42. Exploring the Strange Caves.

The woman in front of him is very beautiful. For humans, it looks like 20 years old.

Leo was curious about the place that Phinix meant. "what is that place? Where's the location."

Leo walked after Phinix. They headed to a small cave that was on the edge of the crater.

'it is fitting that he did not investigate this cave. His body size would not fit if it entered with his Phoenix shape.'

Leo tried to spread the mana to check which flow from inside the cave. However, he could not feel any flow at all. Even the structure of the cave itself was not detected.

"let's go in to check on him." Leo came in followed by Phinix who ducked down.

On the way, they found a ladder leading down. The staircase is spiral in shape with a distance unknown to Leo.

They were down the stairs for a long time. But still not at the end of the stairs. They kept going without knowing how long they would be there.

"how far is this ladder?" Leo muttered lamenting the distance from the stairs he came down.

Phinix was worried about his master's condition which seemed to begin to emotionally get the way of the stairs very far.

"sir is okay? Should we rest first?" phinix's beautiful voice resuscitates Leo from the trouble in front of him.

Leo tried to attack one side of the wall, but his attack bounced back to the center of the room and disappeared.

As if he had a clue, Leo tried to attack each side of the wall. And in the end his attack bounced towards the middle of the room. Even by predicting the direction of reflection in the other direction, but still heading towards the middle of the room.

Leo pulled out his sword and slashed the center of the room. Hoping that his guess was correct that the middle was a magic rune.

The sword attack coupled with the fire magic he used. Leo did not cut anything. Instead the fire magic seemed to be absorbed towards the upper side.

"may my guess be right." Leo thrust his sword towards the upper middle.

A small explosion occurs and Leo's feelings return to normal. A few streaks of magic runes were seen on each side of the wall and then disappeared.

Assuming that magic is already able to attack the wall, Leo uses wind element magic to try it.

His efforts were successful and the wall was seen to be damaged.

Phinix who saw Leo succeed, felt proud and happy. He keeps watching Leo attack every wall until at the last wall, they find something that makes Leo back upset.

There is another ladder that goes down.

"fucking shit! Stairs again. I've been allergic to ladders for a long time." Leo was very upset with the rise of the stairs.

"huh... All right let's get down." Leo dispels his sense of regret and hopes that this ladder is not as long as the first ladder.

Phinix feels noticed by Leo to be happy. "alright! Master!"

They're going downstairs. But unexpectedly, this second ladder is not as long as the first ladder.
