Chapter 55

Derrick wakes up from his sleep. Every time he came home he was drunk, no matter what he thought. He really didn't pay attention to his wife's son.

His disappointment at seeing Kalila awaited by his sister made him feel defeated. Although Derrick knows now Kalila's sister's wife makes him even sadder. Between wanting to fight for her love, Kalila. Or forget about it by letting it go with her sister. Then, what about his feelings?

Derrick let out a long sigh, the more he would not be able to regain his love because Kalila was currently pregnant with her sister's son which meant that he would become his nephew.

Derrick went in the bathroom, cleaned himself up.

"Papa.." said his daughter entered Derrick's room. Derrick turned to look at his daughter who timidly approached him.

"Yes dear.." Derrick said back kindly, continuing to wear his tie ready to go to the office. His daughter Rania smiled happily because her father did not shout when he called her as he usually did.

"There's an invitation to school for papa" said Rania.

"Why not mom?" ask Derrick indifferently.

"Special to dad pa. The only ones who come later are the fathers." explained Rania.

"really?" looking at Rania in disbelief. Rania handed the invitation to Derrick.

He accepted it and read it. It's a special invitation for Dad. Looks like Derrick's lazy to take care of his son's business. Aside from hating Kamila's mother, Derrick actually wants the boys. But, it turns out Kamila gave birth to a daughter. Derrick's disappointment gets worse when he sees his daughter looking so much like Kamila. I don't know when Derrick hated Kamila so much.

"We'll see later. Do you have time to attend." replied Derrick still indifferently.

"Darling, aren't you at the office?" tanya Kalila saw her husband still lazing in bed with a fairly large report file.

"I'm on leave for the office until you give birth" replied Theo lightly still continuing his work. Kalila was lying next to her husband. He pressed his feet against her husband's feet and his hands hugged her husband's arms. Theo stared happily, especially if his wife was spoiled like this.

Theo's phone is ringing.

"Yes." Yeah."

"..."

"What's wrong?"

"..."

"Yes..."

"..."

"Is that so? Take care of it yourself." replied Theo riled.

"..."

"You call my dad or my brother."

"..."

"I'll work on it." replied Theo, closing his phone without waiting for an answer from across the street.

"Why baby?" kalila asked looking at her husband who was thinking about something.

"It doesn't matter" Theo replied casually continuing to check the documents.

"They need you?" ask Kalila again.

"Who? They always need me."

"Is that important?" ask Kalila.

Theo looked at his wife fixedly, pecking his lips at a glance.

"For me you are more important than anything." Theo replied with a loving look.

"Look, honey, who knows it's important?"

"It doesn't matter" Theo replied directly. Continue to see the documents.

Kalila pulled out her husband's cell phone.

"Hello."

"Darling." exclaimed Theo who was not gubris his wife.

"..."

"Papa." said Kalila.

"Papa?" Theo whispered grabbing his phone.

"Yes pa." Theo replied to his papa across the street.

"..."

"I can't pa." replied Theo.

"..."

"You know why I'm on leave" Theo replied in a panic.

"..."

"Don't. Let me talk to myself." Theo shut the phone down. Frustrated because his father forced him to come to the project site.

"What's wrong with papa?" tanya Kalila saw her husband riled up.

"I don't matter."

"Darling.." already took out his mainstay style with his pupy eyes face.

"Papa told me to go there, look at the project. Besides I said I couldn't." Theo explained indifferently. Kalila seemed to think.

"What if we go there?"

"No." answered Theo directly.

"Eh, what do you mean, baby?" theo asked again, assuring his hearing that what he heard was appropriate for his audience.

"We're there! You and me. You'd be more comfortable if I came along. Aren't we?" kalila.

"You sure this is safe?" theo asked again pointing at his wife's distended stomach.

"of course. You're calmer to take me anyway, aren't you?" kalila.

"Alright" said Theo smiling happily.
