AFFECTION: Unconscious

Sefia walked back and forth, glancing at the clock that was stuck to the wall.

"Cong yet to go home, pi? Try calling papi again!" she urged Sefia on her husband.

"Yes mi, this papi try to call from earlier but the phone is not active." he said, no less worried from his wife.

At once, the house phone rang and Dedi swiftly picked it up.

"Hallo." he replied.

"Is this really Brother Rian Atmadja's residence?" ask one of the people across.

"Yes right." said Dedi quickly.

"I am a nurse from Kusuma hospital, want to inform you that Brother Rian Atmadja is in an accident and his condition is critical, so it requires the approval of his parents to perform the operation immediately" he explained.

Instantly Dedi limps and ends up falling into a single seat near the nightstand, still holding the phone with a face of disbelief. "I'll be there soon, please do your best for my son!" ask before hanging up the phone.

He rubbed his face rough, his eyes were so nanar. Makes Sefia wonder.

"What's up, pi? Why Rian?" tanyanya started to worry.

Dedi was unable to answer him, he then stood up to immediately go to the hospital. "We need to get to the hospital right away, mi."

"Why, pi? Did something happen to Rian?" ask Sefia again, when she has not received an answer.

She followed her husband in a hurry to get into the car, then asked the driver to advance control of the car to Kusuma hospital.

Along the way Sefia shook her husband's shoulders trembling. "Please answer! Why are we in the hospital? What's the matter with our son?"

Dedi hugged his wife to give her peace. "Our son must be fine, mami don't worry too much!" considering his wife was pregnant, Dedi did not want to shock her.

"So right? Something happened to Rian?" tanyanya.

Dedi nodded, stroking the face of his wife who had already let out tears of worry. "Yes." he said.

At once Sefia immediately grabbed her chest, so tight that she could not stand it.

"Hah, huh, huh." he breathed a rough breath, feeling tight in his chest. And Dedi again hugged him so that his wife became calmer.

And now they've reached the front of the hospital building, immediately Dedi and Sefia get down and immediately step quickly to the operating room.

They sat waiting anxiously, worried immeasurably. Even Sefia had lost her mind.

"Darling, it's all just a dream, right? It's not real, is it?"

Dedi could only hug his wife who had even sobbed unstoppably.

"She must be fine, baby." said Dedi trying to calm down.

Shortly after, the doctor came out the door and Dedi immediately stood up to him.

"How's my son, doc?"

"Praise God, the operation went well and Rian's brother immediately moved the intensive care room. But..." The doctor looked down sad as if his voice was stuck in the throat, making Dedi so worried.

"But why, doc?"

"Better, let's talk in my room." he said. "There are a few things I need to say."

"All right."

They were sitting next to each other to strengthen, not to mention the face of Sefia who already looked pale but she forced to come along to hear for herself what her son's condition was like.

"The operation was successful in some parts that were broken due to a fall. This may be because there was a hard impact on the head but fortunately the bleeding in his brain was not so severe. But, his breathing and vital signs were extremely unstable. More importantly, he had severe hemothorax, so we had to do CPR for almost 20 minutes. But because of hypoxia, his brain will be damaged.” explained the doctor.

"Brain damage, doc?" Dedi.

The doctor nodded. "There's a chance he'll go into a coma or brain death."

Instantly Sefia who heard that instantly held onto her chest that seemed to want to stop beating, while Dedi still asked.

"Is there any possibility for my child to be aware?" ask Dedi expectantly.

"For now I can not give an answer, if it is aware then it is likely that the father will experience mental disabilities." he said. "We can only wait for him to recover and there's an empire."

Hearing that Sefia immediately cried hysterically. "It's just a dream." he shouted, before he really fell limp, fortunately with a quick arrest Dedi and embraced the body of his wife who was already weak like an unconscious person.

"Darling." said Dedi hugging his wife and crying. "Strengthen!"

Now Sefia cried hysterically to see the condition of her son in bed. Various cables and medical equipment were attached all over his son's body. He really wasn't strong to see it.

Even so, he cried hysterically at the condition of his son. The heart of the unsliched old man saw his son who was still healthy in the morning, suddenly in a state of severe injury and unconsciousness.
