Eps. 9: First Day

Shortly before the banquet, Grace met someone she knew. The woman with a small semicolon tattoo on her left arm was casually enjoying the night air in the rooftop so calm.

Grace walked up to the woman while occasionally lighting fire for the cigarette that was already between her lips. The woman also realized she was being approached by Grace, but she was silent, as if she understood what she meant and what she came for.

"How are you, Lynx?" Grace asked, she puffed up the fine smoke from her mouth. The woman Grace called 'Lynx' just looked at Grace, then a few seconds later started opening her mouth, "it never went well, Grace."

Grace chuckled, "the Wild family is indeed too unique, no wonder the Game Master is attracted to the elo."

Lynx took a sip of the night, "I should realize, you guys were part of the conflict in my family. I didn't expect to be here to settle my father's grudge, but I hated him too."

"Let the wolf be your father, Lynx. I'm sorry I only watched when he died." Obviously Grace, her tone started to drop.

Suddenly a strong wind blew the long hair of the two of them.

I woke up with a strange surprise, my body was trying to be alert, my brain is processing all the circumstances of each scene began to realize. I woke up in a room with dim lights that made the atmosphere more tense.

I felt my whole body for fear that something I did not realize was taken from me, but it turned out that everything was still in its position.

Cold sweat poured out of fear even though the air in this room was quite cold, and when I was close to the light of the room lamp, I realized that next to me also lay Vivi who had not been conscious.

In a panic I approached Vivi's body while shaking her body so that she would wake up immediately, "Hey, wake up Vi." Ah no! "Hey, wake up 09." Soon, Vivi began to move her eyes, and she woke up to the same shock.

"Where is this?!" He said hysterically, "gue doesn't know either!" Reply me quickly.

Vivi felt her own body, "lo what am I?! Why are we in this room together?" Worry again, I am also not fully aware that I can only defend myself as it is.

We walked through the room, but there was nothing strange about it, except when we saw two large boxes lying in the corner of the room, the box was locked with an inscription, 'open with the date of birth.' suddenly, Vivi and I looked at each other.

"09, I think, the centrifuges have begun."

"We're trying to open this box first."

Vivi nodded trembling.

Finally we tried to open this box by entering our birth date password, before long a sound was heard *click signifying that this box could actually be opened using our birth date password. "Gue think they've cracked all our identities." Said Vivi, I just validated with a nod.

We both let out a short sigh with a lingering fear, closed the box we lifted slowly, and from inside the box we only found the two compulsory items we had to carry according to the Centrifugal regulations.

I saw, the thing Vivi brought was a dagger and pepper spray. "Yes, these are just 2 things that can help our lives. Lo bring what?"

I also showed 2 things that I brought, it was a P3K box and a box of gum. Vivi's wide-eyed, "the P3K box is okay, but bro! seriously lo? Chewing gum?!" I nodded in embarrassment, "i-iya, gum helps me to stay calm."

Vivi sighed again, "maybe I'm not mistaken so you partner."

But I tried to convince Vivi, "gue won't hinder you, I promise!" I said while calming, fortunately Vivi immediately smiled again after showing a tense expression. "Okay, how else, right? I hate my life, dying here is no problem."

Hearing that I only replied with a pushy smile, "at least we're trying to win." I tried to encourage her, and Vivi nodded slowly.

Long story short, after affirming our awareness, Vivi and I have mentally prepared to come out of the room to see the situation outside. Vivi slipped her dagger in a fairly deep pants pocket, along with her pepper spray. While I just bagged some gum, because I can't bring the big enough P3K box.

"Lo ready?" I held the doorknob while convincing Vivi.

"Ready." Answer Vivi.

And we came out of the room, and after the door opened, we stared at the two hallways from our left and right sides. "We... Is it in the apartment?"

"Yes, I think we're in different rooms."

"Okay, if so we're looking to go out of the apartment."

I, and Vivi stepped into the hallway on the right side which was also the atmosphere was dim, the entire hallway was filled with lights with dim lighting that seemed deliberately made this way. "There's someone else here." I said, Vivi walks behind me carefully, while I lead the way because I believe the sound of that step is coming from in front of us, and also... From the rhythm of his voice, they also sounded cautious upon hearing our footsteps.

Closer, more alert are we, and so are they. And... When we were in the area near the elevator where the middle area of the two aisles met, there the four of us looked at each other's faces. We found two men with facial features that are no less vigilant but also intimidating, they are...

"Gue thinks 02, panic just anj*ng." Say one of them. "What number are you two?" Ask me.

"Gue 07." He said, these two men have a typical body that is much more athletic than me even though our height is the same, they each hold a baseball bat in his right hand.

"We've come to our senses from a few minutes ago, and we're going around looking for clues, but we're afraid to meet the 02 psychopaths, so we're carrying guns." Answer 08.

With mixed feelings, and the recklessness gathered by fear, we prepared for all sorts of worst possibilities.
