Chapter 40

Kalila sighed, since coming home from Kartika house somehow her husband seemed to have a problem. Like something he thought. Kalila did not urge her husband to talk to her. If she had to know for sure her husband would tell her even if now was not the time.

Kalila went to the kitchen to prepare their dinner and before long, dinner was ready. But her husband hasn't been out of his study yet. It had been over an hour Kalila waited but there was no sign that her husband would leave her room. Kalila stood up to step towards her husband's study.

Tok tok tok tok

"Honey, I can come in." said Kalila but there was no word from inside the room.

Kalila tried to open the door handle and peeked a little into looking for the whereabouts of her husband who turned out to be asleep in his work chair. Kalila walked over to her husband who was sound asleep like he had never slept all day.

Kalila looked at the exhausted face of her husband as well as the anxious face for some reason.

The wall clock of the room shows at 8 pm more, 2 hours of dinner has been missed. Since this afternoon she had not seen her husband eat, she must have forgotten that they were making love.

"Darling..honey.." call Kalila pat Theo gently on the cheek with a gentle tone as well.

Slowly Theo's eyes blinked, frowning.

Staring at his wife inside his eyes that were still not fully open. His eyes looked back at his wife.

"Honey, come, have dinner together." take Kalila in a gentle tone smiling lovingly.

Theo immediately pulled his wife's body, clutching it tightly until Kalila fell into his lap. Theo grinned his head to his wife's chest. Rubbed his face there.

"I'm sorry.I'm sorry.." whispered Theo softly, which was answered by the hair of Theo.

Kalila let her husband, she just stroked her husband's hair as if to provide comfort and attention to give room for her husband to vent his turmoil that was somehow it.

"We... dinner yuk! I... already hungry." asked Kalila after a long silence and no longer heard the stuffing on her husband.

Theo looked up at his wife, whether his wife's heart was made of anything, he was not so troubled by the rudeness of what was happening to him, although he did not ask her the problem, but his wife could always comfort him.

"You haven't had dinner yet?" ask Theo gently.

"All right, we'll have dinner together. I'm going to the bathroom for a second."

"I'll warm up for dinner for a while" replied Kalila, who was taken by Theo.

Derrick packed his things in a suitcase, he had already booked a plane ticket for a morning flight. After finding out his sister and sister-in-law checked out, Derrick decided to come home. The business that must be done on island B has been taken care of. According to the informant he paid for, Kalila worked at his company. And Derrick will surprise Kalila at work the day after tomorrow.

"You're going, baby?" asked Kalila from the kitchen, her intention was to wake her husband who was still sleeping for breakfast but it turned out that her husband had finished bathing and was dressed formally in the office.

"Papa called me yesterday, he said there was a client from abroad who wanted a meeting filed today because tomorrow will be back in the afternoon because there is something that can not be left" explained Theo fix his tie, Kalila immediately helped her husband put her on.

Mr. Jhon who intends to meet tomorrow, finally forced to advance so today. Besides, it's good that Theo also came back from his honeymoon yesterday the day after tomorrow. Until Mr. John doesn't have to see him alone. There is a representative of his youngest son who will explain in more detail about their projects that are already about to begin.
