Freesia sat pensively staring out the window with a blank look. The girl was condemning her stupidity so she had to be trapped in an absurd marriage with Josh, although on the one hand Freesia was happy because all her dreams and prayers seemed to be granted by God, he said, but the marriage still worries him.
"Miss Freesia where should we go see your aunt? I mean, should we go to the flower shop or your house?" josh asked breaking the silence, Freesia who was still dissolved in her daydream did not respond to the question of the man sitting next to her.
"Miss Freesia," repeated Josh as he patted the girl's arm.
"Eh, yeah, what's up?" said Freesia with a dazed face.
"Where should we go? To the house or the flower shop?" Josh repeated his question again, the man feeling guilty at a glance looking at Freesia's confused face.
Freesia examined the clock that was coiled around her wrist, and she realized that a diamond ring was embedded in her ring finger. The girl went back to daydreaming, staring at the ring adorning her fingers.
"Miss Freesia," called Josh because he didn't get an answer from Freesia.
"Still five in the afternoon, aunt must still be in the store," Freesia replied after returning her consciousness, the girl then looked back out the window, enjoying the afternoon view of Jakarta.
Shortly after, Josh pulled over his car across from Anne's florist, the man was about to discuss their marriage.
"Miss Freesia, it looks like we should talk about this before we meet your aunt" Josh said, staring at the girl who was staring at him.
"It seems that it must be" replied Freesia softly.
Prangs...
From a distance there was a commotion along with broken glass, Freesia and Josh turned their heads and looked straight at the source of the commotion. Freesia widened her eyes when she saw some rogue thugs coming out of Anne's shop. Shortly afterwards Anne also came out of the store with a shabby appearance, her face looks flushed like a scar hit.
"Who are they?" ask Josh curiously.
Freesia was silent, unable to answer the question of the man who is now her husband. Freesia knows the thugs so well, they are the henchmen of the leech who has been ensnaring Anne for months. Previously Anne never had debt, until one year ago suddenly the flower shop suffered a big loss because of a fire. Some ways Anne has done to re-open her flower shop, all her savings she used to renovate the store that became her source of income, but unfortunately the savings are not enough to require Anne to find additional money. Anne had applied for loans to several banks, but all of them were rejected because Anne did not have collateral, until finally Anne was desperate to borrow money on the leech.
"Sir Josh, what would you give me if I were willing to continue this marriage?" Freesia turned her head and looked at Josh with teary eyes.
"What do you mean?" ask Josh to be confused.
"Said Lynda I have to continue this marriage in order to keep your family's good name right?"
"Hem," Josh just muttered as he felt guilty about the little girl.
"How long do we have to do this wedding?"
Josh is quite surprised to hear Freesia's question, but Josh feels there is a breath of fresh air as it means he will not tarnish his surname for now. "Maybe for a year until they forget that we're married" replied Josh hesitantly.
"All right then. I'll help you, but you also have to help me?" said Freesia without the slightest hesitation, her teary eyes emanated an enormous determination.
"Tell me what to do?" ask Josh.
"Can you pay all my aunt's debts, the total might be around a hundred million rupiahs!"
Josh was again surprised, for the size of a teenage girl, Freesia was too brave in acting, Josh did not expect that Freesia would sacrifice herself for the sake of the aunt.
"Did the thug come to collect the debt?"
Freesia just nodded. "How, do you agree?"
"You won't regret it?" josh asked to make sure before he agreed to the terms of Freesia.
"All right then. We'll talk about the marriage contract later. Now that we just need to see Anne, Lynda is waiting behind!"
Freesia nodded softly, her heart beating so fast when Josh returned to the car and now parked in front of Anne Florist, Freesia was so nervous, the girl even squeezed her own hands.
"You okay?" josh asked worriedly, because Freesia's face looked pale.
"Yes, I'm fine" Freesia replied quickly, the girl then got out of the car with a stiffened face.
"Strong girl" said Josh, the man followed Freesia down from the car.
"Why did you stop so long," lamented Lynda who also got off her car. "Sir, you just wait in the car" Lynda told her private driver.
"Let's go in Granny!" Freesia walks into the store next to Josh, who is pushing Lynda's wheelchair. The three people were surprised to find a very messy flower shop.
"Bi" said Freesia with trembling lips, the little girl approached Anne who was tidying her flowers.
"Frey why you've just come home, aunt is so worried" said Anne sadly, the woman hugging her niece. In her heart Anne felt grateful that Freesia was gone when the thugs came.
"Sorry bi," is just an apology Freesia can say.
Anne took off her embrace, the woman then looked at her niece's face which looked different. "You're wearing makeup?" search Anne.
Freesia touched her face, the girl just remembered if she forgot to remove the makeup that adorned her beautiful face.
"Ekhem."
Freesia did not have time to answer the aunt's question, the two women turned their heads when they heard Deheman Lynda.
"Mr Josh" said Anne, who immediately recognized Josh. "Sorry sir, our store is closed" said Anne, who thought Josh had come to buy flowers.
"I didn't come for flowers, I came because I wanted to ask Freesia of you!"
"What do you mean?" anne asked, the beautiful woman could not hide her surprise.
"We're married and we want to tell you that!"
"What's? Marry? Haha... Mr. Josh, you're so funny. Fresia is only 18, she's even in school so how could you get married" Anne said in disbelief.
"Sorry, sir Josh is right, we're married!"
Anne looked back at her niece, the woman still did not believe their words. "Frey don't joke with me, I'm not in the mood to joke!"
"But Frey is serious bi, we're married!" firm Freesia while showing the sneakers on her ring finger.
As if her world was collapsing, Anne felt her head being hit by a very heavy burden. The niece he had been guarding with all her life suddenly admitted to having married a foreign man she had only met a few months ago. Anne's great hopes for Freesia seemed to be dashed, the woman felt claustrophobic as if Freesia had betrayed her.
"Sorry bi, sorry," Freesia's inner self was contemptuous, but she had to stay firm for Anne's sake, seeing Anne's swollen face made Freesia even more convinced that her decision was right.
"Get out of here, I won't see you again!"
BE PATIENT...
