28. Thankfully Not Me

"Your feet are okay? Why go to work? You don't usually go to the office" asked Albert, looking at Sia who was glazed in front of the mirror while justifying her make up.

"As you can see, you want to go to work because there are some reports I have to collect." Sia put up an earring that Albert gave her a few days ago, making the man focus on it wrong.

Shortly after, the man's smile rose and made Sia's attention shifted to him.

"You just smiled? I didn't see it wrong, did I?" chirps Sia, as if mocking her.

Albert's smile that had looked very wide, suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a flat gaze.

"Here, don't make fun of me anymore. Go to work and don't forget to have breakfast before you go to work." Albert walked into the bathroom and immediately cleaned himself up.

While Sia goes to the dining room to finish her breakfast and goes to the husband's control office first to Albert.

Once down to the 1st floor, Albert immediately searched for Sia's whereabouts and did not find the wife there.

"Thomas, where'd my wife go? Did you leave??" albert asked, looking at Thomas who was cleaning the dining table.

Albert just nodded and let Thomas go.

"Don't forget to buy me fruit! From yesterday I have not eaten fruit because there is no waiter I can tell to go to the supermarket to buy it. They were all busy with their respective jobs until I dared not add to their workload."

Thomas nodded his head in understanding and let Thomas completely abandon him this time.

Turning her eyeballs lazily, Lana refocused on the computer screen and the earphones worn at this time.

But after hearing those words from Sia, Lana instead stopped her words and showed a sour expression.

Sia rolled her eyes lazily, and looked at Alex who was standing next to her while looking at her in silence from earlier.

While Lana who had wanted to question the same thing with Alex, could only swallow her hard saliva and said inwardly, "Luckily I'm not the one who asked!" he said, full of gratitude.
