Blasphemy

Blasphemy
Chapter 2: Creating

Flowers are still flowers, trees are still trees, nothing has changed from the world.

All that changed was Roger.

Roger woke up and looked out, the world seemed to be vibrating in waves. Flowers, trees, colors as if turned into flat paintings. What's something behind the painting. Roger tried hard to see it, even leaning body unconsciously. However, like the fish in the aquarium, he was pushed back every time he arrived in front of the painting. Summer was driven out by autumn, Roger only then changed back. More precisely, all of his bad qualities used to come back. He got up and did not check if his hand had turned into a skeleton hand.

Roger could clearly sense the existence of God's energy. Those silver-coloured eyes, the blade-cut lines, the waves under the white robe, were all like a dreamy musk that occasionally flashed through his mind. So, Roger was angry.

The necromancer's disgust towards the Angel Wella did not melt Roger's lustful mind, instead being mastered by him slowly. Many royals have paranoid personality disorder, Roger also seems obvious. However, the way most nobles show their paranoia is by believing that they are nobler than the commoners and superior in every way, whereas Roger's thinking is much simpler; use God's energy to create the Angel of Light as his pet. Roger had never been so thirsty to be strong before. The Angel of Light alone was already so unforgettable, what about the Saints? Only level seven mages could have pets. With Roger's spiritual power, the necromancer chose to abandon the knowledge of the magic circle, as well as the purity of God's energy. When his magic power reached the standard of a level three mage, he might be able to have his own pet.

Faith is a level nine witch. His magic laboratory was a rather quiet two-story building within the academy. Actually as high as any level of Faith's magic, she wouldn't be treated like this, but because Faith was also a masterful alchemist, too, it was more important than her magic power because a high-level magic item was everyone's favorite.

Roger's looks are ordinary. There are two reasons why Faith chose Roger as her student. First, Roger was flattering well. Second, Roger is more test-resistant in front of expensive gems. Roger is not an honorable man who does not steal, he only understands the saying ‘remove small fish for the sake of big fish’. There was one more powerful reason, which was that Faith who was born a commoner would definitely enjoy the taste of being served by a noble. After several women's plays together, Faith and Roger quickly become close and direct. After all, Faith was quite happy to see Roger suddenly studying the magic circle and practicing magic diligently.

“Pak, the symbols in the middle of this magic circle for what?”

“Like the spells you learned, these symbols are drawn to gather magic power that corresponds to space. Magic spells drawn with different magic materials have different functions as well. And the function of the magic circle is determined by the size, type, and sequence of energy collected.”

“Isn't there a lot of magic circle combinations then?”

“If the magic circle is wrongly drawn and then activated, what is the result?” After asking, Roger immediately cursed himself stupidly. Didn't the occasional explosion in Faith's lab explain it? But Roger was lucky enough. As an alchemist, Faith's magic power was lacking, but her knowledge of magic circles was quite good.

Three-quarters of the students in the Rhine Magic Academy were nobles. Low-level nobles like Roger are also often looked down upon. Most of the noble students were not facetious to commoners. However, as fellow elementary-level mages, the gap in magic equipment was enough for noble students to fight commoner students. Due to the financial gap, commoner students could only increase their magic power by diligently practicing. Roger did not have the money to buy magic equipment, nor did he want to practice like a commoner. Therefore, his strength was ordinary. He sometimes bullied commoners and became the chairman outside of the academy.

Day after day passed, the weather became cold. Almost everyone who knew Roger was surprised by the change. The short, fat, shameless man now buries himself in a pile of ancient papers in the library or meditates in a room every day. As the magic power increased, one day when the snowflakes fell, Roger's magic power finally reached the standard of a level three mage. In the past few days, Roger realized a few things. After being completely overhauled, this body possessed explosive power and monstrous agility. “You're more like a monster than a human.” The necromancer made a conclusion. In the early days of soul union, Roger could still telepathize with the necromancer. Now their souls have become one and can no longer distinguish who and who. The conclusion clearly came from a necromancer who knew the structure of the human body and monsters well.

Another thing Roger realized was spiritual power. While Roger was fighting with ‘The Principles of the Wind’ Magic Circle one afternoon, those two silver eyes burned his nerves again. “Interest in one drink one sip.” Roger remembered the beer glass on the window-side table. The thirst for those eyes made him ready to continue drowning in the sea of magic circles, he instead discovered that the beaker was hanging in front of him. As Roger was stunned, the beer glass hit his head hard and the beer soaked his body. After that Roger discovered that his spiritual power could control moving objects. After months of practice without fear, Roger was finally able to throw a cat that stole a meal at home. Compared to magic, this ability was troublesome and useless. However, an understanding of the origin of the world left behind by the necromancer made Roger feel that this ability was very useful. Years later, Roger learns that he is wrong about the necromancer. Her critical ability now turns out to come from a criminal's natural sense of smell to conspiracy.

After all, the big day had finally arrived. Roger happily looked at the colorful circle of magic he had painted at home. This circle of pet callers has been greatly altered because it must correspond to the origin of God's energy. Usually the witches' pets are small monsters such as demons, crows, and black cats, most of which are also used for lurking. Pets have the most direct and close relationship with the witch's soul. The death of a pet would generally also cause a huge blow to the witch. For this, Faith has confirmed that Roger's pet is a boar or a mole rat. Pets of witches are of little use in battle, animals as big as a black tiger. Rather than using pets to fight, it was better to use monsters, strong and safe.

Roger's spell was finished and magic power began to flow into the magic circle. The symbols of the magic circle started to light up and various lights intertwined. When the entire circle lit up, a demonic roar and a hymn intertwined in the center of the circle. Roger was drenched in sweat and his veins stood out. He was trying to support the endless magic circle. A black fog slowly appeared in the center of the circle and continued to drip liquid. The silvery fluid clumps more and more and when it is as much as one person's head, the mass of this object continues to change and roll in the air. Roger cast another spell and placed his hand on the mass of the object in the air. Slowly, a drop of golden water seeped out from Roger's fingertips and fell into the object's mass. The mass of the object suddenly moved strongly, then a cloud of black fog gushed out and covered the entire magic circle.

Roger sat to the side weakly and looked at the magic circle expectantly. Those two silver eyes occasionally flashed. Roger knew that the creature this time would be something the world had never seen before. Whatever it was, he wished this pet had a pair of silver eyes.

Escape disappears. Wordlessly, Roger stared at his new pet; a lump of broken human skeleton.
