calista.
"Don't approach me. I don't want to be touched!" calista.
Calista stood up from her seat and entered the room. Her crying broke in the room.
