CHAPTER 24

Rushing Cardo entered the car, pressed the accelerator, towards Bandrek Hause' where they promised, without saying a word.

"Why did the village disappear?"

Dean and Dony were silent when they heard the old man talking about the village. How possible, they lived there for days turned out to be unknown the existence of the village with residents who passed through it.

What village is that? Is it a different nature village?

Again Dean remembered the parcel given by Sunna in a bushel to be placed in their vehicle.

Dean looked back, and saw a worn-out rant, and asked Cardo to stop their vehicle, "Do, let's stop at the crossroads!" point at.

Cardo turned on the penny lights, stopping the car on the left side of the road.

Dean opened a bushel that originally contained the rendang made by Cardo and Dony yesterday, and also the peace.

Dean's hands shivered as he opened the shabby branch. Slowly he opened the branches of Sunna which turned out to be natural stone and a pile of brown clay to make bricks.

Turning to look at the bushel, the three jumped in shock. How could they possibly be given such a surprise?

Cardo shouted out loudly, "Take it out quickly, Bang! Quickly discard! This will be a very scary thing for Bang Luqman and Kak Cici later!"

Dean recalled Sunna's message, which should not be turned around after leaving Datuk Mangkuto Malin village, "Have we violated the area's ban? Is our food like this?" tanyakanya.

Dony nodded confirming, "We better take this bushel. Don't throw it away, because this is still their territory. Hurry Cardo.... gas up to Bandrek Hause'!!!!" his orders.

Three hours later they arrived at Bandrek Hause', their arrangement with Luqman and Cici. Cici cars are still parked there, tenga enjoy the beauty and coolness of the white horse region which has a different mystery.

As it descended, Dean rushed towards Luqman. Intentions want to convey that they lost the village of Datuk Mangkuto Malin, but currently his lips are locked because he saw a middle-aged man they met in the hills three hours ago, he was offering some fruits in his basket.

Dean looked at Cardo, feeling the strangeness that happened that morning, "Why did the old man arrive here first? Didn't we leave it in the hills?"

Cardo nodded confirming, their faces turning even more pale. However, he abandoned his intention to explain it to the family. Let this be a mystery to the three of them, when they see the intimacy of Akmal and Cici who are joking with jokes.

Is this because they violate all prohibitions that are forbidden to turn around? They just sit back, enjoying the natural beauty of Bandrek Hause', occasionally teasing Mira who is very agile full of cheerfulness.

However, Dean whispered back asking Cardo, "Why doesn't Mira make a sound? Did he have a silence? Yep.... Lord!!!! Why do we experience strange events after returning from the mysterious village?"

For more than two hours they had gathered there, with a curious feeling in their minds. What the hell is going on? What do they not know of Akmal's return? How could Cici not know that her daughter Mira has stopped making funny noises since yesterday? Did they really exchange Mira's happiness for Akmal's return?

All these questions are just puzzles in their heads.

Luqman gave some red money to the old man who brought him fresh fruits from the hills. Of course his intention was to be the hand he had brought to the islands where he had gathered with his family.

Dean took a deep breath, rubbing his face many times violently. Same with Dony and Cardo.

They entered the car, to continue the journey to Pekanbaru. It took three more hours to arrive at each other's homes.

Cici who noticed Dean's worry from the tense look on her face, approached her second brother, venturing to ask, "Abang why? Is there something strange?"

Of course Akmal, as a husband who still needs Cici, tailed his wife.

Dean again undoes his intention to convey what he feels. Concerns for his sister's family are growing. Plus Mira can not make a sound when playing with Oneng.

Sure enough, they left West Sumatra after almost a week leaving their city to continue activities in the real world.

Days change day, weeks change week, months change month. Akmal has regained the family's embrace, and Luqman and Dean have returned to the islands to continue their work.

However, there are still secrets stored neatly in the minds of Cardo and Dony who are still living in Pekanbaru.

It has been more than two months that Akmal had a different life, he decided to quit his career as a Bank manager.

Akmal's resignation letter was rejected firmly by Mr. Sukoco as the Head of the branch.

Mr. Sukoco tore off the paper containing Akmal's resignation, "I disagree! I still need you, Mal!" emphatically.

Akmal let out a long sigh, "But sir, this is what I have to do. Because I want to start a new business and get into politics!"

Mr. Sukoco fused his eyebrows together, "What if Sony's waiting to fully recover? Because it's been almost three months that he hasn't been in the office, and you know we still need each other!"

Akmal could only smile, how could he possibly have to wait for Sony to recover? While at this time what he was thinking about was the condition of Mira who they just realized could not speak.

Cici's panic was again seen, when Mira was declared unable to speak by a pediatrician. Mira's cheerful face changed again, but Cici can remember back, this is Datuk Rajo Omeh's request to him.

Akmal walked out of Mr. Sukoco's room, contacting Cici via his cell phone.

["Assalamualaikum, Bi...!!"]

["Waalaikumsalam, Mi. Mr. Sukoco asked Abi to wait for Sony to recover and stop working, Mi! How can we bring Mira to Malacca? Because Mr. Sukoco is still in need, Abi."]

Cici rubbed her face across there.

["Yes, it's up to Abi! What matters is that we take Mira for treatment. Oya, Ami just remembered. Try asking Upik Raya, do we need to bring Mira to treatment? Or maybe there is something to do with the incident some time ago."]

Akmal just remembered, it had been more than three months since his return to Pekanbaru, he had never been visited by the wife of Bunian. Where's she? Why did he never come?

["Yes Mi! Abi continue to work first yeah!"]

"Did Abi never ask Upik Raya about Mira?" Cici again remembered the small box that Raya had placed on her.
