S2. The seven month event

It's been 2 months..

Today is the day that Fany and Alvero's wedding is titled. Zahra sat at the very front along with Hanan on her right, while on her left was Mama Hana and papa Nanda.

The next day, a seven-month event was on the title. Attended by several invited guests and neighbors around. Hanan and Zahra chose to use the Javanese custom as a seven-monthly event, or what is called mitoni/tingkepan.

The show starts with sungkeman. Hanan and Zahra had to bow to their parents to ask for prayers and blessings. Since Zahra's parents are no longer there, it is Fany's parents who become his representatives.

After the event, proceed with a flush. Zahra will be poured with water flowers by 7 people, among others, ritual leaders, husbands, parents of future mothers, parents of prospective fathers, and other elders.

The procession drops raw chicken eggs from inside the kemben. This ritual is performed by Hanan. The procession is a symbol that the baby will be born easily without any obstacles.

After that, the Pantes ritual. Zahra changed clothes seven times, Millens.  When Zahra was wearing the first to sixth clothes, she had to ask, “It is appropriate yet?”

Then the guests will answer, “But not yet deserve”. Until the seventh clothes will be answered, “It is appropriate.”

It's not finished here. Hanan had to break off the sawe thread wrapped around the mother-to-be's stomach. It was as a symbol of breaking the ari-ari.

There's more they have to run. Angrem procession. Zahra will sit on the pile of cloth she was wearing. It became a symbol that she would maintain the pregnancy carefully and affectionately.

Meanwhile, Hanan would feed his wife with tumpeng and white red porridge as a symbol of affection as well.

Finally, they arrived at the last procession, the dodol rujak procession. Zahra will make a rujak accompanied by Hanan. While the guests will queue to buy using fractions of the rug as the currency. The procession means that the child will get abundant sustenance later.

After all the events were over, the guests were very happy. Zahra immediately entered the house with her family.

"Thank you, my mother is the same father who already wants to be the representative of Zahra's parents. Thanks to my best friend."

"Yes, thank you again, ma'am."

"Now you rest, mama comes home first yes, if we have time we stop by."

Hanan took Zahra to her room and rested while eating snacks and watching television.
