3.Vira Change

Today Vira entered the School again after some time he served a suspension from his school, Arum waited for Vira who had not come as well. After waiting for some time, Vira finally came too but she sat not with Arum, but sat down with her other friends. Arum felt confused because Vira suddenly moved her seat like that. Arum tried to keep thinking positively and he immediately took his textbook and started reading it.

"Eh, it turns out that your best friend is aware as well yes, he should have stayed away from you long ago" said someone in front of Arum's desk.

Arum raised his head and it turned out to be Aurel. Arum just kept quiet and did not answer Aurel's words, he tried to stay cool and not care about anyone.

"Songong very lo! You trash!" aurel said as he kicked the table.

Arum gasped softly but he still did not answer Aurel's words. Aurel begins to get upset, she instantly pulls Arum's hair and drops it on the floor. Vira who saw the incident began to be upset and wanted to finish Aurel, but his intention was undo because he remembered his promise to Arum. Vira immediately opened his phone and ignored the incident that happened to Arum.

They are more happy to mock Arum because Vira is now away from him, all the insults are getting worse and worse continue to fall on him. Arum is very saddened by Vira's change, but he only asks Vira not to interfere in his problems as a child of bullying, but he does not ask her to stay away from Arum. Arum continued to cry and often grimaced in pain because they now dared to play physically to Arum. They often hit, kick, push, and drag them.

He always asked his parents to transfer him to another school, but his parents did not allow him. Arum never told his parents because he did not want to make his parents sad. Arum always confined himself in the room, he often treated the wounds on his body.

Arum came home from school just on foot because the distance from his home to school was not so far away. Sometimes, they wait for Arum near the school and on the road route to Arum's house. Arum is back in the bullies by them and sometimes they bully him until his hair is disheveled like crazy.

Arum longs for Vira, a friend who is always with him and always protects him. Every time Arum meets Vira, Vira's attitude is very indifferent to him as if they are completely unfamiliar. Arum never goes to the Canteen, he always goes to the back of the school, he vents all his cries in the back of the School building. He makes poems, cries and so on without being noticed by others.

They approach Arum if they need it and throw Arum away when they no longer need Arum. Devastated, that's how Arum feels, he has lost his best friend and gained a very cruel behavior. The justice of life is so unbiased with him, Arum always thinks that God does not listen to his cries at all. Happy, that's all Arum wants, he just wants to live a happy life without any insults, he just wants to be treated like a Man instead of like an Animal.

As Arum approached Vira, he would definitely stay away and leave Arum, This kind of change made him even more sad. His life was like nothing more if he had to fight with Vira. Vira is the only friend he has, in this school he does not have friends and instead he only has many enemies.

Today Arum came a little late because he did so much work. He was shocked when he saw Vira who was currently gathered with Arfan's genk. Arum does not believe that Vira has become one of his friends Arfan, Vira laughs happily with his friends. Arum passed in front of them bowing his head, but he fell when one of his friends Arfan slid his leg. He immediately woke up and they were all still laughing happily laughing at him.

"Vir, this isn't your friend?" ask Fandi with a laugh.

"Huh? My pal? That's right." replied Vira with a slightly jutek tone.

"Geez, it's so sad not to be recognized, besides where anyone wants to be friends with garbage" replied one of them.

Arum was devastated when he heard such a statement coming out of Vira's mouth. He felt that right now Vira was killing him. Arum continued to hold back his cries and tried not to cry.

"Weak!" Vira said that to Arum.

He was right, Arum was weak and he was strong. Vira does not deserve to be friends with Arum. Children who are always feared by others do not deserve to be friends with children who are always trampled on by their self-esteem by others.

"Vir, if this is not your friend, try dong lo slap him as tight as possible." Arfan asked with a small laugh.

Vira was silent and did not immediately answer Arfan's request. Vira does not want to hurt Arum at all because he still considers him to be his best friend but if he does not slap Arum, surely Arum will feel happy because Vira still thinks of him as his best friend. Vira is actually just upset with Arum because he is too afraid of Arfan and his friends.

"Let's dong Vir, you don't want to." force Arfan with a pushy tone.

Arum looked at Vira and saw that Arum was begging Vira not to slap her. Vira steps her feet closer to Arum, Arum smiles at Vira and Vira returns Arum's smile with her small smile. Arum thinks that Vira will definitely not slap him, but what he thinks is not true, Vira slapped Arum so tightly that it caused a very clear hand to splash on Arum's right cheek.

They all did not expect that Vira had actually slapped Arum. Arum held onto his cheek and then he looked at Vira. He is very disappointed with Vira because he has the heart to slap his best friend. There was no guilt on Vira's face. Vira is completely changed and she does not consider Arum as her best friend. Arum moved a little closer to Vira.

Arum looked at Vira with teary eyes and he said "I don't have a friend who is willing to hurt his own best friend either. You have the heart Vir, you are not my friend anymore, thank you for the slap." Arum said in a trembling tone and then he left Vira.

Vira just looked at him, but when Arum said that his heart was very sick, he also felt disappointed that he had hurt Arum. They were all just silent and did not dare to say a single word, they were still not expecting the incident they had just seen. But Arfan looks ordinary, there is no look of a face that feels sorry or feels bad with Vira, he looks calm as if nothing happened.

Vira looks at her hand which is now turned red because it had slapped Arum. Vira goes straight to class to find Arum. Arriving in class, no Arum is usually reading his book in class. Vira also looks for her in the bathroom, cafeteria, library, and in all corners of the School but does not find her whereabouts. Vira asks with some of his friends but no one knows of his whereabouts.

"Where the hell is Arum?" vira's mind was getting more anxious.

Arum wrote a poem in his diary, he tore up the paper he had just written and put it in his pocket. He clenched his hands while crying, it was better for him to be bullied excessively by his friends than for him to have a fight like this with Vira.

"You don't deserve to live, Rum. You live only to be despised" His mind wept.

Vira is not calm because until now Arum has not entered his Class as well, not usually Arum goes like this and he is sure that Arum is crying and all that because of his actions.

"Where arum? She sick?" ask Bu Widya to all her friends.

"No idea, Mom." Answer one of the students.

Ms. Widya did not think too much about it and she continued her studies again. Vira is increasingly unsettled and increasingly anxious about Arum's current whereabouts which he still has not found.

Some people also felt astonished by the sudden disappearance of Arum, they all did not see Arum at all and the last time they saw him at school and at the time of the lesson until school they did not see Arum. Some are concerned about the news of the mysterious disappearance of Arum and some are also indifferent to the news, he said, they argued that this was only Arum's reasoning and an image of him so that he would be more dear to the teachers.
