Bony The Scooter
Ch.14 – Small Letter to Akbar

"If God wants two hearts to unite, He will move both, not just one." - quote

\======

Dhewi and I are now hoping to be anxious, because they want to immediately find out the contents of the letter sent by Wulan.

I asked Dhewi how she knew that Wulan was sick, she only replied that the homeroom teacher got a phone call from Wulan's parents and allowed her not to attend school today.

I have a bad feeling about this, because Wulan's parents should still be out of town to take care of her grandmother Wulan, but why would Marjono call the homeroom teacher and say that Wulan is sick?

Is Wulan now out of town and with her parents?

If so, it would mean lying to me again, because yesterday he was still with me, and saying that he did not want to go out of town and would be the new student admissions committee.

Dhewi and I began to read the letter from the wulan that was now in my hands.

\====

Dear Akbar, please,

I beg you not to be angry with me anymore, I always lie to you, even selfishly I snatch you from Dhewi.

But this is my only chance bar. I don't think I'll have another chance. I want you to understand

I lied to you that I was going to be the admissions committee for the new students, I wanted to...

The day you get your exams from school, is the day I also get my exams from the doctor..

One more thing I'm hiding from you, I actually have acute blood cancer and according to the doctor the rest of my age is only a few months.

But I managed to survive this five years, it was all because of my desire to continue with you

The doctor also said that I had to be treated abroad in order to get better treatment, although it also did not necessarily prolong my age

When we graduated Junior High and you were away from me it really tormented my mind.

But now you have come back and I am so grateful to be back with you for even a moment.

But sorry, maybe this time it's my turn to leave you.

When you read this letter, I don't know what my fate will be like anymore, but I wish I could come back with you again like yesterday.

Please apologize to Dhewi for taking you from her.

I really love you bar. I've harbored this feeling for a long time...

May you always be healthy, and will find the girl you deserve.

I've always loved you, though,

Wulans

\====

My hands did not stop shaking while reading the letter from Wulan, because there were patches of dried blood dripping on the letter. I even forgot to breathe while reading the letter from Wulan.

Dhewi's face was pale and seemed to age for several years because he repeated the letter from Wulan which was now in his hands.

Dhewi and I concluded that Wulan was currently out of town, precisely at the hospital where her grandmother was at

outpatient.

I tried to confirm it and asked the address of the hospital to Wulan's neighbor who had given me a letter.

After I got the address, I immediately boarded Bony, not wanting to make Wulan wait any longer.

“You want to go to the hospital bar? I'm coming with ya..”

“It's out of town, if you want to come, we go home first, I want to grab the.” equipment

While at my house I immediately say goodbye to my mother to visit Wulan in the hospital. He allows

and told me to be careful because it will travel far.

I also loaned Dhewi a jacket and helmet for him to wear during this trip. I feel like I want to fly there immediately, I really can't wait to see Wulan.

After traveling for about two hours, we arrived at the hospital. And immediately ask the information center about the room used by Wulan.

“Excuse me buk, want to ask, patient on behalf of Eka Wulan Sari binti Mr Sumarjono is in which room yes?”

I asked the officer who was in the information room.

“Before..”

The middle-aged woman told me to wait and then she looked for the data I asked her, on her computer.

“Mbak Wulan which from next city huh?” Ask the woman to make sure.

“Iya buk.”

“There is on the fourth floor, the braid room 1.”

The officer gave information that it was a special room, and not just anyone could visit the patient who was in the room.

I and the dhewi immediately looked for an elevator to go to the fourth floor, and hoped to see a wulan.

When I got out of the elevator, I met Mr. Marjono who was now talking in front of the officer room on the floor.

I approached him, up close to him there was a restless expression on his face.

“Pak..how is Wulan?” dhewi and I shook hands with him and asked about Wulan's situation.

Marjono sir sighed as I asked Wulan's situation.

“You can see for yourself. Wulan also seems to want to meet you bar.. ”

Marjono sir answered my question as if powerless to tell it

We also followed Mr. Marjono to the Wulan room which turned out that in the room there were two special officers who were on guard.

We also have to enter a special room first to sterilize our entire body.

