Today as usual Melody came to campus using her pink headphones, but now suddenly her steps stopped. Right on the seat that witnessed the silence of him and Ali yesterday. 

There was actually guilt lodged in his heart but to be honest Melody was at a loss as to what he should do to Ali. Did he really have to reciprocate the feelings that Ali had for him? Or just to love yourself?

Slowly Melody walked to the seat with her small steps, then she sat there pensively. His past memories are back. Although it has been 1 year, but the pain is still felt to this day.

Flashback 1 year ago..

Jakarta, Pacific Place Mall, 01.10.21

A pair of human children who are mixing love are in one of their favorite places there. Osteria Gia, the woman's favorite restaurant with the best quality of food in Pacific Place according to him.

The woman was Melody Miracle Princess and the man before her was her ex-boyfriend as well as her first boyfriend whom she loved so much with her whole heart.

A waiters came with a menu of food in his hand, giving with great hospitality. “Ai.. What do you want pesen?”

“I pesen as usual aja.” he said short.

“Oh.. Okay.. Sister, we want Spaghetti Aglio oil 1, Caesar salad 1, Lasagnanya 1 with Garibaldi Mocktails 1, Ice lychee tea 1.”

Not long after, the waiters left the two of them. They both waited in silence. Melody who was enjoying the view tonight from the glass of the restaurant while Erick she was silent while staring at the face of the lover as if saving a million words for him but could not say.

Till… 

After they enjoyed the food Melody ordered for the two of them, Erick just opened his voice there.

“What do you want to say? By the way again.. Don't be so serious about your face.”

“Still yes.. I've kept the same, I've loved me with a great love like this. I am grateful to have you beside me.” Erick said with serious eyes staring at the idol.

Melody smiled to herself with Erick's sudden declaration of love. “Iya both. But how did your tumben lebay gini? Usually I'm the one who talks to you and you keep saying I'm lebay.”

Without saying, Erick sat next to Melody then kissed the woman he loved on the forehead 2 times. Although Melody was not understanding what happened to her lover but her heart felt very happy when this one Ice Stone finally can be romantic with her.

“This is a sign of my love for you yes.” Erick said after landing 2 kisses on Melody's forehead making the girl fly more and more float made.

Erick is not someone who likes to say such words of love. Erick's attitude was stiff but it was that attention that made Melody fall for him. 

But that was their last meeting..

Without a word, without a farewell. Like a soldier who loses a war before the real war begins. Confusion seeped into his heart, questioning why did all this happen? Where is the error? Or what problems the man is actually experiencing, but not a single answer that he gets. All the dreams and fantasies they had been building were both shattered without any residual pain left deep in the woman's heart. 

Melody has tried dozens or even hundreds of times to try to contact Erick whether it's through chat, his Instagram and phone but none of his efforts to produce results. He seemed to just disappear like he was blown by the wind. Even Melody has checked the workplace and boarding house, but the results are still nil.

From his office, it was recorded that he had resigned a few weeks ago and he had also not rented a room in kossan which was in central Jakarta.

Since then, Melody has been closing her heart to whoever it is because she doesn't want to feel the pain and hurt anymore. When he gave his whole heart to a man he thought was the best, it turned out to be a mistake and a tremendous pain in him.
