Eps 3: The Glares.

At 19:23, they arrived home. His worried father went into the house without knocking, laid the trap he was holding, and locked the doors and windows tightly. Busy here and there looking for equipment to increase the security of his house.

At that moment, his wife (Isabelle) is preparing dinner in the kitchen, shocked to hear the noise of the rapidly closing doors and windows, as she heads to the living room, approaching her restless husband.

"Ha... What's the matter with my husband?, why do you look anxious?." said his wife (Isabelle) as she approached her husband (William).

William, full of grief in his heart, took hold of Ace's shoulders and told him to sit. His still curious wife (Isabelle) keeps wondering what happened.

"Ace...., tell me honestly,..... why did you go to that place?." asked William (the father) in a soft tone.

"I don't know dad, why I was there" Ace said slowly.

"What made you go to that place, and I asked you not to get too far from me?" he asked.

Then Ace recounted that as he was playing by the lake, he looked around and was surprised to see a shadow of a child waving hands at him. After that, he remembered nothing more. All he remembered was when he met his father in the cave.

Isabelle kept asking her husband what had happened. Then William told me everything. With a frightened expression, Isabelle looked at Ace, stroked his head, and checked if there was any injury on the body of his favorite child. After speaking, there was a boiling water sound. Isabelle returned to the kitchen, and came back with the delicious food she had prepared for dinner.

"Hmmmm.. okay, forget everything that happened." said Isabelle who tried to put a smile on her face, while putting dishes on the table.

They ate together, full of happiness. While smiling at each other, chew each simple piece of food.

A few minutes passed, Ace who was finishing his meal saw his parents talking about something in a whisper. He looked at his parents.....

"Dad. ..... Mother .....!!! ." rebuke Ace.

"Hmmm, yes." said his parents took turns, with a contrived smile.

"You.... Are you okay???" asked Ace.

"Hmmmm.. yes, of course." replied his father.

Ace was getting suspicious of something. He also continued his eating.

Shortly afterwards, Ace ended his meal, stood up from the chair and walked towards his room.

"Hmmmm.. dad. I'm tired, I want to rest." Ace said.

"Ohhh..my dear, (gut Ace's head), rest. Sweet dreams my dear.." said her mother.

Every step of her way to the room, noticed by her mother's father. When he reached the door of his room, he opened it slowly and closed it immediately. Trying not to create any sound, which he thought to make his parents assume that he was asleep.

He put his ears to the door, trying to eavesdrop on his parents' vaguely-sounding speech.

"Yes, I'm worried that something bad will happen to Ace" Isabelle (her mother) said anxiously.

After hearing his mother's words, he walked backwards. Asking yourself what is really going on with him.

In front of the dining table, William who was thinking about the shadow of the little boy that Ace told him, made him remember one thing, one thing, that at the time Ace was born there was a black shadow coming out of Ace's body.

"My wife, could it be that the shadow of the little boy that Ace said was the shadow that came out of Ace's body?" asked William.

"Hmmm. I can't stop thinking about Ace. Why this must be experienced by him." said Isabelle with sadness.

William continued to wonder what exactly was the relationship between the black shadow and Ace.

Then Ace walked to the mirror in his room, looked at himself and kept wondering what his father and mother had hidden about him. Touching his blindfold, he wondered what was behind the thing that closed his eyes. Then it occurred to him, to try to open that blindfold. Slowly he touched his blindfold from the lower side near his nose, lifting it up slowly. Suddenly...., kkkrruuuukkkk.

"My husband, what if Ace knows the truth?, do we have to tell him everything ?." Isabelle.

William, who was silent at that moment, thought of something, immediately said

"No... it is not yet time for Ace to know that.." ended his conversation because he heard a noise in Ace's room.

They both turned to Ace's room.

"Ace...!!! have you slept?." greeted his mother as she opened Ace's bedroom door slowly.

Ace rushed to his bed, covering his body with a blanket. The door opened slowly, and his mother confirmed that Ace was asleep. After that, her mother turned off the room lights and closed the door. Thinking that Ace had fallen asleep, the two of them (his father and mother) continued the conversation.

Moments later, a torrential rain accompanied by lightning flushed throughout the kingdom. Ace, who was on his bed, took off his blanket, stepped into the window. He saw the trees that were flushed by raindrops that were so swift.

"What is it with me?" said Ace, looking at a tree.

Soon lightning struck next to the tree until its light hurt Ace's eyes. When rubbing his eyes, it was faint that near the tree suddenly appeared the shadow of the little boy that Ace saw while in the lake, looking at him with a sharp gaze. Upon realizing this, the frightened Ace ran to his bed and covered his face, protecting the view from the shadow, until he fell asleep.
