~ Author's POV ~
In the silence of the night, only the sound of crickets coming together accompanied Betrand when he awoke from his sleep.
Many times he tried to close his eyes, but he could not fall asleep.
Oh my God, how unfortunate this child is.
The memory of the dispute between his parents and brother a few minutes ago made him unable to fall asleep.
Out of boredom, he idly stared at the ceiling of his room.
From the outside of the window, he saw the scattered stars adorning the sky.
In plain terms, he smiled too
He remembered the words of his brother.
Yes, my sister once told me about
'Stars. '
🌃🌃🌃
That night, unlike usual, Betrand was still awake. As usual, before Aulia fell asleep she first went to Betrand's room to make sure her sister was asleep or not.
And he found his little sister sitting by the window.
"Who.., Betrand? How come you haven't slept, Grandpa?" aulia asked gently as she approached her sister.
"Not sleepy, Brother!" he answered briefly with eyes that continued to look up at the sky.
"What the hell's up, Dek? Seriously very," said Aulia while following the direction of Betrand's view.
"That's you, brother. I saw the stars" he replied innocently.
"Be good, brother!" continue while smiling.
"Yes, beautiful as Betrand!" reply Aulia while smiling.
Betrand only stared at his brother at a glance.
"Hm... Betrand don't want to hear a story about the stars?" bargain Aulia while stroking her sister's hair.
"Yes.mau dong,Sir!" betrand stared at Aulia with great enthusiasm.
"But after this Betrand had to sleep, huh?" aulia.
"Good, Brother."
Betrand was told while he lay down.
"Anything is, Brother...a star that can't emit its own light?"
"Yes, ada. Her name is a pseudo-star" answered Aulia.
"She's, Brother!"
"Really, you know! So they're just reflecting light received from other stars" explained Aulia.
Betrand simply nodded while holding his brother's hand.
"Well...Betrand must know the unique facts about the stars!"
"What is it, brother?"
"But almost every part of our body is made of stars. Why could it be? Stars have an age limit too, Deck!If he dies, he will explode and spread throughout the universe. The content of the star will cause the formation of several things, such as the earth. After that came evolution, and finally man appeared on earth."
"Well...! Very cool, brother!" betrand in Aulia's lap.
At that time, Aulia reported some unique facts about the stars, but behind it all, it turned out that he wanted Betrand to appreciate such little things and take many lessons from the 'simple but unique.'
"Well.from this story Brother wants Betrand to take a lot of lessons!" aulia said as she glanced at her sister with a glance, confirming whether Betrand had fallen asleep.
But in fact, Betrand seems very enthusiastic about listening to the story that is very interesting.
"Betrand, there are many people out there who take things like this for granted, Dek.But behind this there is all the meaning behind it!
Yep...Betrand must believe that everything on this earth must have a meaning or a reason why it happened!" aulia's advice while stroking Betrand's head.
"Betrand wants to learn from the stars! Betrand had to be that way, so a tough, tough, patient kid in going through these days!" aulia said softly while smilingly looking at Betrand.
"Sister would too, Betrand learned from the light emitted by the stars. Betrand must remain enthusiastic in achieving the ideals. Since Betrand is great, you have your own advantages and potential, Deck ! And I'm sure Betrand can prove it all by himself!" aulia continued, clasping Betrand's hand tightly.
"Yes, Brother! I promise.. I will be happyin Brother, Betrand wants to be a successful person!" betrand said as she placed her hand on her brother's cheek.
"Yes, honey, I don't believe Betrand can!" reply Aulia while kissing Betrand's forehead.
Betrand just nodded...
"Well, it's time Betrand slept!" said Aulia while improving her sister's sleeping position.
~Rainbow, Star, and Moon~
Those are the words Betrand always remembered.
From within his heart, he promised wholeheartedly to be a human being who takes many lessons and can succeed from things
'simple yet unique.'
