Livy sighed feeling deceived by herself. He knows himself very well, he is very selfish and will do everything to achieve his goals, even if it hurts him.
He realized it was a disease, even though it seemed to have been better when he was growing up but the disease never disappeared.
"Although cruel but I've never hurt anyone directly before" Livy said, muttering, though he didn't know if he had done it here.
Tok.
Livy stared at the door sharply "Who?" he sat in the chair as if nothing had happened.
"I'm Miss" Dalin replied briefly, Livy did not answer and Dalin went inside. Livy narrowed her eyes looking at Dalin elaborately.
"What's wrong?" livy asked briefly, Dalin bowed and replied calmly "Master Duke is calling you" Livy just nodded her head in response to Dalin's words.
"I'll be there, you don't have to come!" livy flat said. "Well miss" Dalin resigned. After Dalin left, Livy also went to his father's office.
Arriving there he immediately entered gracefully. Livy looked at her father who was being piled up with a pile of documents with a frown. (only proverbs)
He felt that if every saw his father always accompanied by a pile of documents, he was worried that if this continued his father would be sick.
"Dad" said Livy to distract the Duke from the documents in his hands. Duke raised his head and looked at Livy with an affectionate look even though his face still remained flat.
Livy actually wants to be formal but if he thinks about it he rarely meets his father other than eating or studying politics with his father.
Although he also wanted to spend more time with Duke yet he did not want to interfere with his work. In fact, he was very happy that Duke had become his father.
Because even though it's busy any Duke will always pay attention to it and always spend time eating together. That is what makes him softer to them.
...
"Dad what you want to talk to me about" asked Livy, tilting her head.
Duke placed the documents on the table and looked at Livy softly. "There's soon to be your engagement to King Crastine, but I think it's better to rewind the schedule because you've just recovered"
Livy is speechless at hearing her father's words, but it is dangerous that if she does not formally engage Juan because she plans to satisfy the body owner's obsession that she must interact with Afgaren.
Although the Duke may grant all his wishes but who does not know if he used to be very crazy about Afgaren. If he is close to Afgaren without formal engagement with someone who has equal status then in the end he is the one who is in trouble.
'I don't like that Afgaren anyway, I'm just going to use her to let go of the body owner's obsession and take over her body completely' Livy is a very selfish person, he did not feel guilty for seizing the bodies of others nor for seizing the families of others.
He only had one principle, if indeed it had already fallen into his hands eating it was his right. After all it wasn't that he had deliberately snatched it away, therefore he didn't feel guilty at all.
Yet he still had a little bit of compassion, in return for giving his body to himself he would realize the wishes of the owner of the body and would treat the person who was precious to him well.
...
Livy pondered his father's words long enough and Duke also did not want to bother him to think.
"I have no problem with the engagement even if I lose my memory, also the engagement will be done in a few days and the invitation has been spread. I don't want Dad and Juan in trouble" Livy said with a sweet smile.
The Duke sighed then nodded, "Then stick to the original plan" Although he was reluctant but his love for his daughter was greater than anything. Moreover, she did not want to make Livy sad because her wishes were not fulfilled.
Because he was a stiff and cold man he could not understand what his daughter needed, all this time she thought if she fulfilled all her desire to eat Livy would be happy but because of her stupidity that made her daughter wretched.
Because of that Duke decided to ask Livy's opinion more often for matters concerning him, he also wanted to communicate a little with his only daughter.
A beloved daughter whom he holds dear and is the greatest gift from his wife, though he has two sons but only when Livy is born his frozen heart melts away, although it must be accompanied by the death of his wife but he never hated his daughter.
Because she knew it wasn't her fault, she was the one who was greedy to make Livy present in the world but even if the time was reset she would never regret it. He believes his wife also agrees with his opinion.
