Ch. 3

Arkan brought his seat closer to Hamka. He intends to cooperate with her.

"I will offer a mutually beneficial cooperation for us. If you agree I promise to protect you and clear your name."

"Hmmm I trust you Captain, you're the most loyal and reliable soldier!"

"Yes, in the name of our friendship both in the past, now and forever."

"It's not that easy, Captain. I'm not the only leader in this fight. I also have a leader who has more power than me."

Good, he's starting to get hooked. I had to extract deeper information from him.

"This partnership is what I'm offering you, man. I want you to return to the peace of your country, I want you to live a better life with your wife and children, without having to hide like this."

Hamka spoke using a secret code they had learned together. He handed the codes over to Arkan.

"I trust you, Captain! Get ready, I'm waiting for the Red Cobra to pick me up!"

Arkan saluted, and prepared to return to headquarters. He did not expect Hamka to be able to go this far. Arkan took his army back.

After arranging Hamka Hambali's arrest strategy, they began preparing a scenario.

Tonight they will scout the enemy base from afar, then attack the rebel forces suddenly at dawn.

Arkan is in the front row. He ordered his troops to be more vigilant. Until the waiting time came, they pounded the rebel forces who began to lose their guard due to drowsiness.

The sound of gunshots could be heard unpretentiously breaking the silence in the middle of the forest. Arkan's men broke into the enemy base, they blew up their arsenal.

Black smoke billowed, fire began to seep into other buildings. Arkan quickly brought Hamka away behind a puff of smoke. Two whole hours they fought almost without a fight.

"Take those who are still alive to the camp, tie them up and put them in the cells!"

"Ready on Captain!"

Sergeant Sandi approached Arkan who was still observing his surroundings.

"Captain's authority reports, what's the main target for escaping?"

"Sergeant Password, get ready for the next crazier battle! Now blast this rebel base, level it with the ground, not a single piece of debris left! Throw their dead bodies into her!"

Arkan is still not packing, this makes his troops surprised.

"Captain, are we not going home?"

"Oh you guys go back first. There are things I still need to finish. Tell Praka Ihsan, rest well until the wound recovers."

The soldiers returned to their units. But Sergeant Sandi cancelled his return.

"Handword? Why are you back?"

"I'll be back with you, Captain"

"I'm actually something I keep a secret from you! I want to finish it myself!"

They walk through the forest, on the way Arkan tells about the mission they will face next. Sandi just silently listened. They returned to the rebel stronghold that had been burned. Arkan paused for a moment, he threw an object made of metal between the rubble.

"We must leave immediately, before the investigation team arrives!"

"Good Captain!"

They continued to travel far down the hill and arrived at a cave near the edge of the river. They were welcomed by Hamka.

"Arkan, I know you won't let me down!"

"Prepare Hamka, I'll take you to a safer place!"

They walked back down the river. Keep walking until they find a village that is still far from the word modern.

They decided to spend the night there. At first the villagers were frightened, but after trying to communicate with the village leader they were warmly welcomed.

"Thank you to all the villagers who are willing to accept our arrival. Introduce me Captain Arkan, and my two colleagues Sergeant Sandi and Sergeant Hamka"

Hamka whose name is referred to as Sergeant stares haru at Arkan who is a partner fighting in his team first.

The villagers were busy, preparing dishes and shelter for them. Arkan was talking to the chief there. They were soon ready to rest.

"Hamka, you better be careful. I've reported the news of your death to the central command, I've also thrown your thing between the rubble of the building and the burning corpse."

A silent atmosphere enveloped the small room. The village is very remote, far out of reach. Their electricity is limited. They still use public bathrooms and public WCs. Education and health facilities are also minimal.

Somehow it occurred to Hamka's mind to try to advance this village. While living here there is no harm if I helped fix it.
