Dinner

Upon arrival in Jakarta, Josh intends to invite Freesia to visit his family at the main mansion after getting a message from Lynda if they will hold dinner with the extended family Janzsen.

Freesia was ready, the little girl was wearing black jeans and a peach-colored hoodie, with hair on the top bun showing off her tie neck.

"Come on Josh" he asked the man sitting on the couch and playing with his phone.

Josh turned his head, the man then stood up and observed the appearance of his little wife. "Mm Frey, don't you have a dress?" he hesitated a little.

Freesia shook her head quickly because she did not have a dress, so far Freesia is more comfortable using her pants and hoodie.

"All right, let's go, '" Josh stepped out of his house and followed Freesia behind him. Both of them immediately left home using Josh's luxury sports car.

On the way, Josh stops and parks his car in front of a boutique. "We buy clothes first, yes" he said, turning to Freesia.

"Did my appearance embarrass you?" freesia asked as she checked her appearance.

"No, I like your style. But Lynda invited Janzsen's extended family, so we have to dress a little formally. I'm also going to buy a suit inside" Josh explained quickly, not wanting Freesia to misunderstand his good intentions.

"Okay, since it's a family dinner, I won't embarrass you" Freesia smiled, the little girl got out of the car and into the luxury boutique.

Inside the boutique, Freesia was confused about which clothes would suit her. Almost all of the clothes in the boutique were luxury dresses that Freesia said lacked materials. After more than half an hour looking for a dress that suits her, Freesia finally chose a halter neck off the shoulder dress made of lace yellow because she thought only the dress was not too open.

"The right choice, miss, this dress will make you appear more classy," said an employee who has been accompanying Freesia to choose a dress. "Let's come with me, Mr. Josh asked me to put on your makeup" he added, smiling, the employee then stepped into a room and followed Freesia behind him.

After a while, Freesia walked out of the room, her new appearance making Josh speechless, her straight gaze not blinking at all. Freesia is so beautiful in a yellow dress and hair that she deliberately stalls to make the impression more mature. Josh even subconsciously let go of the phone in his hand when he saw Freesia walking towards him.

"How do I look Josh?" freesia asked nervously, she was afraid that Josh would dislike her appearance. "Josh," call Freesia again because Josh is daydreaming instead.

"Eh, why Frey?" josh said nervously, the man then grabbed his phone that fell on the floor.

"Am I fit to wear this shirt?" freesia asked Josh for her opinion.

"Very fit, you're so pretty!" josh answered quickly, but the next second he cursed his folly for blatantly praising the beauty of Freesia. While the praised girl bowed shyly with blushing cheeks.

"Let's go," asked Josh with a flat face, but actually his feelings rumbled. I don't know what happened, it's just that Frey's appearance that looks more mature makes him a little interested.

Upon arrival at the Janzsen family residence, a servant immediately escorted Freesia and Josh to the dining room as the entire family had gathered. The arrival of a married couple certainly attracted the attention of everyone, let alone the appearance of Freesia who was so different made everyone there stunned by the beauty of the little girl.

"Voila, you're so beautiful brother-in-law" Jonathan praised as he watched Freesia's performance from toe to toe.

"Thank you Jo," Freesia replied awkwardly, because Jonathan's gaze made her a little uncomfortable.

"Axel," cried Freesia restrained, come on the girl forgot that Axel was also part of the Janszen family.

"Sit down" said Josh, pulling up a chair for Freesia.

"Thank you."

"Hem" Josh sat next to Freesia.

"You look a little different Frey?" lynda said with a smile, but the old woman liked the appearance of Freesia who she thought looked more mature.

"Help, the cunning girl must have spent Josh's money to improve her appearance and make fun of it" said Katherine.

"Sister-in-law, is not it Josh's obligation to meet the needs of his wife, then what's wrong Miss Freesia spend the money to beautify herself, anyway all that also returns to Josh. A woman must be good at beautifying herself so that her husband does not play with other women," Willy chanted along with a satire, because Willy was aware of Jimmy's affair scandal.

"So you're saying I'm not good at beautifying myself so Jimmy's playing with other women?" Katherine felt insinuated by Willy's words.

"Sister-in-law, Willy does not mean that, please forgive my wife," said Jerry Janzsen, the second son of the Janzsen family and also a famous businessman in Indonesia. Unlike Jimmy who continues the family business, Jerry prefers to start his own business with Willy since the two are not married. Jerry's attitude is also different from his brother, Jerry is a man who is very loyal to his partner.

"When do we start eating?" axel asked in annoyance, he deliberately came to his grandmother's house because he heard Freesia was coming, Axel only wanted to meet Freesia but instead heard the debate between adults.

"Well, since everyone is gathered, let's start eating!" said Lynda and immediately nodded by her children and grandchildren.

Everyone then enjoyed their dinner solemnly, no one spoke at all, only the clang of spoons clashing against each other, creating a distinctive melody in the dining room.

"Well, the cooking is great."

Freesia's words made everyone look at her, Freesia suddenly clumsily and felt strange as all the gazes were fixed on her. "A-what's up? Did I say it wrong?" he looked at Josh.

"In the Janzsen family, everyone is forbidden to talk while eating. Commoners like you definitely don't know when eating, right? Your parents must have never taught you such trivialities," replied Katherine, staring in disgust at Freesia, she was so fond of not liking Freesia.

"Look at you Kathe!" scold Jimmy directly. It was Katherine's self-loving and arrogant attitude that made Jimmy sick and looking for another woman outside.

"I'm sorry ma'am, I'm not used to being in the middle of the Janzsen family. And what you're saying is the truth, my parents never taught me anything trivial like this because they died when I was a kid. In the future I will improve myself, beg for guidance," Freesia then stood up from her seat, the little girl bowed her body as a sign if she apologized and regretted her actions. But deep in her heart, the little girl felt sad because Katherine had insulted her in front of everyone and Josh did not defend her at all.