There were two patients lying weakly on their beds, one was an old woman, who I thought was Wulan's grandmother, and one was someone I knew. It's wulan.

We approached cautiously not wanting to disturb Wulan's rest, Dhewi and I could only keep quiet and look at each other. Didn't expect Wulan to lie weak like this.

Dhewi whispered to me to come closer and sit beside Wulan, I followed him

There was a drop of water at the end of Wulan's eyes, either what Wulan was thinking now, or was holding back her feelings of sadness.

I clasped Wulan's hand gently which now felt cold.

“...Akbar?”

Wulan called me softly and opened her eyes slowly

“Sst...I'm already here.., you don't worry wul..”

I replied with a smile to cover my sadness in front of the wulan.

“Mbak wiie.”

wulan realized the existence of the dhewi who was now standing behind me.

“Wulan..”.

Dhewi wanted to say something, but was restrained because now Dhewi's eyes began to get wet by his own tears

I held back the body of the wulan who was trying to sit down, seeing Dhewi shed her tears.

“You overslept aja wul, dhewi gapapa.” I tried to calm Wulan down

“Mbak wie.. wulan apologize.”

I was forced to give in, and Dhewi now sat in my place beside Wulan, for I knew Wulan must have felt very guilty towards Dhewi, and wanted to speak to him.

“So papa wul.I understand kok.”

Now the two of them hugged each other and shed tears.

Seeing them talking to each other while crying, I did not feel my tears coming down.I immediately remove these tears because I did not want them to see me crying.

Wulan called me and told me to approach her.

It was as if time had stopped for a very long time as the wulan was gently dipping my forehead and lips before the eyes of the dhewi,

He also said it was his last message.

“Bar..thank you already here. You two look very suitable.you should take care of Dhewi..make him happy for me lest he get hurt.”.

“You don't talk like that wul. You're definitely cured.”

My words did not accept the request from Wulan, but as if not to hear me, now Wulan smiled sweetly and spoke to Dhewi.

“Mbak wie, thank you for coming here, at least Wulan still had time to apologize directly to mbak wie. Please replace Wulan to happyin Akbar yes mbak.”

Dhewi was unable to answer her, she just shook her head and sobbed holding back her cries.

An officer came to see us, because our besuk time was up, but Wulan asked the officer for a little time and put my hand together with the hand of the dhewi

“I bless you.. May you be happy.”.

Wulan said that with a sweet smile but her eyes still shed tears.

I embrace the dhewi who came back sobbing crying as he came out of the room followed by the officer who had been waiting for us to come out.

[beep.beep.beep].

When we were back in the sterile room to change our clothes, we heard a beep with a fast tempo and followed by a few steps into the wulan room. Me and the goddess were very worried about that voice.

But we have no power to enter that room anymore.

Now we just sit in front of the room together with Mr. Marjono who is now very panicked and his face looks like several years older.

Mr. Marjono said that the old woman in the room was indeed the grandmother of Wulan. He now resigned when he saw several nurses coming to the room again in a hurry.

It is also seen that some people are now coming to see Mr. Marjono, they all look very agitated. Maybe it was the Wulan family who had just received news from Mr. Marjono.

\====

For almost four hours Dhewi and I were in front of the room, but I was not hungry at all. I told Dhewi to call his family, because it was getting late.

My knees were so limp and I forgot to breathe when I saw two officers pushing the bed

with the patient who had been covered in white blankets all over his body came out of the room.

I can only say’a if it is not Wulan, but I also do not expect that it is not her grandmother.

The sound of crying broke as the doctor said to Mr. Marjono

“Sorry sir, we have tried our best, but God wills another.”

Dhewi and I did not dare to ask Marjono who had just been taken by the officers to the morgue. Because we know that it is not good news for Mr. Marjono or for us.

Two hours later, the thing I was so afraid of happened. The same thing repeated.

But I am very sure, if this time that comes out of the room and covered in blankets all of it is Wulan.

I don't know what convinced me that, but when that lifeless body passed me, this heart hurt a lot. And time went very slow as if it allowed me to see it one last time.

Dhewi can only bow his face and cover it with both hands

All of us who are here feel very devastated by this incident. The two of them had been gone for good at about the same time.
